Our overall experience was good. The afternoon desk person was very nice and cordial. And the hotel halls were clean.

I went to Augusta for work and found out I had to stay for multiple nights. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was filling. The room was extremely clean and relaxing.

Overall a good value and nice place to stay, just off the Interstate. I would have given the room a 5 however the shower/tub did not drain well and I had to stand in a couple of inches of water to take a shower. The room was comfortable and clean nevertheless. Description on Hotels.com of the room booked never indicated that it was a handicapped accessible room. The nice GM switched my room after I objected. Also, only hotel on my 2 week trip through the SE that did not precondition the room. Facing South West, the room was quite hot when I checked in. It took 2 hours for the room to cool down. We came back because the first trip was a very good experience. Sadly, they are slipping a bit. Night clerk was not at all friendly and the breakfast was not maintained. They had two mornings to get it right and they did not. Empty bins that should have had hot food in them, no waffle batter, dirty counters, no coffee, no napkins or plates, overflowing […] trash cans. This was at 8:00AM, they still had another hour and lots of hungry guests. I watched people look around and walk out. Mehr

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable and the hotel was very noisy at night. Walls and doors were not soundproof at all.

I got the room because my girlfriend came down to visit from New York, and I booked from this hotel because of so many positive reviews. I can honestly say that the reviews are really accurate. The room was well maintained, clean, and had friendly staff. If you got a loved one coming down, and you plan on doing some serious procreating, I would recommend […] this hotel. Good beds, lots of furniture (sorry hotel staff, it was too tempting!), and overrall just really nice. My only qualm was the surrounding area. It's kinda empty, so it's slightly depressing. Also, not much in walking distance, but still, but I would still give this place 5 stars. The stay here is definitely worth every penny paid. And breakfast was awesome, and I think the walls are pretty thick as well. That, or there was either: 1) no one was next door, 2) no one that wanted to complain. A very pleasant experience, a little away from downtown and in a nicer section of town. Close drive to everything though. Room was spacious and included an apt sized fridge, microwave and sink. Also there was desk area. I was on the first floor, but the hotel was quiet and well maintained. Breakfast was ok.

The free breakfast, well you get what you paid for. Everything else was good.

We travel alot and prefer 3 star hotels. For the price and this being a 2.5 star, it was a perfect stay for us. Beds are very comfortable. Everything is clean. Room was over and above for the price. No problems whatsoever. Would recommend this to anyone.

Nice hotel overall. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a non-smoking room, but the halls smelled like smoke and our room once the air freshener smell subsided, smelled like smoke. The 1st and 2nd floors, where we had family staying didn't smell, so apparently the smoke smell was exclusive to the 3rd floor. Other than that, the stay was very nice. The maintenance was great. Everything was clean. The staff was friendly. The exercise equipment was up to date and worked. The laundry (washer and dryer) worked. However, there was no laundry soap either for sale or whatever. Hotel staff did not have change available to operate washer and dryer.

Everything was good except cleaning crew didn't change sheets, they made up the bed with the same dirty sheets and the same stains. Need to make sure you get clean bedding if you stay here. Hotel staff makes cookies but one staff member had an issue with making cookies and was a smart *** with the guest who asked about it. all was great except a bit far from downtown so if you are planning on drinking...take a cab or stay downtown...a lot too do

This hotel was very good for the price we paid, matter of fact it was excellent for the price. Served nice breakfasts, clean rooms, noise level excellent. Usually I can hear everything above or beside me, not at this hotel! If you want a clean nice place to stay for a reasonable price, this hotel is for you!!!

This hotel is not by the river, but it's not a far drive to the Savannah River canal (Evans to Lock Road), the most beautiful part of Augusta! The hotel is often occupied by construction workers, but they are nice. My only complaint was that there was only one thin blanket, and when I asked for another at the front desk, the employees were reluctant […] to allow me to borrow a second blanket. Mehr

Great place to stay very convienent to downtown Augusta.

The only bad parts about this room was the slight ring from the tv when it was on a while. Everything else was as nice as expected. The internet went down a couple of times, but that is also somewhat expected. Overall a recommended hotel.

The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and they did everything in their power to assist us. I was with a large group of athletes and they asked us what breakfast items we preferred so they could have extra on hand. The cookies were amazing.

Lots of in room ammenities for the price

the room was fine, the bed was fine, the service was fine. the walls are a little to thin, the person upstairs was walking around all night, i could hear every step. I could also hear the traffic going up and down the road all night. for the price it was a good place to sleep for a night. would stay there for any longer than one night. This hotel was beyond our expectations! It was more than worth the money and the staf... wonderful. Wish we could've made it to breakfast during our stay. It was also very convenient to restaurants. I'd advise everyone to stay here!!

The hotel is great room for the money. Clean and easy to get to. Even though we had a smoke free room; smoke travel up and our room smelled of smoke from the smoking rooms below. Perhaps the hotel should put their smoking rooms on top and non-smoking rooms at the bottom.

Very friendly staff. Iron was old and burned a shirt and management is willing to reimburse. Good to know service is still practiced in hospitality.

The hotel was very clean and quiet; the room large with a number of impressive ammenities. The staff was attentive and patient, and the hotel was located just off the interstate with a large commerical area with stores and restaurants just a few miles away.

Hotel was new and in fairly good condition; however, when I asked for a non-smoking room of the same class, they wanted another $20 per night. Why should non-smokers pay a higher room price than smokers who cause real damage to the room. If Baymont's policy is to charge non-smokers more than smokers, it is the last time I will stay at Baymont
