Das Hotel ist zentral angebunden, U-Bahnstation ist ca. 100 m neben dem Hotel. Die Architektur des Hotels und die Ausstattung ist modern und hat uns gut gefallen. Nicht gefallen hat uns das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Pool-Room neben der Gästetoilette mit Wand 1 m vor dem Fenster ist für den Preis zu klein. Sehr schön sind die Aqua-Rooms. I will definitely come back and stay here the next time i'm in Singapore. It's a super convenient location and b/c its a boutique, it doesn't feel stuffy. Love the free wifi, breakfast, and minibar. Everything was excellent.

We stayed 2 nights in Singapore on our way home from the UK. The New Majestic Hotel was a fun, funky hotel. The staff were great, the restaurant was terrific, the location was very convenient. We found to 'openness' of the toilet in our room a bit unusual but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Hotel seems to be renovated and is very clean. Outram MRT station is only 100metres away and very close to downtown chinatown. my room was a bit small but very clean and with perfect air condition and all amenities necessary. Down the road a new appartment complex is being built so there is some noise and they start at 6.30am. But keep in mind Singapore […] is a megacity and noise and builidng sites are everywhere and not a tropical beach getaway. The hotel provided ear plugs that helped me very much as I am used to very quiet surroundings. The bed was wonderful and the outdoor pool was big enough to swim a few rounds. the wireless in the room works nice but gets very slow in the evening hours. Still fast enough for emails. the minibar contains complimentary soft drinks and water that also helped with those outside temperatures. The hotel also provides a breakfast buffet and runs a hotel which is compared to other restaurants close by pretty pricey but good food. I prefered to eat downtown chinatown. Mehr

The hotel's close to the train station, various food and clubbing places at Chinatown. There's no problem with the renovation that's going on, nor hot water, as seen on some reviews. The hot water in our tub does run out, but we took 1 min to wait for new round of hot water for the bath.

I stayed here for the better part of a week during a conference and am so glad I selected this hotel. In fact, I'm so happy with my stay that I'm writing this review before checking out later today! I got the Goldfish Room, which was whimsical and beautiful. It has its own beautiful cast iron tub out on a private verandah. As others have noted, there […] are little creature comforts here like a Nespresso machine, complimentary water and juice, and a Bose sound station connected to an iPod dock. I didn't notice the comfy, plush bath robe on the shelf above the desk until a few days into my stay. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful. After I arrived far too early for check-in due to a 6AM arrival from New York, they (1) hooked me up to Wifi via my laptop in the lobby right away so I could check up on the news from back home and then (2), when it was ready, actually let me use another room that had opened up so I didn't have to wait to freshen up until my room was available. That was greatly appreciated. The location is good, right by Outram Park station on the green and purple lines. There is some construction going on as of early March 2010 and that does mean you can't turn directly onto Bukit Pasoh Road from Eu Tong Sen Street, FYI. I can hear some drilling as I'm typing this but for me, the sound is not too bad. They have also provided ear plugs for guests to account for this. FYI to the foodies, this hotel is a short walk away from the Maxwell Road Food Centre where Tony Bourdain ate chicken rice on his No Reservations show. Just take Neil Road up to where Neil Road becomes New South Bridge Road and intersects with Maxwell Road. All in all, an excellent stay and there's no question where I'll be staying the next time I come back to Singapore. Thank you very much New Majestic! Mehr

The fact that the hotel is located just 2 minutes away from Outram Park MRT made my stay in Singapore a lot easy and pleasant. The hotel also provided very good service. Our room was clean and well-equipped. Premier Garden Style rooms with` outdoor bathtubs are perfect for couples.

This hotel is close to Chinatown and a train station, so conveniently position in the new trendy part of Chinatown. the pool was small but nice. Breakfast was fine, but we had not idea of what we could order for a full english breakfast. This hotel is in a great location. It was also one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in and the room had every thing you could want. Although the room was a little small and as at late Nov, the hotel is under same maintenance and there is construction nearby, but we only got back late in the evening and left early in the morning, so it was not a great concern for us. we stayed here for 3 nights before heading to thailand and it was very convenient. the price was quite good and we liked how it included breakfast as not many hotels in singapore do this. convenient to chinatown, only about 8 min walk and outram park MRT station just around the corner. one stop on the MRT and you pretty much get to sentosa island and […] 2 stops in the other direction will take you to clarke quay which was great. our room was a bit small for our liking, not really any space to lay down your suitcase but they have been clever in how they have positioned the toilet and shower. this being said, i dont think the size of a room is a major issue because if you are in a foreign country/city you wont be spending a lot of time in our hotel anyway right?! we would recommend to anyone to stay here and would definitely use this hotel again. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly but the amenities and facilities offered are not what is actually available. Because the hotel was overbooked we were upgraded to a supposedly better room (loft suite?) than we had booked (premier pool room) but I'm not sure a smaller room could have existed. The lower area had a small sitting area, toilet […] & shower while the bedroom was up a ladder. To enter the shower you had to go through the toilet . The bed was just a mattress on the floor of the loft and even at just 5'4" I couldn't stand under the sloping ceiling to get to the other side of the bed but had to crawl across the mattress. Breakfast was sparse compared to what we are used to having in Asian hotels. The location at the top end of Chinatown is fine and convenient to public transport. We'll look elsewhere next time! Mehr

This is one of the coolest hotels I've stayed at. It's in a great part of Chinatown, stumbling distance from the MRT station, great bars and interesting shops. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when we slept in until 15 minutes before check-out after a great night out at a local bar. The service is friendly although they don't have big shot concierge that will point you to expensive restaurants.
