Verbesserungswürdig sind die allzu harten Matrazen, der oft unpünktliche Beginn des Frühstücks und das nur zufällig hin und wieder funktionierende Internet. Bei der ein- bis zweimal wöchentlich stattfindenden musikalischen Untermalung des Dinners hätten wir uns indische Musik gewünscht statt des Absingens westlicher Oldies durch Einmannkapellen.

It is a nice one, quiet, nice accomadation, professional staff, everything very good.The only downturn is that you have no breakfast buffet and have to order your breakfast - what you can order which is included in the breakfast is very basic, otherwise a nice place. Also surrunding is quiet.

Wir kamen am frühen morgen an, unser Zimmer war noch nicht frei, dennoch kümmerten sich alle rührend um uns. Wir konnten gleich eine Dusche nehmen, bekamen Kaffee und Tee, die Liegen im Garten wurden uns bequem hergerichtet- also unübertroffene Gastfreundschaft. Die Unterkunft diente uns für 3 Nächte als Start in eine 2-wöchige Goa- Rundreise, aber es blieb die beste von allen. Sauber, frische Blumen, tägliche Reinigung und frische Handtücher, stets eine aufgefüllte Minibar- eher ein großer Kühlschrank:)) Danke an Mario, er fuhr uns gleich am Ersten Tag (nach einer erholsamen Nacht) nach Panjim und Old Goa. Das er den ganzen Tag, während unserer Besichtigungstour, auf uns wartete war super, für indische Verhältnisse zwar nicht ungewöhnlich, wie wir jetzt wissen:), dennoch Danke. Danke an die gesamte Familie und das gesamte Bougainvillea Team. Jederzeit empfehlen wir Euch weiter. Andre und Anne

Candolim Beach, Fort Aguada und Umgebung
Der Candolim Beach im Norden von Goa ist eine perfekte Alternative zu den überfüllten Stränden Calangute oder Anjuna. Der Strand ist 15 Kilometer von Panaji entfernt und leicht von Mapusa und Calangute aus zu erreichen. Wer eine beschauliche und ruhige Strandatmosphäre bevorzugt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Hier bieten sich viele Möglichkeiten zum Schnorcheln, Fischen und Tauchen. Da dieser Ort sehr beliebt bei Touristen ist, befinden sich hier viele Hotels und Gästehäuser in der näheren Umgebung des Strands. Ein Muss im Besichtigungsplan für Candolim ist Fort Aguada am Sinquerim Beach - die am besten erhaltene portugiesische Festung in Goa.

"Hotel liegt sehr günstig zur Bushaltestelle und für andere Unternehmungen."
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig zur Bushaltestelle nach Mapusa, Aprora usw. Das "Republic of Noodles" (Nudelrestaurant im Hotel) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Leider sind die Tische sehr unbequem - man weiß nicht wohin mit den Beinen. Auch das Essen im Hotel ist sehr gut. Nebenan ist das Geschäft eines sehr guten Optikers und gegenüber (Durchgang neben dem Ledergeschäft) […] gibt es einen sehr guten Schneider, den man wirklich empfehlen kann. Lemon Tree is a good comfortable hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful which made our stay welcome and relaxed. We were there on a full board basis which was a mistake, especially as there are some good eating places near by, not least the Republic of Noodles. Whereas the dinning room in the hotel did not provide much variety and […] is small and claustraphobic. Good clean hotel. Good variety in breakfast which was included in our package ...timings were 6.30 to noon. Lunch and dinner menu is also good. Asian restaurant on site is good as well. Beach is walkable...5 mins away...clean and not crowded. Beach side shacks are there but would not eat there...only ok for a beer. Good pool side bar.Kids pool also […] good. Rooms are well stacked with towels...good hot forceful shower. Airconditioned rooms. In room service 24 h/day. Additional bed is extra. Good location....shopping is walkable on either side of the hotel. There are 2 supermarkets closeby...Delfino's is a good one that carries all international brands...range of foods, snacks, beers, sunscreen lotions, etc. No metered taxis in Goa...so do negotiate with cab drivers...generally can get a 80km/8 hr cab with driver for 1800/day with additonal 18Rs/km. All north Goa beaches are close. Lots of restaurants around, can order Dominos pizza in room as well. Overall enjoyeable stay, good service and value for money. Hotel is located at a very convenient location on the main candolim-calangute road.It has nearby shopping areas and very good food joints serving variety of foods from european, chinese,mughlai, indian etc.ATM is nearby, street shopping is also convenient. Hotel is providing good service. However beach access is not convenient and needs walking from […] the back gate of the hotel almost 200 metres. It is a very excellent hotel to stay, Near to the market & 4-5 Km from Calanguate. Just a 5 min walk from Candolim beach, Beach is extremely clean supported by mast weather. Rooms were clean & tidy, with excellent service quality. We were very happy with this Hotel services. Efficient and courteous staff with one of the best housekeeping services we have come across. Rooms and surroundings are clean. Hotel location is also very convinient with beach and market within short walking distance. Beach at the back of the hotel is clean and lovely. I moved from a cheaper hotel to Lemon Tree and I am glad I did. The hotel provided an oasis from the heat in Goa, Don't know what people do in the small family hotels - like the one I first selected. Recently my daughter and I had a very pleasant three night stay in one of the Heritage rooms of the Lemon Tree Hotel. From check in to check out everything went extremely well. The personnel working in the hotel were polite and gracious at all times. My birthday was on the 17 January 2012 and to my surpise and delight that evening a beautiful bunch […] of flowers and a delectable chocolate cake were delivered to our room. It seems that the information was retrived from my passport. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and all the staff that we encountered during our stay. Very high standards of service from room cleaning, to general tidiness, to service at breakfast. The pool is lovely, it is in the shade in the mornings which is a shame but lovely in the afternoons. "Solid Base for a Vacation"
After a hectic and sleep deprived stay in Mumbai, my friends and I planned to visit Goa to unwind and relax. The Lemontree definitely came through on that end, and the staff was accomodating. Between the pool bar, the phenomenal restaurant (RoN) on site, and the close proximity to the beach, this place came through for us. The rooms were ok, but we […] didnt have the best spot so I'm sure there are rooms in better spots, as we were in the courtyard. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was perfectly fine. We had stayed at the Trident in Mumbai previously, and there was little drop in quality in terms of food quality for breakfast. My only complaint is the location in relationship to the more populated areas in the north and the interesting sightseeing available in the interior of Goa. But, everything is just a cab ride away and if you dont need the clubs of Baga, night market of Arpora, or the spice farms of Ponda, this is a great place to unwind. We just took a taxi at night, and to be honest, that was fine. One of the better experiences we had on our whole trip was the day long sightseeing trip the hotel arranged using their vehicle and driver. We cruised around Goa in the comfort of AC with a great driver and really got to see some great sights. I would highly recommend doing this. Just talk to the front desk. I booked Heritage suite and room was truly authentic. It was refreshing stay at Lemon Tree true to its name. It was my first experience with Lemon Tree and it was a good one. The hotel staff is great. It's location makes it accessible to all the places to visit in Goa. This hotel is a great location in Candolim. It is situated right in the middle of Candolim, with restaurants, shopping and beach within easy walking distance and everything else north Goa has to offer a short taxi ride away. The hotel is a very good standard for Goa, internationally probably a 3 * standard. The staff are great especially with children. […] Just be aware of what your package includes because the desk staff are not always so well informed. the expedia rate we took was bed, breakfast and evening meal but the hotel allows you to take lunch insterad of evening meal if that suits. We stayed here for 6-days and really enjoyed our stay. The resort is really clean and very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Plus we ate at the Citrus cafe most nights and had the buffet there that starts at 7:30. The Assistant Manager Mr. Rafiq and the staff were all very friendly and made our stay wonderful.
