War ein echt schöner Aufenthalt. Super Frühstück. Leider war das Personal nicht so gut über Prag informiert.

Das Hotel liegt in Prag sehr zentral und doch nicht in einem stark frequentierten Stadtbereich. Es besitzt alle Annehmlichkeiten welche für einen Stadttouristen wichtig sind. Gute Lage, wir hatten ein nettes Mansardenzimmer und habe uns sehr wohl gefuehlt.

Eurostars David is a quiet, comfortable well-maintained hotel that offers an excellent breakfast every morning, and reliable wireless internet access in the rooms. The property is well located, near Frank Gehry's Dancing House, the Vltava river and not far from the National Theatre where the opera performs. The hotel would be even better if non-smokers […] were offered clean air not just in their own rooms but also more generally in the building. Smoke drifted into my room frequently during my stay. Most of the hotel staff members were well-trained, courteous and knowledgeable, but this was not uniformly the case. nice hotel and nice and spaceous rooms, in general good service. A 15 min walk to old city, and with good communications. However wi-fi in my room was very slow and unstable at my stay, which unfortunately reduced the value of my stay. i think this might be due to the location of my room. In lobby it worked well.

Great Location, great room, great breakfast, great staff - what more could you want?!

Centrally located and reasonably priced, it has well-designed rooms in a building with a beautiful old interior. Very helpful concierge. I've stayed there three times and can't think of a complaint I've had at any point. Highly recommended.

Excellent Hotel. Close to Old Town and historical Charles bridge. Easy to get to and from. Brilliant location. Staff are warm and friendly. Comfortable room with beautiful Bathroom. Shower was amazing! Breakfast has a huge selection to choose from. Top quality!

Lovely hotel. A Four Star property. Rooms all new, modern. Try to get a room with a balcony and a view of the river. Enjoyed it. Nice complimentary good quality breakfast downstairs.

having stayed in 5 differant hotels in prague i would not hesitate in recommending hotel david staff were most helpful with internet [which is free] even moving our room to get better acess. situated near river making acess to new and old town very easy, highly recommended to enhance your prague visit.

The hotel is pretty good for the money. The location is not bad at all, a 20 minute walk from major, tourist attractions. The hotel is old, yet simply decorated and maintained. The room and bathroom is very comfortable. However, the hallway outside my room at night really smelled like cigarette smoke; very strong, like a nightclub. Also, I noticed that […] the room's floor was very dusty. Seems like they clean all the room except sweeping the floor. The breakfast buffet is really really good and for 8 euros, you cannot beat that. Would recommend if you are on a budget. Mehr

I consider this hotel an only slightly rough gem in a good part of Prague. It is ideally located, a block off the river and in the Stare Novo, only a short walk from the oldest and most historic part of the city. If you are so inclined it is a three block walk from the very simple to use Metro system (also clean and safe), and in fact I used public […] transport between the hotel and airport with comparative ease. The hotel staff were most helpful, the room and facilities clean and the neighborhood was good - so many pubs and restaurants within a few block walk. Also, it is located in a very quiet neighborhood so it is easy to sleep there at night. The hotel offers a free sauna which I loved. My only issues - I felt the bed was a bit uncomfortable (a better quality mattress would have helped a lot) and the free exercise room is poorly equipped. I would stay here again and I do recommend it Mehr

It was a good hotel. The breakfast was good, pretty typical European but there were these little mini pancake things that were rolled up and were really good. I really liked the heated floors in the bathroom. The bed was a little hard; I didn't mind but my husband complained about it. Not too much smoke for being in eastern Europe. There was smoking […] allowed in the lobby but not in the breakfast area. Also the hallway smelled a bit like smoke but I didn't notice any in the room itself. Good wifi in the room. Mehr

This was a great hotel all around. The room was fantastic and spacious as was the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty. The location was close to everything, though I wish it were slightly closer. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable as well. Next time we visit Praha, we will stay here again for […] sure. Mehr

Well located moderately priced hotel, easy walk to all major sites in Prague. Room well furnished, modern. Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet is excellent with wide choice of food in a pleasant breakfast room.

Nice little place. Quiet and the room was nicely decorated and clean. Service was good - a little glitch in our reservation as we arrived a day later than we anticipated. Location good. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the room lacked a little extra lighting but overall a pleasant experience. I would go back.

We stayed for 2 nights in Prague, and this hotel was the perfect place! Very well-appointed, and in a prime location. The room was very comfortable, and clean. The staff was super-friendly. Breakfast was standard, but good. Parking in this neighborhood is very difficult, and is very limited at the hotel, so if you come by car, be prepared! You can see the dancing house building from the front door of this place and easily walk along the Vltava to the Charles river bridge. Everything was as advertised or better, we would definitely recommend.

I staying in 7 hotels during my Euro trip in August, and this one is definitely the best one! The price is reasonable, room is very new and clean, the receptionist is friendly, and the room even has a big bathtub! Location is good too. I give 10 of 10 to Eurostars David.

this hotel was very pleasant, reasonable value and in a good location in central prague. However one thing thoroughly annoyed me. I arrived and checked in at approximately 930pm. I had a business meeting the next morning and needed to get a shirt pressed. Since there was no iron in the room i asked at the front desk whether i could get this done or […] borrow an iron. their response was that this definitely wasn't possible until 7am the next morning when i should ring down and borrow an iron but no ironing board would be possible. i was directed to iron on my hotel desk and that if i wanted an ironing board i should have gone to a 5 star hotel rather than a 4 star one. i think this is ridiculous and very bad service. if i am on business and check into a hotel of supposedly high calibre i expect shirt pressing facilities as a bare minimum! i would think twice about recommending this hotel to someone else firstly due to the lack of an iron and secondly due to the poor attitude of the staff when faced with this problem. Great service! Convenient location - 15 min walk to old square, just 2 min away from a major tram and metro stop. Can walk everywhere! Yummy breakfast buffet.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Eurostars David in Prague. Having stayed in a Eurostars Lex in Barcelona we were again pleased with this hotel. We enjoyed the walk to our tour and the two small local pubs right outside the hotel. It was our best hotel in Europe and we'd highly recommend it. Lots of construction in the surrounding area, which made getting to the hotel hard. Also the hotel doesn't have a sign so very hard to find, but a really nice, quiet hotel. There isn't any parking available though, you have to park in a parking garage about 5 minutes away, and its around 500cz ($30). Very close to old town and charles bridge. Make sure […] to find the do not disturb button, the maid didn't wait after knocking and just walked into the room around 8am... Needless to say she got a show... Mehr

This hotel's got a lot going for it. We very much enjoyed our stay, found the hotel to be well-appointed and stylish, and had no trouble getting to the sights using it as home-base. My fiance and I look forward to staying at Eurostars David again!

We loved the hotel; the regular room was reasonably sized, nice sheets, great bathroom, water pressure, friendly staff. An excellent value, overall; especially since we didn't expect the AWESOME BREAKFAST BUFFET!!! German breakfast, mini pastries, good coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and sautéed veggies (better eat 'em for breakfast; there won't […] be any more veggies in your day in Prague!), four kinds of cheeses and meats and fresh rolls and pickled pickles and olives and fish; OMG! Also, they totally didn't rush us out when we arrived at 5 minutes before closing; in fact the buffet seemed to stay well-stocked and open for an hour past closing - my kind of buffet!! We did have a couple of tiny problems, as you might expect with an older building -- it has been pretty recently remodeled, though; so linens, curtains, etc. were all lovely. Our towel-warmer was broken, and though they sent someone up, it wasn't fixed. There aren't sufficient hooks/rods for your towels to hang dry otherwise, but since they changed our towels and sheets daily, it didn't really matter. (But it would've been nice when we ran out of undies & socks to not have to wait two days for things to dry. :p) The window-locking mechanisms worked, but the handles were coming loose. This wasn't worrisome, as we weren't on the ground floor (There are no rooms on the ground floor). They were having trouble with the key-cards, so we had to fiddle with real keys, which required four turns and had to be locked by turning the key the opposite way from the inside. But really; that was almost a cute sort of annoyance. Not having a "tidy up/do not disturb" light was no issue - they cleaned the room every day, didn't knock on the door before 10am ever, and were very sweet, and gave us four extra pillows. The bed was not lumpy, but is FIRM, so if you're not used to that, a nest of pillows does the trick. As for the hotel room itself; it was great; neat hardwood floors, tall windows, good blackout curtains. Mehr

I was surprise by the hotel. Is situated just 300 mts from the metro or bus stop. Very nice neighborhood, very quiet. The staff is super efficient and frendly. A complete breakfast, the room very clean, fast internet access (WIFI) in the room. Really; I receive a 5 star hotel service for this nice (non expensive) hotel and if I have chance to go back […] to Prague, of course I will stay again in this hotel. Thanks to all the staff, very helpful with everything, also to show us the places to visit. I recomend this hotel AAAAA++++++ Dont wory, it is easy to get from the Airport to the hotel. Take bus # 100 that leave you in the metro station and then go all the way to "Karlova Námesti" stop. Then 3 blocks from there, you will find this nice hotel! Good luck! Mehr

very nice suprise, very clean and friendly helpful service, particularly Maria at the front desk! bed was a little hard but got used to. Convenient store accross the street and many good places to dine nearby at very affordable prices. A short walk from metro station was a plus!

too expensive for what you get. there are better places around for the same or less. 15euros for breakfast - why?! poor quality toiletries. no one tells you how to call downstairs, they don't release a local phone number to give friends. no refrigerator, poor space for clothes, nice restaurants around. good location. front desk guy very very nice. if […] they lowered the price it would be great.
