Wir waren hier auf einer Rundreise und hatten das Studio Zimmer gebucht. Auf den ersten Blick waren wir begeistert. Relativ schnell haben wir aber gemerkt das aufgrund der großen Fenster sich das Zimmer sehr schnell aufheizt. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab konnten wir durch lüften (leider nur ganz kleine Öffnungen) das Zimmer nicht runterkühlen. Der Ventilator […] half auch nicht wirklich. In der Regel machen wir die Klimaanlage immer aus, aber hier hätten wir wirklich mal eine gebraucht. Das Studio verfügt nur über ein Schrankklappbett. Das hatten wir bisher noch nicht. Ansonsten ist die Lage sehr gut. Man kann zu Fuss alles erkunden. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hafens und ideal für Reisende mit der Fähre nach den USA. Modernes Design, grosszügige Zimmer und schneller Internet Service (gratis!). Presi/Leistung stimmt.

Die Zimmer /1 BEDROOM Suite / sind sehr gut ausgestattet. DIe Küchen haben eine komplette und gute Ausstattung. Der Balkon war angenehm. Hafenblick darf man bei dem Haus nicht erwarten! Die Betten empfanden wir als bequem! Das Badezimmer sehr komfortabel!

Room was great (studio) bed was a murphy bed -not very comfortable and low to the ground. But all in all a great stay have stayed several times now and the location, neighbourhood and overall enviroment wonderful. Staff are excellent.

Two bedroom with a pull out sofa. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. the overall hotel was great and very clean.

Very impressed with the hotel & staff, look forward to my next visit.

Stayed there with my wife.... Nice little hotel near the pier and City Council Building... Easy to come and go while getting to know Victoria... Have no regrets about staying there...excellent rate... The queen bed was a pull down..but comfortable..

Modern, clean, up-scale. Fully supplied kitchenette: including linens and soap(often not included). Only thing wonky was air circulation: fan didn't provide much circ as it didn't go very fast even on highest speed and a/c was obviously an afterthought with contraption that stick out the window and prevents the blind from going all the way down. it […] was also quite noisy. Excellent bed and bathroom. Needs room darkening shades! Loved the apples in the room and the cold pitcher of lemon water in the lobby. Quality restaurant with yummy tasting/wine paired menu. Mehr

This hotel was in a great location for walking in the Victoria downtown area. Most of the attractions were within walking distance. It looks as if this has one of the most reasonable rates for underground parking too ( just above single digit pricing ) Service was excellent. They left a message to make sure everything was in order after check in. One […] day they forgot to give us towels and I called the front desk. They rectified the problem and were friendly. Upon check in they give you a card for a discount in the bistro. It was a good discount for a good restaurant. Go for dinner and not for breakfast though as that was quite bland. The hotel was quiet with great service. Unfortunately if you want a great view this hotel did not have it from the third floor. Everything else made up for it though. Mehr

Just have nothing bad to say about the Oswego...ALL the staff were great,we were very comfortable there and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent value, great location

Not sure if this is recently refurbished or 100% new, but this is a great hotel. We had the "studio" which was far bigger than a standard hotel bedroom. The restuarant is a little pricey and with small portions - but there are plenty of alternatives in the neighborhood.

Shirk, urban hotel with living quarters and right next to downtown and the ferry. Everything you need and want in a vacation spot.

I loved my stay at the Oswego. It felt like a hip boutique inn. I had a studio room, which had a small stovetop, fridge, microwave and even dishwasher. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a separate tub and shower. The bistro had reasonable and delicious food on the main floor. Lovely, from top to bottom. Has a little bar-height table and stools […] as well as a comfy sitting chair. I noticed the weirdest thing, the counter at the registration desk had a layer of dust, not sure what that was about. I had a view of both the BC Legislature and the Harbor, and could walk to anything I wished. I would have loved to have been booked for a three night stay and visit. Highly, highly recommend. Mehr

Ideal location and modern rooms with friendly staff...would certainly stay with them again.

The studio suite that I stayed was very beautiful and clean. It has well equipped kitchenette and big bathroom. However, the bed was slightly less comfortable.

This hotel is a real gem--comfortable, classy, great location. Our one bedroom suite had everything we needed, including a modernist fruit bowl with three green apples in it and a French press with organic coffee! The bistro and bar downstairs are very reasonable in price, with good food. Highly recommend this place!

Very "urban and chic" but flakeyness aside...the stay overall was okay. My wife and I stayed here with our toddler. We pulled up and started to unload our bags on the curbside. No doorman no bellboy to speak of for some reason. I told my wife to go inside and I made a couple if trips to get our lugage inside. Then a guy appears at the front desk and […] asks for my credit card to confirm the reservation. Check in is at 3:00pm and it was just after noon so he said the only room he could give us was 205. Well i must say i have never stayed in a room so loud in my life. Honestly, the traffic noise was as loud as standing by the bus stop. As well, there were "conference rooms" on our floor. Until 2:00AM we had to listen to hooting, hollering, yelling and partying from these rooms and onto the street outside our windows. Maybe if we had a different room, higher up or on the other side it would have been better. Only other qualm was we were told they could accomodate us at the restaurant at 5:00pm. We arrive at 5:00pm and get told "oops sorry" we cannot now. Went down street to Santiago's; awesome meal. Veggie quesadia with housemade chorizo and copius amounts of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. mmm. Mehr

Wonderful, professional, easy access to everything. We started our week visit to the Island at the Oswego and then came back that same week for our final night on the Island. Both stays were exceptional and will refer friends and family in the future. Next time we might even bring the dog.

I spent two nights at The Oswego Hotel in Victoria. At the last minute, I had to bring my dog along. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The service was excellent. I really appreciated the care and attention that was provided. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again in the near future.

We booked the efficiency suite only to find a MURPHY BED. They upgraded us for $15 though. Website should be more clear about this

I stayed in a studio for business travel for one night. I had read great reviews and was not disappointed. I even enjoyed the mini-bottle of Merlot left in the room. My one mishap was that while I was ironing a shirt, the water spilled out of the pouring spout at the top of the iron. This is a little pet-peeve of mine because when the water splashes […] as such, it can leave a water-stain on clothing if it dries awkwardly. Other than that, every aspect of this hotel was impeccable. I will definitely stay there again. Mehr

Comfortable and well located. Our go-to choice for Victoria.

Clean hotel and courteous staff made for a great stay. I will stay at this establishment again the next time I'm in Victoria.

We stayed at this hotel for just one evening, but found it to be extremely comfortable, relaxing and a great atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again when we make a return visit to Victoria. The staff was also wonderful. The restaurant & menu also looked excellent, but as we enjoyed our meals at the homes of our friends, we didn't get the chance […] to try them out. Mehr

Beautiful hotel! Very contemporary in design. Everything from the lobby to the room was very clean. We stayed in the one bedroom basement and were complimentary upgraded to the premium suite upon arrival - nice bonus! The bed was very comfortabe and the room was quite spacious. Location is great too. Overall our stay was fantastic and we already know […] that we'll be staying here in the future. Mehr

We loved this hotel and staff was great. They welcomed our dog and room was wonderful but the one big downfall was a horribley uncomfortable bed. They definately should get rid of the murphy beds in the studio suites.

Fantastic property - close to downtown and wonderful service from everyone we met. They didn't just react to our requests, they anticipated them. The room was extremely comfy and quiet. We will make this the only place we stay when we head to Victoria.

IWe would definitely stay here again. Helpful staff, very clean and elegant furnishings. Could use a couple of towel bars in the bathroom.

This hotel has all that you need. Very good location, great service, safe parking and a good sized room. I had a murphy bed which was not as comfortable as a regular bed. There was a printed menu for the TV channels but no guide so one has to flip through each channel to see what is on. Overall a good stay. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. My daughter and I were very impressed with our room and the service at the front desk at the bistro was terrific. We had to ask for a server at the bistro for breakfast however once she came to serve us the remainder of the breakfast was fine. I would definitely stay here again.
