Das Zimmer (Nr. 104) war sehr sauber und wirkte sehr neuwertig. Durch die Lage bedingt (gegenüber befindet sich in wenigen Metern Entfernung das Nachbargebäude) war es etwas dunkel und hatte somit auch keine schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Es gibt keine Eismaschine oder Kühlschrank um seine Getränke o.ä. zu kühlen. Ansonsten hat uns das Hotel, der Pool […] und die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren positiv überrascht, ein so komfortables und trotzdem nettes Hotel bei unserer Reisestation in Palenque (2 Übernachtungen) vorzufinden. Der Poolbereich gestattete es, nach der Fahrt von San Cristobal an einem heißen Tag sich abzukühlen. Auch die nette Umgebung im schattigen "Waldvorort Canada" von Palenque trug stark zur Entspannung bei. - […] Mehrere Restaurants / Bars ein paar Häuser weiter ermöglichen es, sich nach einem Tagesausflug zu den Wasserfällen von Agua Azul und zu den Ruinen zu regenerieren. Der zentrale Teil von Palenque ist in 15-20 min über die Hauptstraße, am Busterminal vorbei, zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend, das Gepäck auch nach dem Ausschecken im Hotel aufzubewahren (unser Nachtbus weiter fuhr erst um 21:30) war kein Problem. we just enjoyed our stay at hotel chablis and just can recommend this accommodation! the service was great and we had a comfortable stay there. good location to the collectivos to palenque ruins and also to the ado-bus station (both in walking distance about 3-5 mins).

Obwohl das Hotel nicht ganz zentral liegt, kann man gut zu Fuß ins Zentrum gelangen. Der schöne Innenhof mit dem kleinen Pool ist eine herrliche Oase in der turbulenten und heißen Stadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll, ebenso die Badezimmer. Kleiner Abzug für das wie häufig in Mexico anzutreffende etwas süsslastige Frühstück.

Die Lage ist gut, wenn man ein Auto hat, der Preis ist zu hoch für das was man geboten bekommt. Das Frühstück im Partnerhotel ist ebenfalls zu teuer, nach 3 Tagen wechselte ich in ein Hotel gegenüber, dies war sauberer, günstiger und mit Frühstück inclusiv. Internet überall und sehr exelente netter Service.

Hotel zu empfehlen, sauber, freundlicher Service. Trotz Baumaßnahmen ruhig. Abseits vom Zentrum gelegen. Dies ist jedoch zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Guter Ausgangspunkt zur Fahrt zu den Ausgrabungsstätten.

Schlichte, neuwertige Anlage. Zimmer sind gut. Personal freundlich. Hotel verfügt über kein Restaurant, es hat aber mehrere in geh weite. Momentan (März 2012) wird ein zweiter Hoteltrakt gebaut, Baulärm ab ca. 08h00. Ins Städtchen muss man ca. 5 Minuten fahren.

The hotel is new, clean and in a good, safe area for visiting the ruins which is probably the reason for most visits to Palenque. Ther is a large, locked open air parking area imediately adjacent to the hotel. The service at reception was good. Breakfast (not included in our deal) was excellent and reasonably priced. A very safe and clean place to stay while visiting the Ruins of Pelenque.The hotel is close to the bus station and the Colectivos that drive you to the Ruins. The staff are helpful. The restaurant was not very interesting in decoration or menu. I was not limited however, as there were other restaurants close by.

Nice, clean, good breakfast buffet. Basic but ideal for a day trip to Palneque. Located on a nice street Canada (with hotels and a few restraunts). 3 minutes walk to the bus station/center of the Palenqe. Super wide beds. I enjoed it very much.

The hotel is new and has everything you need. Our room had a fan and air conditioning. The room was spotless and the staff very helpful. Would stay here again when in Palenque.

We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable, nicely located in the Canada district and an easy walk to the center of town, a less costly alternative to it's sister hotel Maya Tulipanes a block away. Staff was nice but with little English. Not a problem since they worked hard to understand what we wanted.

We stayed here four days and were very pleased with the size of the room, friendliness of the staff, and especially the location. We were within walking distance of downtown; there are about 5 restaurants on the same street as the hotel (currently they do not have one, but it is being added); and the largest attraction in the area, the Maya ruins, […] is about a 10 minute taxi ride and the rates are inexpensive. Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. After checking out at 12pm the staff let us stay to use pool facilities until our bus left at 9pm.

Very nice hotel that is still expanding. Once they are done with construction this should be a great hotel to stay in when you are visiting Palenque. Staff was young and eager to make us feel special. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a great pool that was cozy, but the water was a bit too cloudy for my girlfriend to go in.

Great hotel overall with a good location in the Palenque-centro hotel area. Very nice clean rooms with AC and nice swimming pool. During our stay there was construction work going on a new building for the hotel, which by the way seems like it will be opened soon. In any case they were nice enough to tell us in advance about possible noise (which turned […] out to be very little and perfectly fine) and even offer a room in sister hotel next door Maya Tulipanes. The hotel has a swimming pool which really is lovely considering the hot and humid conditions in Palenque. The staff were lovely and always on hand. The rooms were very clean, with complimentary bottled water which was replenished daily. The air conditioning and fan a must but we couldn't get a minimum optimum at night time (either a bit too cold or […] if switched off, too stuffy). The hotel is in a street where most hotels are found, about 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. It seems to be part of or has a business relationship with Hotel Maya Tulipanes, so they will refer you to this hotel for breakfast (they give you a 10% discount voucher) and meals. However, we didn't take up offer as we found it too expensive. Overall we found the hotel very satisfactory and a welcome relief after spending all day in such humid and hot conditions. Mehr

Very clean, sweet little hotel in Palenque's La Canada hotel district. Rooms are extremely clean, as is the pool and hotel grounds. The only drawbacks are no food or coffee on site, but that is easily overcome by visiting this hotel's sister property located very near by, or one of the excellent coffee shops also in the area.

The hotel was great, the service was excellant. It was over 90 degrees and they do not have an ice machine, so when we requested ice the staff would go to the other hotel nearby and bring it back. Now that is dedication !! They are adding to this hotel so it is under construction. However, the crews would not start until after 7 am, and end early in […] the afternoon, so no issues at all. Very good location amongst the trees with enough services for the short time we were there, 2 nights. AC was great for the humidity, restaurants were varied in the area and close to the collectivos to the ruins. A no-frills hotel for tourists visiting the Palenque ruins, Hotel Chablis is conveniently located in the La Cañada area. It is a 5-minute walk to La Cabeza Maya, where one can take the "colectivo" bus for 10 pesos to the Mayan ruins.

Hotel Chablis has been one of our favorite properties to date. It is great value for they money you pay: very clean, comfortable beds/towels and excellent and friendly staff. There was construction going on during our stay and the staff offered a room next door at their sister property instead. We took our chances and stayed at the Chablis liking the […] feel and vibe there. We were not dissapointed! The noise was minimal and stopped by 4pm which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the pool and outdoor area. Great internet connection, cable TV with many English channels and hot water. Its set in a nice area under beautiful tall trees. We loved the peaceful setting, warm genuine service and access to all needed by just a short walk. Just a short walk away on the main road, we caught a local collectivo to Palenque for 10pesos each and Agua Azul for 30pesos. Mehr

Hotel Chablis provides an economical choice with excellent service. It's a very modern place located on La Cañada street. Our room faced another room, which made it very quiet. It has a comfortable bed (king size and not on concrete) with a very clean,but tiny bathroom. We were surprised at how hot and humid Palenque was in February, so the AC was a […] huge hit. It has a huge ceiba tree in the middle and the birds loved greeting each other in the morning. No roosters nearby. The pool was a little messy, because a nearby tree was shedding its leaves. Hotel Chablis is on La Cañada street that was built right in a jungle and has a variety of hotels and hostels nearby. There's great variety in the restaurants and are within easy walking distance (10 steps). We especially loved the cebiche de camaronnes (shrimp ceviche) at La Huachinango con Feliz (The Happy Red Snapper). The shrimp were large and fresh and they made it as I requested - without onions. We only stayed one evening but it was a pleasant experience ... We were short of hot water in some of our rooms but it was quickly attended to.... One night is not enough! It was nice to have a dip in the pool

The town doesnt have much on offer for tourists beyond a few restaurants, so dont worry that you're a little out of town in the hotel zone. The only thing you're there to see is the ruins anyway. The hotel was clean and tidy. If you cant carry your own bags up two flights of stairs, request a bottom level room as there's no bell boy. There is construction […] next door but it didnt cause us any trouble. In fact it was quite interesting to watch how things are done in Mexico. One of our favorite accomodations in Mexico. The staff is just super in every way, very friendly and effecient. Room cleanliness top notch. Comfortable beds and pillows. Hotel is in an secluded area just 5 min walk from the center. Very cozy. Would absolutley recommend this hotel
