Stayed here for work. Looks to be a newer hotel that is well kept. I would stay here again

We stayed at the Wingate over the Christmas holiday. The room was comfortable and clean. I researched many hotels in the area for our visit with family and just as I expected from other reviews, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

This the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time the ice machines on every floor were broken. The same thing happened this time. We had to wait 5 or 6 minutes for the water to get hot. There is no nightstand on both sides of the bed. Tv lsting provide was not accurate. Very nice room, terrific breakfast and helpful staff. Draft beer for $1.50 in lobby hit the spot after a long day of work; nice touch. Will book here again on my next trip to Louisville.

Hotel is well kept and new. Rooms are nice and roomy. Lobby is very nice and clean. Staff is very nice. Free breakfast. Location not too bad right off freeway and restaurants nearby. Only issue I had was no movie rental/on demand available.

CLEAN, NICE, NEW, BEDS ARE A LITTLE FIRM. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I STAYED HERE. MY WIFE AND I AGREE WE WILL RETURN.

First of all, the staff member I dealt with was not American and could not communicate with me. Next, there was no top sheet on the bed; followed by the air conditioner not working properly. To top it all off, the tub did not drain well and I had to stand in ankle deep water to shower!! Disgusting. I would definitely stay at Wingate by Wyndham in Louisville, KY again. Great price, great breakfast, clean rooms and new. Staff was courteous. I could not complain about anything. Will stay again most definitely.

My daughter and I were in town for a soccer tournament and were well-pleased with the hotel. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool. We plan on staying again for next month's soccer tournament.

We found the Wingate Hotel in Louisville KY to be a great value. Family friendly, complimentary, free full breakfast, clean and excellent service. The pool was closed to be repainted, but the staff made arrangements for guests to use the pool at a hotel next door. We found that to be very accomodating.

We were there three nights but were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed for repair. We had chosen the hotel because of these amenities. Had we known in advance, we would have gone elsewhere. Everything else was great.

We stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Louisville with two 11 year old boys :) It was a litle far from the downtown museums and attractions but was a nice hotel. We travel to Lousiville several times each year to visit fmaily. Over the last several years we have stayed at close to a dozen differnet hotels. This was our first stay at this Wingate (we have stayed with the same hotel chain in other states). The staff were great and the breakfast was one of if not the best at any hotel I have stayed in. The hotel filled the basic need for a clean room but was not special. The bed was too hard for our comfort and the light in the parking lot was very bright, lighting up the room all night. Various hotel noises could only be drowned out by leaving the fan on. The people were friendly and the hotel was clean and in a decent area. No reason not to stay […] there if the price is good. This was our second time staying here and it was every bit as good as our first. Everything was very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past, clean facilities, courteous staff - pleasant stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable and the entire hotel atmosphere was very pleasant. For the price we paid we were 150% satisfied.

I stayed here for four nights over the holiday break and ended up switching rooms three times. The staff at the desk was very friendly and courteous at check-in. All the room were comfortable enough and definitely clean. The problem with the first room occurred the first night of my visit - the water pressure in the shower was terrible and the water […] never got hot. Additionally, the walls are extremely thin, so I could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to mine as well as the sound of screaming children. I complained to the front desk and they immediately moved me to a room in a different part of the hotel. This room was great (better water pressure, hot water), but the last night of my stay I had to be moved again because once again, I could hear the conversations of my neighbors through the wall as well as screaming children in the room next to mine. Again, the front desk was happy to move me into a different room that was definitely less noisy (no conversations or kids screaming). Pluses: Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, a lot of space, good Internet access, close to the Interstate and restaurants Minuses: Thin walls, iffy water pressure/heat in one of the rooms, cheap and bleachy-smelling towels Mehr

Nice stay, friendly people, clean and fresh!! Will stay again.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean!!! We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and loved having an indoor pool - although the pool was freezing but the hot tub made up for it! We had a very pleasant stay and will gladly return.

When staying at the hotel I found it to be very well kept outside, and clean inside the lobby, as well as a very clean room. The front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. We will be staying here again in the future as we stay in Louisville a few times each year.

We stayed three nights while visiting relatives nearby who did not have enough room for all of us who were visiting, so we spent very little time at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was new looking, clean, and comfortable, and the rates were inexpensive. We'd consider it again if visiting these same relatives.

First time at this property or chain. Was pleasantly surprised and would most definitely return. Everything was perfect.

Had a great stay. Staff extremely cordial.

Very nice hotel in a very nice area of town, comfortable rooms and the breakfast was very good.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We were so pleased with everything from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff were extremely friendly this time! The room was super comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we are in Louisville! Loved it!

We were so pleased with this hotel - until I became very ill during the night and my husband attempted to get the night supv to assist by finding bread/crackers/something to help settle my stomach... he was obnoxious and rude instead of being helpful. We stopped here on the way to visit family. Hotel was immaculate and very new. Neighborhood is basically brand new, other hotels, no view or anything special. Fresh cookies and beer on tap are nice touches that go the extra mile. Breakfast buffet is also a notch above what is offered at other hotels--fruit is actually fresh and doesn't taste like it […] came out of a can last week--yogurt of high quality--nice selection of other foods. MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED AT THE WINGATE HOTEL OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 1ST TO ATTEND A CONVENTION. tHIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. Classy place. Staff was very helpful.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very helpful. One complain the beds were very hard. I had to sleep on the pillow.

Just looking for a bed for the night. Easy quick check in and out. Close to highway. Restaurants close by. Excellent breakfast included. Clean pool area and deck. Nice and quiet.
