Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 9. Okt. 2011Das Motel liegt im schönen Sandwich, mit malerischem Dorfzentrum und schönem Strand. Wer über kein Auto verfügt wird es schwer haben, da es keine öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung gibt und an der 6A auch keine Gehsteige. Ansonsten liegt die Lodge sehr praktisch direkt gegenüber von Supermarkt, Post und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hafens und des Cape Cod Kanals. Es verfügt über einen Innen- und Außenpool, ausreichend Parkplätze und schöner Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und groß, aber durch die Klimaanlage und alten Teppich auch etwas muffig. Generell war alles älteren Baujahres und entsprechend abgenutzt, aber sauber.

Bewertet von S aus "Berlin" am 18. Sep. 2011Das Hotel, welches ursprünglich als Kirche diente, ist sehr stilvoll und im Charme Neuenglands eingerichtet. Hervorzuheben ist das leckere Frühstück und der nette Service. Die Zimmer - auch im Nebengebäude - sind sehr unterschiedlich ausgestattet und verfügen über alles, was es zu einem erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Schon die Veranda lädt zum Entspannen ein ... Natürlich gibt es hier und da Dinge, die im Haus renovierungsbedürftig sind, aber für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel ist es absolut überdurchschnittlich. Der Ort Sandwich ist ein echtes Cape-Cod-Kleinstadt-Idyll. Wir würden wiederkommen ;-)

"Das Hotel Hampton Inn in Plymouth bei Boston"
Ausserhalb des Ortes bei einem Einkaufszentrum, jedoch keine Lärmbeeinträchtigung. Wenn jemand Wert auf Frühstück legt, sollte er ein anderes Hotel suchen. Kaffee ungeniesbar, der Rest - Toast wobei ein Toaster für 4 Scheiben für alle Gäste dadurch sehr lange Wartezeiten. Beilagen: Marmelade, Philadelphia-Käse, Butter,. Beagles, Muffins(nicht jeden […] Tag). 1 Waffelgerät für alle, dazu Sirup und sowas wie Sahne. Nach unserer Vorstellung besser auswärts frühstücken. Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. "Nice but Not Great"
The hotel was perfectly suitable for the wedding we were attending at Bourndale. The price was right and it was close enough to where we needed to get to. The staff was very helpful and everything was clean upon arrival. The only negative was the cleaning staff's inconsistency in the room cleaning times. One day they arrived at 9:30am trying to clean […] the room and because we weren't out they didn't clean it at all that day. Wonderful hotel with a great location. Within walking distance to Colony Place shopping center, quick drive to downtown Plymouth and Plymouth rock and museums. Clean rooms and common areas. The room was very clean and well-appointed, However, the hotel was under major renovations, with the total foyer stripped to bare bones (unknown to us at booking). We could have managed that, but, having brought toddlers to enjoy the pool, we were incensed when we could not use the pool at opening time in the morning due to poor chemical readings and […] we were told, by an indifferent desk clerk, that the next pool test would not be until11:30 a.m. (checkout at noon!!!!). Everyone staying there had taken their children to the hotel for an overnight pool treat, and there was no attempt to maintain the pool to allow them to access it. We will not be back! "Nice pet-friendly port in a storm"
Having spent 3 days with 3 small dogs and 2 cats with no electricity in the aftermath of the recent blizzard, we decided enough and went in search of a safe haven for all of us. We found it at the Hampton Inn in Plymouth. Steve at the front desk hardly blinked at bringing 5 pets to the Inn (especially after he learned their total combined weight is […] 65 pounds; the size of an average Lab). The room was perfect. The inn has a Bertucci's and a Chili's next door to make dining easy. The only thing I found annoying is the construction crew working on the renovations to the lobby would take over the breakfast room each morning and eat all the good muffins). This was a great choice for our family! We have never been to Plymouth before and came to see the Plantation and the Mayflower II. The first evening we arrived, we took the shuttle in town and learned a lot including a great restaurant recommendation from our driver. The rooms were very clean and a nice size. The bathroom had a granite standing counter and awesome sandstone-like tile on the floor. Loved the white comforter and nice bed! "Another good Hampton Inn"
Most important of all, the hotel was clean, and well-kept. Staff members that we came in touch with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, and replenished as needed. "Unhappy in The Hampton Inn Suits!!"
My stay was very nice.. However: i contacted the hotel prior to arriving to try and get a non smoking room..To my surprise no one wanted to hear what i had to say, I was hung up on , talked over so i couldn't get a word in and was very unhappy with the reception i recieved upon arrriving.. When a room became available, the hotel never offered to move […] us.. I found the staff rude and i feel they need training in customer service.. "Things we liked"
We brought a dog with us. When we go South for the winter, the Hampton Inns do not allow dogs; big mistake. We certainly would go to a Hampton Inn. I loved the fact that the coverlet was washed for each new guest. Really important if you allow dogs. The room was large and stylish - we felt at home after a long day of driving. "Always a good place to stay."
We stayed three nights. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Coffee maker in room didn't work and it never got replaced. I told them about it when we were leaving and they were apologetic and they gave a credit on the bill.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
