Das Hotel liegt günstig im Financial-District von Providence. Direkt am Hotel verläuft der Independant-Trial (ein Stadtrundgang durch Providence, entlang der meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten; einfach der grünen Linie folgen). Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Personal freundlich. Gutes Frühstück. Parken durch Hotel kostet $25, im Parkhaus nebenan nur $20.

Wir hatten das Hotel zunächst nur für eine Nacht gebucht, waren aber so zufrieden und auch angetan von der Umgebung, dass wir gleich noch eine Nacht verlängert haben, was problemlos ging. Gerne wieder und unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

The room was missing it's refrigerator. The fan in the bathroom did not work so it didn't remove any steam from the shower. When I turned on the tap in the bathroom sink the water came out BROWN! I had to let the water run for it to clear up. Needless to say I didn't drink it and was a bit leary about taking a shower. There's a Hampton Inn next store. "Fairfield Inn & Suites - Nice Overall"
Like the breakfast set up in AM. Pool was heavy on chlorine. Had nice facilities. Convenient with WalMart so close. Side door entrance was not working with keycatd, but no major deal. Was good location & staff was very nice.

"A happy stay"
We had a wonderful trip beginning to Rhode Island. This hotel was a great choice, especially family travel. Even though, you'd better drive your own vehicle to come, and you will fell perfect.
A very frustrating experience - from the time I called for help with directions and got put on hold for over 5 minutes and then dropped into a voice mail box of someone I never asked to speak to...to front desk personnel who were both trainees. For one of them, english was clearly not his first language and I had to ask him to speak more slowly and […] clearly and then having a difficult time at check-in because I wanted to give a cash deposit toward any incidentals rather than handing over a credit card...something the website indicates is an option. [ I have had prior experiences with Marriotts of it taking almost a month to get "deposits" credited back to me'...when I have already paid for the room booking on line]. Then, to the trainees not knowing the property well enough to tell me where I could find an ice machine. While the room was clean there were no glasses or cups for the coffee machine and no cream for coffee - no points for their housekeeping department. I am surprised Marriott is willing to have their name on this hotel given the experiences I had. I would not stay here again and will actively encourage others not to as well. Mehr
"Exactly what we needed"
My wife and 2 kids just needed a place to stay for the night while visiting family locally. The kids enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We opted not to have the complementary breakfast, but the spread looked good. We went across the street to Denny's.

I have stayed twice in this hotel. Both times the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very accommodating regarding extra linens. The breakfast was very tasty. They kept replenishing everything so that you had a good variety of foods to choose from and enjoy.

my children were disappointed because the indoor pool was closed, the hotel reception said that it might be opened first thing in the morning, but we were disappointed again - why would the hotel close the pool for cleaning on a weekend?

"Nice Hotel"
For the money this hotel was very nice. Extremely clean and comfortable. My only gripe is that it was a little hard to find. It is tucked away behind a home depot and other stores and hard to see from the main road. I would definitely recommend staying here though. Waffle and waffle iron were a plus in the morning.

The hotel is always clean and the staff goes out of their way to help you. If you are looking for a hotel which is always perfectly clean-this is the best choice around. I have stayed here 3 times and due to the cleanliness and the well stocked continental breakfast, I'd choose no other hotel. I seem to always be disappointed in the lack of pool towels […] but I still wouldn't pick a different hotel because I know I will always feel comfortable in uch a well maintained hotel. Mehr
