Tigerlily - Edinburgh

Super Hotel mit toller Bar/Restaurant, eigentlich eher super Location mit angeschlossenem Hotel. In jedem Fall lohnenswert, wenn man auch mal im Hotel etwas erleben möchte.

Good location and service. Could do with a pillow choice, only have hard fibre filled, very uncomfortable. No natural air ventilation in our room, due to the later addition of a fixed payne, over the double glazing . I was told,"its to do with safety" rubbish of course, Its to keep the noise down.

Very vibrant and buzzy ground floor, welcoming, friendly receptionist and great bar area. Room was very comfortable - the bed, furnishings etc. all spottlessly clean and modern. Great central location, with a Boutique nightclub (not used) underneath. Three small quirks: - The lighting system was hard to work out - all elecrtonic buttons etc. so hard […] to turn on bathroom light without turning on other lighting for example - Aircon was a little noisy - Hand towels smelled of vinegar so I suspect they had not been properly rinsed at the laundry. (The bathrobes were fine) Recommended as a romantic getaway (room would be good for sex, and nice in-room breakfast available) or for a business trip if you were wanting to keep a high energy level or use the restaurant. you must stay here if your in edingburgh, even if its for one night. the best hotel in scotland. great!

Central location, beautifully decorated bedrooms and public areas though the bar's a bit too trendy in decor for my liking. No parking as with most hotels in Edinburgh. Rooms are well equipped with salon professional hairdryers, GHD straighteners, and White Company toiletries. Turn down service in the evening. Extremely comfortable bed ensured a great […] nights sleep. Annoying light switches, especially if you get up in the middle of the night and can't fathom the right light switch out of the 8 on the panel! Hotel's check in policy on their own website and hotels.com is 2pm yet reception told us checkin wasn't until 3pm. Very much enjoyed our stay. Mehr

I felt looked after as soon as I got out of the taxi as there was a member of staff to take me to reception. Bedroom was large and well equipped. I like the extra little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge which make a difference. Food was good and well presented. Breakfast was not included in our rate, but again pleasantly surprised by the reasonable […] rates for this. Location is also great for shopping in George Street. Staff really do go the extra mile here. I appreciated their successful efforts to make a last minute manicure appointment for me. Look forward to returning in the future. Mehr

The tiger lilly was in a convienient place, close to all shops, train station etc. The decorations were lovely. Very oink and girly, but charming for te men. I did however find that the hotel was a bit too busy in the evening time, Could hardly hear the conversation t the dinner table. I have recently returned from a 3 day trip with my fiance to Edinburgh, and was fortunate to have chose Tigerlily as our hotel. Tigerlily really couldn't be in a better location - you have everything on your doorstep, shops, bars, restaurants, and the some beautiful attractions. The hotel itself is gorgeous - all pink and sparkly just how i like things […] but with all mod cons that kept my partner happy. Our room was lovely - on the 3rd floor and nice and quiet. It was spacious, had the most comfortable bed ever and the bathroom was superb! The luxuries like the ipod, bath robes and plasma TV were a real treat. The staff at the hotel are wonderful and really know their stuff. They are friendly and very helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant and this too fitted up to the quality which the hotel stands for - a real must.when speaking to taxi drivers etc and having been asked where we are staying, the hotel has a very good reputation. Everyone we spoke to said it was one of, if not the nicest hotel in the city and i would agree, i couldnt fault it. We also went to the hotel nightclub, which considering it was a Tues night was very busy (entry is free if you show your room key) Tigerlily is a brilliant hotel, in a fantastic location and as and when i return to Edinburgh - Tigerlily will be my one and only choice. Deluxe størrelse værelse, lever helt op til vore forventninger og de beskrivelser vi så beskrevet. Hotel med god beliggenhed. Fik morgenmad på værelse til fornuftig pris. Når vi så ikke kommer nærmere en topkarakter, er det p.g.a. det noget ungdommelige klientel i bar og restaurant, underholdt af for høj musak. Tigerlily är ett fantastiskt trevligt hotell med barer och klubb under, hotellet är väldigt uppdaterat och det är svårt att komma hem utan sätta sig i baren. Frukosten är jättebra. Klart ett av det bästa hotellen i Edinburgh och ett av det bästa hotellen jag bott på, har varit där 2 ggr.

Matkailijalle sijainti oli mitä parhain, kaikki oli lähellä. Hotellihuone oli upea kaikkine varusteineen. Aamulla saimme päivän lehden kuten kotona. Palvelu oli sujuvaa ja ystävällistä. Ainoastaan aamiaisjärjestelyt olivat pettymys. Ainoa aamiainen, jonka söimme oli meistä puutteellinen palaneine paahtoleipineen. Kokonaisuus kuitenkin ratkaisee. Olimme […] tyytyväisiä. Mehr
