Wir haben für den Preis mehr erwartet. Die Standartzimmer sind nicht sehr gross und die Wände und Vorhänge hatten Stockflecken. Badezimmer war sauber. Frühstück war o.k. Die Lage ist toll, die Anlage mit Garten, Pool und Wasserfall originell, aber die Zimmer waren sehr schmutzig, Teppich und Tapeten uralt und fleckig und von irgendwo kam immer Küchengeruch. Schade eigentlich!

Hotelanlage mit Swimmingpool sehr schön, Frühstück eher spärlich

Da ich zuvor in ein einem 4* Hotel in Singapore war, hatte ich den direkten Vergleich. War ich mit dem anderen Hotel (Changi Village) gar nicht zufrieden, hat mich dann das Siloso Beach sehr positiv überrascht. Eine sehr gute Lage am schönen Silosostrand, direkt gegenüber dem Wavehouse, zeichnet das Hotel aus. Das Hotel ist zwar teilweise etwas in die […] Jahre gekommen, verfügt aber über eine wunderschöne Pflanzenanlage und einen sehr grossen, tolle und sauberen Swimmingpool. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot Alles was man sich wünschen kann, von frischen Früchten, Müsli, Fruchtsäften, Broten über diverse Eierspeisen wie Rührei, Spiegelei, Omlette...welche direkt frisch zubereitet werden, bis hin zu warmen Speisen wie Chipolata, weissen Bohnen, Kartoffeln. Das Hotel selber weist Spuren von Zerfall auf, wie z.b. leicht schimmlige Ecken oder unanmächelige Teppiche im Aussenbereich. Allerdings ist das kaum zu verhindern, da die Lage doch sehr nah am Meer ist und da das Salz sein Eigenes dazu tut. Der Service im Speiserestaurant war immer sehr flott und man musste nie lange auf das Essen warten. Die Speisekarte ist abwechselnd und bietet auch Europäisches Essen, wie z.b. diverse Spaghettis. Den Pool selber habe ich schon erwähnt, er ist wirklich extrem schön. Beim Pool kann man sich immer frische Tücher nehmen und auch Getränke werden direkt am Pool verkauft. Das Einzige was mich wirklich gestört hat war der Zimmerservice. Als ich kam fand ich noch ein altes Duschtuch vom Vorgänger im Zimmer, mal lag ein alter Waschlappen rum nachdem das Zimmer gemacht wurde, mal war der Kaffee nicht nachgefüllt. Ich habe aber nicht reklamiert, insofern bin ich selber schuld ;) Der Zimmerservice ist übrigens auch hervorragend. Rund um die Uhr können auch warme Speisen bestellt werden und dies zu einem kleinen Aufpreis. This is a new hotel but is poorly maintained. The walls are almost dilapidated, the bathroom grout is moldly, the shower area is very tight even for a petite person, they have a separate tub with water that is amber-color, the towels look like rags, (literally we were given one with holes in them), and the receptionists need to be trained in hotel service […] and reception. We arrived at 2:22pm and were told that check-in doesn't start until 3pm and to come back at that time. Seriously 30mins do matter a lot to them, but in the meantime, they were so quick to put a hold on my amex card for incidentals. I mean we didn't even have a room yet. Anyway, @ 3pm, we found out that the room was actually not ready yet. It would have been better and understandable and professional, if they told us to wait for the room to be ready, instead of telling us at 2:20pm that we have to come back at 3pm for check-in. This is close though to the beach, you just have to cross the street, and there are shuttle/bus stops in front of the cafe which will take you around sentosa and to the tram station to connect to the MRT. If you will take the taxi, this is a long ride. The hotel is close to the area attractions like the skyride, segway and ifly, bars and restaurants along the boardwalk and beach. The reception counter told us we had to wait to check in when we were supposed to check in at 3pm. We went back to check with her at 3.50pm when she was supposed to call us back, then she told us the room was available. The room was dusty and the sofa was mouldy. We had to use disinfectant to clean our room. There was limited choice of food for breakfast. […] One plus point is the swimming pool which is big and does not use chlorine. Mehr

The resort is better than even the more expensive neighboring ones if you are really looking for a resort with a lot of greenaries and with a natural cooling effect. The resort looks very more natural and with very less artificialities. The pool and the waterfall in the pool are really good. We had a nice stay for 3 days. not clean enough for the home services. and it is convenience to other place like underwater world. if the hotel have better maintenance , it would be very good.

room humidity is very high. the wall is sweating and wet & sticky.

the siloso beach hotel in sentosa is a very peaceful the staff were so helpful and the swimming pool was great.the hotel rooms could with some up dating but a wonderful place to stay

The location and pool area are great, But NEVER book this hotel. The room smelled rotten and had a high level of humidity (we had room 212).

Had been wanting to stay at the resort since a few years back. But the rate was actually quite high for a beach resort of its class. Lots of Wao!!! at the first look. Very nice swimming pool. with lots of green. Looks like a separate paradise from the outside world. A look into the room. another wao!... nice room nice Jacuzzi on the roof. But a closer […] look at the hotels does show its problem. Guess they do need some refurbish and attention to details. The outdoor Jacuzzi area have lots of ants and bugs if you bother to just sit and look. Well i understand that its open air, but well a proper maintenance will reduce ants etc. As mention by the previous reviewer, no toothbrush was provided. Its quite amazing considering that they provide a full range of bath items like shower bath etc. They even provide the 2 types of disposable slipper one for room one for beach. Quite they really need to focus on the living details. Breakfast was alright, nothing to shout about. Great location, its just a stone throw from the beach. Its a hotel with great concept, but it does require some attention on the details. Mehr

This is our third time staying in the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The superior room offers basic amenities like shampoo and soap. Would love to have body lotion which was not provided. I thought this hotel would be in poor condition based on the reviews I had read. While it is a bit worn on the edges and in need of renovation, it is clean and comfortable with a nice view. The breakfast is good as well as the room service meals. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The pool looked like a lot of fun with the waterfall, etc., but we did […] not use it. nice stay looking for a peaceful area and cool environment and people as well..beach reastuarans are available..with children they will love this place near to..il come back.....i miis you faith

We love the rainforest and we enjoyed the swimming pool a lot. We love the all you can eat breakfast! It is also close to bars and accessible to restaurants and beach.The only issue was there is a leakage from the faucet in the bathroom sink.

The hotel is beautifully conceptualied with lot of greenery and keeping the natural environment in mind. I particularly loved the artificial waterfall and the pool area. However you are in for a rude surprise when you enter the rooms. The rooms are very very basic and not clean. Everything including the carpet, curtains and bed sheet are stained. In […] fact there was a lizard in the room to welcome us. When we called room service to remove it, they suggested we should take a tissue and put it I the dustbin by ourself. The cafe serves very good food, however, the vegetarian menu is limited. The hotel is located bang opposite he beach. So you can hop straight into the beach and is a 10 minute walk to sentosa beach station. It also has a stop right outside the cafe. This hotel is near to siloso beach and is pretty near to many of the beach activities in the east of Sentosa. If you plan to have activities at Palawan or Tanjong Beach, consider somewhere else. The hotel facilities are pretty run down. We were allocated this room in a dismal condition, with double beds when we requested for a king bed. The reception […] relocated us to a new room on prompting. In the other room, the facilities were just slightly better with no bathrobe. As we were located on the floor beside the pool, it was pretty noisy. This was exacerbated by some repair works in a nearby room where we could hear the incessant knocking, perhaps from a hammer. What really dismayed us was the fact that the reception called us at 10am only to remind us to vacate our room by 12pm sharp. I think that was rather rude to chase customers away like this. Even if that was the intent, it should be disguised as a call to find out how things were and politely say it over the phone. Seriously reconsider even if you have a tight budget on a holiday. There are better places to stay on Sentosa island with the same price you pay Mehr

The hotel has gone very old. For groundnuts they charge cashewnut rates just bcoz they are in sentosa. Rooms decor is very poor. bathrooms ok. but if u go in full season i doubt u might spoil ur holiday if u land up in any of there bad rooms. their toiletries are cheap, towels torn. even though being a beach resort they did't have extra beach towels. […] avoid pay little more and checkin in RESORT world hotels. I never expect to have a luxury ambience in the room within that budget. It was slightly small even I extended 2 more days plus paying extrat to stay on executive floor. Fantastic swimming pool with its bontanic decoration. Simple breakfast never attracts me that I strongly feel that improvement is needed. What impact me most was their hospitality, […] friendly smile and prompt assistance from hotel staff. They are lovely. Plus free internet. What's more you want to get? Location is convenient with provision of shuttle tram. Free express train for you easily reach casino, universal studio etc. Vivo city is just your neighbourhood where you can have all hawker food and nice restaurants. Orchard, Raffles and Suntec are just few MRT stops distance. Bye to nice and sunny Sentosa beach and Siloso. Anyway, we will see soon. Mehr

As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are badly in need of major refurbishment. Walls / Floor was stained and badly scratched. My room stank of stale smoke despite being a non smoking room. Lounge chair provided was draped in towels to cover the stained and worn upholstery. Surprisingly the bathroom was clean and looked as if it might have been […] recently renovated as the mirrors and glass shower walls looked new. We got to see sunset and fireworks frm our bed.. Thanks to the full window view. I enjoyed so much. Even the roof top garden, it's awesome. Thanks for making my new year, an experience one.

Took the tram to Siloso Beach Resort. Was searching for the reception to check-in but couldn't find any reception in the ground level. We only know the reception was located at level 7 upon asking a waiter. Wish there was a sign to inform tourists as we were not the only ones searching for the reception. The hotel room is very well-kept and spacious. […] The breakfast provided was reasonable as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. There seem to be a manager obtaining feedback on the food and services from the guests every morning during my stay. I like the swimming pool with the artificial water fall. The gym is an opened area located near the swimming pool. Noticed that most of the equipment were rusty but that shouldn't come as a surprise as the hotel itself is located near the sea. Hope the hotel management will look into re-locating the gym in a air-conditioned room not only to maintain the equipment but for the safety of the users. A good hotel for leisure. Good location too. The location of this hotel is great-- greatness ends there. Based on the hotel's description, photos and price, I thought I had booked a luxury room at a beautiful resort. Not so. The rooms were dirty, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the rooms fixtures were crooked and hanging off the wall and the room smelled musty. This hotel should be ranked […] only 2 stars. Mehr

This hotel was a great deal-- the location was convenient and quiet (but then we were there mid-week). My 5 yr old LOVED the pool's waterfall and slide and the greenery was fabulous to be around. The free tram stop was out front (though walking was just as easy), that took us to the free monorail, then straight to Universal Studios--Sentosa knows how […] to make things easy! Breakfast offered a nice variety to choose from even if it wasn't the tastiest. Overall we'd definitely come back again--hotel is a bit bare on the amenities..but then, we liked the fact that there would be less waste as a result. Mehr

Good location, room was comfortable and clean. Hotel pool was very nice.

Though i only stayed there for one night, the comfort level there is rather good. the basic necessities are there, and the view was quite good. in general, im rather please with the stay there.

The hotel is unique, with great attention to preserving the environment but it is overdue for renovation. The outside areas, pool in particular, are ok because the tired infrastructure blends with nature, but the rooms themselves are in serious need of renovation. We noticed mould stains in many places and an armchair was covered with a towel to hide […] the upholstery. The only restaurant / cafe is well located near the beach but has a very limited menu. Almost all the above would be forgiveable if the hotel was cheap, but it isn't.. Mehr

They gv me a much better room from my previous stay, sea view on level 7. Room was clean and overall envt was peaceful. But poor amenities except for pool. Pool uses salt water. Gym was outdoor and uninviting, eqpt was rusty. Rooftop gdn not properly maintained. could hv been an ideal place for guests to walk up to watch sea view and sunset. the location is very central and tram train just in front of the hotel but it very confuse to me which the reception counter is at level 7 and hidden in one of the courner of the hotel. the access to the hotel is also not clear guide the tourist or guest .

Reading those comments from the website , I am quite worry before I check in myself. To my surpised the hotel surrounding are well maintaince and clean. Those staffs are very friendly. The feel of staying there like making stay at a natural jungle. The room we stay is very clean.

In regards to location, hotel facilities , Siloso beach resort is a nice and family friendly hotel to stay. But hotel rooms need to be refurbIshed and cleaned properly. Yellowish colour of water leakage on the ceiling, Bed matresses are hard, and remains of sand from nearby beach is all over the floor, especially in the bathroom.

We stayed here because hotels in singapore are pretty expensive. If you can afford to spend more i would say its better to stay elsewhere. It was not a very pleasent experience. Be careful when you ask reception to order you a taxi, when the taxi arrives if you aren't there they will give it to someone else.

This is the worst hotel- the bed sheets were stained, bathroom was dirty! We stayed in a superior room and it was cramped, would not recommend. I had trouble with the in room safe and had to call them 3 times to get it fixed. On the day we arrived my husband was in severe pain due to having a rapptured ear drum from the plane ride. They were not helpful […] at all, I asked them to call a taxi for him to be taken to the hospital asap- It took them 20 minutes to call a taxi!! and my husband left the hotel about an hour later so NOT OK when you're in pain. The following day, he had to go to a specialist clinic- again the same happened, with receptionist serving others and not calling a taxi, in the end he walked down the road to get a taxi- Unbelievable! They charge you $30 a night extra for a DVD player. Breakfast was average at best. Room service was VERY expensive at $80++ for 3 basic meals!! drinks equally very expensive and service terrible. the other couple we were with was given two single beds and an even smaller room, despite their booking specifying it was for a double bed. Very disappointed with hotel and its staff. The only good thing was the pool, which was nice. Never again! would not recommend to anyone. Mehr

Very eco-friendly with plants, squirrels, birds, and of course, the expected bugs here and there. Great location near beaches that had great sand but mediocre waters, and very good tram/transport choices to get around. Pool was wonderful! Breakfast was decent with yummy egg station and freshly baked croissants! The color scheme in the resort, from the […] walls to the floor is way too dark, and it ruins the atmosphere. I would highly recommend bright/white colors for walls and floor in Level 1, elevator areas and brighter lighting too. Great job on waterfall design and preservation of natural flora and fauna! I was expecting availabilities of some toiletries basic items such as Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Shampoo were not found. Luckily my wife brought her own, but I did not. as I argued that such items would be available. I requested a Queen Sized Bed for us but was checked in with Single double bed instead. I did checked reviews b4 booking, so nothing really surprised me- great value for money spent and in very middle of all Sentosa activities and convenient for Singapore exploring right from beach resort. Best of hotel is superb rainforest pool area, breakfast buffet with usual offers of eggs, sausages, and some asian cousine variations. Rooms and interior […] is crying for some renovation works as lot areas are showing signs of considerable worn. Anyway still recommend this place for not overdemanding people who need a decent place to spend time while S-pore and Sentosa activities are closed. Mehr
