- Die Lage des Hotels ist super: Nur 5 Gehminuten von der Metro Station Asakusa enfernt. das hotel ist vom preis her ok, im gegensatz z anderen in tokyo. der service ist auch ok. und die lage finde ist sehr gut. auch das personal ist freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. die zimmer schon schon etwas älter, aber man verbringt seines urlaub ja nicht im hotel. freies internet in jedem zimmer und außerdem zwei computer und ein drucker in der lobby […] und nützliche informationen. sehr empfehlenswert!!! Me and my boyfriend were visiting tokio and we found the hotel fast, as it is in a good location and on the main road good to find. the staff is friendly and helpful with all questions. in the entry room you'll find a lot of helpful brochures for visiting tokyo. the rooms are tiny and absolutely adequate as we just want to sleep in at night. the beds […] and the toilets are clean and a little fridge and water boiler helps living. we havent had a good view from our window, as we had a wall in front, but it was ok, even if the window was open we havent heard the sound of the street. all in all we were really pleased and happy to find a hotel with such a good connection and location. Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen mit der Metro. Die Zimmer reichen für zwei Personen mit Gepäck nur sehr knapp. Platz für Gepäck besteht praktisch nicht. Für diesen Preis findet sich aber wohl in Tokyo kein deutlich grösseres Hotel. Ansonsten ist es so, wie die meisten Business-Hotels in Japan. In der unmittelbaren Nähe des Hotels gibt es zwar keine Restaurants, aber in Gehdiszanz von 5-10 Minuten finden sich unzählige Japanische Restaurants. Ebenfalls hats ein kleiner Supermarkt gleich in der Nähe. Grundsätzlich sehr zu empfehlen, wer ein grosses Zimmer benötigt sollte jedoch eine teurere Alterantive wählen. Mehr

Hotel very clean and staff was very helpful

This hotel is in an extremely convenient location, only about 5 minutes from the nearest subway (Toei Asakusa Line), within about 30 minutes by train to most of the larger areas of Tokyo, and within an easy walk to Sensoji, views of Tokyo Sky Tree, and other sights of Asakusa. The price was fantastic (half the price of many single-person rooms in similar […] hotels), and there's no loss of quality or service. The room was fairly standard sized for the class of hotel (business hotel), but the bed was very comfortable and it has everything that you need for a few nights of good sleep. Also, many of the staff speak English, for those who don't have any Japanese ability This is my 2nd stay with Chisun in Japan, and I would highly recommend them for any traveler who is looking for a good and comfortable individual room at a bargain price. Good clean hotel very close to walk to different tourist spots. If we could improve it, room a little larger and more english speaking clerks. But we do not spend much time in our room and we had some goodwill guides which got our directions.

Great hotel. It's near tourist attractions like Senso-ji and the relatively recent Tokyo Sky Tree, and only a few minutes walk from the Toei Asakusa, and Tokyo Metro Ginza and Oedo subway lines. However it is about 30 minutes by public transit to the other side of central Tokyo so check out some maps before your stay if you are planning on being in […] a certain area most of the time. First night we had a smoker's room as it was the only room available. I guess I shouldn't complain on a smokers' room being smokey. But yikes! I've been staying in smokers' rooms before but never got any headache. Before now that is. (I guess this could happen to any smoker's room at any hotel.) Next day we got a nice non smokers room. If you want to hang out in Shibuya, Shinjuku or Roppongi after midnight (when the subway closes for the day) you should know taxi fares will be quite high (around 3000–4000 yen). Walking is not an option. On the other side, if you stay out all night some subway traffic is resumed around 4:30 am. Wired internet is available on the room and wireless wi-fi is available in the lobby. Mehr

The rooms were clean, and the rates were affordable. The only setback is the location is not as convenient. But can't complain for the price we pay.

So the room was very small but clean and well kept. I just needed a place to sleep and shower and that is about all I could do in the room I had. The staff was friendly and I had no issues. Works just fine for somebody who needs a place for a night or two as they are passing through the area.

This is a good hotel although the rooms are small however the location is excellent.

Chinsun Inn is a nice little hotel. My room was maybe a quarter the size of my bedroom back home but it had its own TV, bathroom/shower, desk and bed. Its enough room for two people at least. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Housekeeping came in to clean my room daily of no charge. They also had washing/drying machines which came in handy. […] Internet is available in the lobby or in the rooms, you could also rent a laptop for $10 a night. The only bad thing I would say is that my air conditioning didn't work but I didn't bother mentioning it. Opening the windows kept me cool enough. Overall it was a nice hotel and I would book there again if I ever find myself in Asakusa. Mehr

I stayed 4 night in June. The hotel was close to a couple of subway stations (Asakusa and Kuramae, I thought). From there you could go straight to Shibuya, and Ginza, and of course to other major places like Shinjuku with only one transit. The neighborhood was quiet and safe at night. It's close to Sumida River, and the view from a bridge over the river […] is nice (you can see the Sky Tree, too). The workers at the hotel were always so polite and pleasant that when I moved to a different hotel after this I missed this hotel. Mehr

Overall a good experience, better than Toyoko Inn, maybe the room is a bit smaller. Service is good and most of the people can speak English, quite good in fact.

Love this little place, the rooms are clean but they provide everything - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, robes and slippers, computers in the lobby with free printing. Staff are friendly and beds are comfortable.

I just returned from and 8 night stay. Despite the terrible earthquake and aftermath, the staff and hotel was excellent. I was solo and the room was small but extremely efficient, including private bath, tea and tea maker, built it clock w/alarm,and refrigerator. Free computer with printer in lobby. Staff was calm and helpful after quake. Area has many […] restaurants, but little night life. ( ok w/ me ) Pretty temple/pagoda/statues nearby. Ueno park with lots of options a nice 25 minute walk. Everything else a short subway ride away. I wish the best to the nice people of Japan, hope to go back one day, and would stay 100% with Chisun Inn again. Mehr

It's one of the least well maintained hotels for my entire 2 weeks stay in Japan. However, for the amount that we paid for I wouldn't complain too much. The hotel is close to 2 subway lines (Asakusa and Ginza if I remember correctly) but because of that there were confusions as to which station/subway exits to take. Perfect place for the lone traveler. Easy, friendly staff, will go out of the way to help you. Affordable rates, and very very clean and well-kept rooms. The location was in a nice district of the city... Asakusa. Near landmarks, and convenient for traveling the Subway and Metro lines. I felt safe, clean, and comfortable. This place is a great place to stay in Tokyo. Its walking distance to nearby temples, restaurants and parks. The one concern is that the single room is truly for a single person. Very small but immaculate. Highly recommend for a quick stay.

This hotel was chosen mainly for price and location. It is a few blocks from the Ueno to Asakusa subway. We had stayed here 4 years ago and all was as expected. Room was very small, but this is the norm for a business hotel. It was clean and met our sleeping needs. Bed was hard, and we had to ask for the air conditioning to be checked twice as it was […] hot and stuffy upon arrival and air conditioner wasn't working. It seems the whole floor was not working and they had to reset it centrally. We went out for supper and it was comfortable a few hours later. Mehr

Small room - but ok for a few days stay. Clean and tidy. Only problem was that the room previously had been used by smoker(s). The smell was noticable. Very friendly staff - with limited english capability. Overall ok for the money!

The only downside is the late check-in time (3pm) but they did let me come an hour earlier which was nice. I did laundry for just $2 usd. It is super close to the subway and in a semi-quiet neighborhood so I was very pleased overall. The bed was more comfy than other hotels I stayed at in Japan. Free internet as well.

Close to the subway stations , with Ginza & Asakusa major train line easy access which is great in case you get lost in Tokyo, just look for the Asakusa station on the map... Very quiet location without the train track noise outside your room window. Close to the stations without the noise which is Great!

Rooms in this hotel are extremely small, probably 1/3 the size of the rooms in the US hotels. At the same time they are comfortable and even have refrigerator and TV. If you plan to walk around the city and only come to the room to sleep-then the room will be fine for you. It is so small that I would not want to spend extended period of time in it.

Nice hotel but the main disappointment was the size of the room there was barely room to put your case on the ground and pack. No rooms with 2 beds available.

Grei standard, men liten seng i et trangt rom.

우에노, 아사쿠사 구경하기 위해서 머문 호텔이었는데요. 한 가지 흠이 있다면, 역과 거리가 꽤 멀었어요. ㅎㅎ 걸어서 20분정도? 깔끔하고 좋았습니다. 가격 대비 서비스도 만족했구요. 감사합니다. ^^

良かった点 1、銀座線、浅草線、大江戸線に歩いて5分ほどと近く、アクセス良好。コンビニも近いし、雷門まで徒歩10分かかりません。 2、部屋は狭いですが雰囲気は良かったです。窓の外はビルなので景色は何も無いです。1つ目の部屋は問題なく、2つ目の部屋はシャワーの頭の黒ずみとカーテンの生乾き臭さが気になりました。 3、同じ階に海外からの5、6人と思われる集団客がおり夜中までうるさかったのでフロントに相談すると、その客達に直接注意したのち空きがあるという事で翌日別の部屋を用意してもらえました。 4、チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってもらえたのも助かりました。 5、部屋のテレビは新しいものだし、ポットと冷蔵庫が有るのも助かりました。ネットも有線LANがあり、不自由しませんでした。 悪かった点  […] 1、廊下の騒音が聴こえ、自分の部屋の音も外へ漏れ易かったようです。普通に利用する上では気にならない程度ですし、よほど騒がない限り全く問題ないですが。 2、1室目では前の利用客のデオドラントの匂いが強烈に残っており不愉快でした。 3、2つ目の部屋で、シャワーヘッドの黒ずみ汚れと、バスルーム照明が暗めの蛍光灯であったのが気になりました。 4、悪いとまではいえませんが、男性スタッフが女性スタッフに比べ対応が素っ気なく感じました。 5、他のビジネスホテルでは郵送物があったときはメモ書きをドア下に残してくれたのですが、このホテルでは有りませんでしたので、改善してもらえるといいです。 総合して 私は部屋は広さより雰囲気と清潔感を重要視するのですが、気持ちよく過ごせました。サービス面では海外の同価格帯のホテルからは想像つかない良質の対応だと思います。交通のアクセスも良く周辺は騒々しくも無いので、今後も利用したいと考えます。 Mehr
