Hotel Palacio Azteca - Tijuana

Loved the hotel. Such a good price for the cleanliness/service/over all look. I very much recommend this hotel. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The only downside was the pool not working

The shower head had little water pressure and only released cold water. The room was clean but felt like an old holiday inn. The parking situation is weird since they park your vehicle for you & exchange a ticket for your car keys (trust issue). the best part has to be that the hotel was fairly inexpensive. i'm not sure if i'd visit again.

iTS WAS GOOD EXCEPT THE BEDS WERE HARD. AND THE BATHROOM VENT WAS NOT WORKING. THE POOL WAS OUT OF SERVICE SO THAT WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR MY DAUGHTER...

I have been staying at this hotel for ten years now. I will not stay anywhere else. Rooms are great amenities ,staff. Just a short walk away across the st to an awesome authentic mexican restaurant.

Excellent friendly helpful staff. Love the buffet great food and prices. Also willing to please the guest I was booked for two separate rooms asked for joining rooms and they said no problem we'll find one for you.

They have a great service, good food. Rooms clean. We had a pleasant time. Can't wait to go back.

we stayed here for only one night. Really clean hotel. Beds are comfortable. staff is friendly and ready to help in anything they can Free shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

I like the hotel. The lobby is nice and the buffet in the restaurant is excellent. But.. the pool was closed.. and the rooms on the far side of the building get an extreme amount of street noise at rush hour. It is impossible to sleep late. The room was otherwise quite comfortable and immaculately clean. neighborhood is boring and there is no place […] to walk to. Mehr

About the hotel: Very comfortable. Very clean. Very friendly. We asked for a fridge and actually had one brought to our room. The only issue we had was that the car valet guy always adjusted everything in the car including seats and the rear view mirror and finally he broke my rear view mirror !!! This hotel has been remodeled and the management is keeping it very clean - I have stayed in most hotels in Tijuana and this is probably the cleanest and safest there is.

We stay at this hotel when flying out of TIJ. As mentioned in numerous other reviews, this is the hotel used by Volaris flight staff. We feel safe, secure and well taken care of at this hotel. We feel comfortable bringing our children with us to this hotel. The hotel rivals any mid level to lower high level hotel in the US at the cost of a budget hotel. […] The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle to the airport. We ordered room service this time and were satisfied with the service and quality. Although it is very hard to rival the outstanding 24 hour Comida across the street. We highly recommend this hotel. I recomend this Hotel because it"s cheap and very clean. I stayed 3 nights and was satisfy with room and has great service everyone had a great attitude. Definitely worth it! and close to border.

At the discounted Hotels.com rate, this is the best luxury deal in Tijuana. It's safe, nice, comfortable, clean... a good value.

Very nice hotel for price, clean comfortable with attentive staff. English spoken. Only weakness is as tourist, was most interested in Centro, and it is not really within walking distance, but cheap cabs readily available (5$).

i really enjoy my stay at this hotel when i first came i was very impressed all these bad things you here bout Tj much less the hotels well i believe people were wrong my stay was quit pleasant the staff were great helpful the rooms were decent i would defiantly stay their again thank you Mary alas

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The hotel is very clean and also very modern. Hotel service was great room was very clean and staff was very professional. My boyfriend and I ordered room service from the restaurant and that was great too. We only had one issue and that is due to an accident that knocked a electrical pole down there was no electricity […] for about an hour. I will def come back to this hotel. The hotel is near a stunning 24h a day family restaurant worth the visit. Nice rooms, nice hotel but on a very noisy street with single pane windows. Try to get a room in the backside of the hotel. Good value! Get the breakfast when you are there, do not buy before... much better deal.

One of the best values in the area.

As a whole, I am satisfied with this hotel regarding price, surroundings, and service. I recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Spent 2 nights while my son ha Lasik surgery. He travels and is used to 4 and 5 star hotels in USA. He said it was comparable. Price was one forth what he pays in USA. Service was excellent. Breakfast buffet great at reasonable price. Returning next week with my fiance for a lovers getaway.

By far the best value for the money. The hotel is very very clean, very comfortable, very quiet and have a very attentive and friendly staff. Check in and check out were fast and efficient.

i had trouble with the room tempreature. i requested tech support for the ac to work properly and they did come to check the problem but they were not able to fix it, therefore they told me to open the window! i was shocked with that response. i had a hot and stuffy stay.

The hotel was suitably located from the downtown. It was perfectly clean. Loved the food at its restaurant. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel was very nice, secure, and not to far from many downtown attractions. There was a pretty good restaurant open 24 hours across the street. Getting around town was no problem because the red taxis will take you around town for under a dollar. The room was pretty good, nothing spectacular but not bad either. The bathroom was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. At the price I got it for on Hotels.com... it was an amazing bargain! Even for Tijuana (where many hotels are bargain priced). The english speaking service was great, everything felt like a 5-star place. Of course the neighborhood is still Tijuana but I felt quite safe. The shower water ran cold […] after awhile in the morning. The room service menu was very low priced, the service was fast, and the food was excellent. I'm definitely going to stay here again. Mehr

First Review in my life......Stayed for 7 nights at this place. rooms are good, the restraunt has a brunch buffet which is good for a vegetarial like me....the lady restraunt manager was very polite and courteous, the front desk ladies need to learn a little more courtesy, some of the room service waiters are not corteous as well. without expending a fortune for a night I definitely recommend this place, not far from one of the main shopping malls and movie theaters. restaurant serves a very good breakfast buffet :)

Service was very good except for 2 inexperienced young men who were not always at the desk. The rooms are fine and the showers are great! The breakfast is EXCELLENT. I would say, without a doubt ,that this is one of the very best deals in Mexico City.We like to be close to the Zocalo and it was in walking distance

We use this hotel when we fly out of TIJ airport. The service, cleanliness, and quality is first rate. On the other side of the border you would get a cruddy budget hotel for similar price. There is also a excellent 24 hour mexican home cooking restaurant kitty corner across the street for those who are not big on hotel food. Well worth the trip across […] the border. This was my second time in Tijuana. I would have to say that I paid half of what I paid earlier and got almost the same service. I will definitely go back to this hotel if I visit Tijuana again. Friendly hotel staff, Restaurant staff, front desk staff, and also even their cab drivers we very polite. I did not try the buffet breakfast. it was too overwhelming, […] rather I ordered american style pancakes and eggs which the chef custom made for me. Overall experience, I would give 8/10. We used this hotel for a one night stay before flying out from the Tijuana airport. We found the hotel very nice with helpful bilingual staff and a airport shuttle able to deliver us to the airport for our morning flight. The rooms were clean, good sized, and nicely decorated with lots of use of travertine tile. Probably the best value I have ever had […] in any hotel stay. On the con side the pool plaster was in need for repair and the pool seemed to be unheated. The beds were a bit on the hard side by US standard but I found them to be comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. We have recommended this hotel to others and will be staying there again in the future. There are also several good restaurants within walking distance as well as a pharmacy and grocery store. Mehr
