Majestic Hotel Tower - Dubai

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Besuche in den Souks und Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall. Sauberes, zweckmässiges Zimmer. Neues Bad. Netter Service. Freies W-LAN in der Lobby (kostenpflichtig in den Zimmern). Taxis sind leicht verfügbar und Thrifty Autovermietung ist gerade um die Ecke.

Das einzige Problem war, dass die Klimaanlage nicht nur für Kühlung sondern auch für einen Durchzug sorgte. Aber dieses Problem gibt es in den meisten Hotels.

Das Hotel liegt eher ausserhalb von den Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Metro ist schwierig zu Fuss zu erreichen.

It was the best service I had in the past few years. The staff is extremely helpful and the location is just 5 minutes walking from Al Fahidi metro station. I will recommend this hotel to my friends, and sure when back to Dubai I will stay there again.

Left our camera in the cab arriving at the hotel and they straight away helped us with getting the taxi number and contacting the authority. Haven't received our camera back yet, but they continued to contact them to see if anything had turned up throughout our stay. Would Recommend!

The Staff was great and I recommend the Greek Restaurant the food there was excellent! It was Truely a great visit, we also went to see the live band in the Music Room and have a few drinks.

Stay was nice. Close to Metro from which you can get to any major place in the city. The pillows did smell a little moldy though. May need to wash with different cleaning agent.

This hotel is abundant with entertainment, however in the "Music Room".which is one of it's own venues the DJ to plays the music too loud which makes having a conversation near impossible if you are with friends. I wanted to watch the final (repeat) of the "Masters Golf" which was showing in "Barrels" sports bar while having lunch but the young lady […] in charge did not know how to change the channel on any of the TV's.,as it was showing on a special channel. We had a lovely stay,staff very friendly and helpful only thing we could fault was price of cup of tea was about 5 euro which was very expensive

Upon arrival, I was thankful that I only had an overnight bag and that I wasn't in a wheelchair because I didn't notice any ramp access to the main lobby. After having a decent night's sleep, my mother and I awoke to brown water running from the bathroom sink. When I reported this information to the front desk, she didn't have much time to address my […] complaint due to repeated phone calls she had to answer since she was the only person working at the front desk. For a few extra dollars, I included the breakfast buffet, this was a mistake- food and service were subpar, hostess practically rushed us out of the dining area 20 minutes before the buffet time ended. Overall, the hotel is very conveniently located to Sheik Zayed Rd, as well as the train station (just a 2-block walk). I was hoping this would be my choice hotel for hosting a large group of friends coming to the UAE next spring. I will have to keep looking. Mehr

Constant wait for use of one of only two elevators in the entire hotel was to much.

1 bedroom apartment was spacious with very comfortable bed and a view towards the cruise harbour. 2 balconies but both doors were locked off (key available from reception). Separate kitchen room had all amenities but lacked some utensils. Hotel breakfast buffet offered a good variety (even pork bacon and sausages available which you may not always […] find in UAE hotels). Bathroom was also of good size with bathtub and separate shower, however the shower had no water and we experienced a leakage from the room above. Hotel provided affordable airport transfer service with a more comfortable ride than many Dubai taxis offer (although Dubai taxis have changed a lot during the past years and seatbelts are now a standard feature, still the drivers can have an aggressive driving style). Pool area was adequate, however the amount of sunbeds were limited. Poolbar with good selection and friendly staff, but always mix up in the orders and a bit pricy. Hotel offers buffet and a la carte lunch. The Greek restaurant is recommended. Location wise you can do better, but at a considerably higher price. If you can live with 15-30 min taxi rides to the famous malls (cost 30-50DHS/10-15USD) then you can probably be well off here. Mehr

Stayed in Majestic for seven nights very close to metro and old town Staff very friendly and helpful from reception to the staff at pool had meals in both restaurants food excellent one small point ladies of the night were working close by aprox 100metres from hotel

Hotel Majestic was in a great location, close to Metro station, shops and restaurants. Hotel decor was very stylish and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a standard room to find it was more like an apartment!!! Plenty of room with separate kitchen and living room! Can't wait to go back!!!

I was in Dubai only for about 18 hours and was impressed with the quality of this hotel for the price I paid. Clean, comfortable, and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was a good value for the money. The standard rooms are somewhat small and tight, though it has all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was large but not to scale relative to the room that was small. The service at the hotel was slow, especially with being served at the restaurants. While the people were nice, the language barrier was difficult […] as many spoke only broken English and it's expected that everyone knows English in this area. I like the fact that it was very tall hotel tower with 28 floors - my view was excellent overlooking Dubai city with a large balcony. Overall, decent hotel for a good price. Mehr

We chose this hotel due to reasonable prices and we didn't expect much from this hotel. This hotel turned out to be a 5 Star hotel with its clean, neat appearacne and a really great room. This hotel is situated close to city centre (diera) and good shoppingyou can purchase almost anything within a half mile radius. Half hour in a taxi tales you to the beach provided you don't get a taxi driver who likes to do a city tour first. Ask your hotel receptin the direct route and tell the driver that's the way you want to go..

Well I stayed here for 4 nights and couldnt have been happier. Yes it's taxis everywhere but I was lucky to get a high floor with excellent view of Dubai's "Manhatten". As for the hotel, Great selection of resturants and bars and staff could not have been more friendly. Really excellent service. Go for the Chicken tikka misala in barrels bar. Its AMAZING. Bad […] points ... steer clear of the greek restaurant! It was overpriced poor quality food. and the biggest let down for me was the poor attutide, bad customer service and plain rudeness of the front desk staff. The hotel itself is very nice....but i was not really happy with the location, the nearest subway station is about 5min walk, and you can get to all the tourist attractions in about 30mins subway ride, or take a taxi for about 25 AED. Neighborhood isn't bad either. You have Mc D's, Subway and some decent restaurants nearby. the front desk is nice, […] quick check-in/check-out. The only thing i really hated is the woman @ the travel desk. I was visiting dubai for only 2 days, and obviously i wanted to get out of the hotel and see around ASAP and not spend a ton of time at the travel desk, i had to make a simple reservation for desert safari, and the lady took forever! My parents and I had 4 nights there. The hotel upgraded us to a suite. The view and the comfort was simply fantastic! There is a lot of room for service improvement. Our room was not cleaned up until we asked, every day. And the amenities were not given in a standard way,usually couple of items missing. But the business center Fillipino officer was […] GREAT. Overall, a good stay. No negative comments.

I stayed at this hotel the first week of December and for the money I paid I feel I robbed the place. The service was excellent and the hotel staff did their best to assure that I enjoyed my stay. The room was wonderful and I could not have asked for a better vacation. I will recommend to all and will visit this hotel again.

Good location, and the breakfast was good, but we did have a broken shower which we reported and it was not fixed the whole time we were there.

I have stayed at the Majestic Hotel Tower many times and always enjoy my stay there. The staff make me feel very welcome and it is situated in or near the city center, with good shopping not far away.

Overall I was very satisfied with the stay and I would recommend it to others. That said, not much variety when it came to places to eat onsite. The breakfast buffet had somewhat a limited selection and restaurant staff were not very friendly. Bottom line, it serves the purpose of a short stay in Dubai. This is an amazing hotel for the price. You'll have to take cabs everywhere, especially if you want to go out at night. They have shuttles that go to the beach or the mall depending on the day which helps. Area is safe, near the different markets. Felt intimidated walking around at night as two females but mainly because we were lost and there was a […] language barrier. Hotel service was great. Great people working there. The hotel is nice. In dubai there is a lot of hotel securities and this hotel rank medium. Clean, and comfy overall.

The location was a bit far from all the action but once inside the hotel, everything sufficient. The staff on our first day were friendly and they helped keep our belongings when we arrived earlier than check-in time. There was a nice little cafe downstairs with good wi-fi internet. Nice hotel if you need a cheaper place to stay in Dubai. Cheap taxi ride to near by shopping, the gold market and the beach. Rooms were clean with balcony and a good view.

Our corporate staff stays here regularly. We like the rooms, the food and the service. It feels like a home away from home. Best value hotel in Dubai.

Location of the hotel is very convenient and far from the bustle and hassle, and close to all major and important places and this is my favorite

The hotel is very convenient for city centre, some shopping Malls and some cinema's are nearby.. 15 minutes in a taxi to the Burge Kalifa "The worlds tallest building" and the public beach. 30 minutes to the Marina and most of the Jumeirah beach hotels.

As Usual very good stay and very good price

Amazingly friendly staff! The Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Nice resturants within the hotel - my favorite was the Greek resturant Elia, must eat there. The hotel rates are very reasonable and worth your money.

I pass through Dubai a several times a year and I stay here always because it's convenient and hassel-free.
