Great value and service. Stayed for a Jimmy Buffett concert. Close to the Fairgounds, staff was very helpful, room was better than expected, breakfast was over the top. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

I had stayed here before and enjoyed the breakfast and the pleasant setting as well as the suite and its comforting decor. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to the great breakfast they were also serving dinner!!!. NOT AS CLEAN THIS TIME AS IT WAS LAST YEAR. MAYBE BECAUSE OF HOLIDAY WEEKEND.. BUT STILL A LOT CLEANER THAN MOST MOTELS.........AS BEFORE, THE STAFF WAS GREAT! THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE MAN SERVING BREAKFAST DID NOT ALLOW OUR SERVICE DOG IN...MADE THINGS A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE. The first few days of our stay were exceptional! The manager's special was great, the breakfast the first 2 days was great and our room was serviced. I would've recommended the hotel but maybe because of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, there must've been a staff shortage or something. The third morning we went down to eat breakfast at 9:50 am just […] like we had the previous 2 days but there were no eggs, no meat and no potatoes. The man working in the kitchen said that he was all out and that the breakfast was over at 10. Another female staff said that due to the large numbers of kids and families, they had run out. I explained that I had eaten two previous days at 9:50 with plenty of food and finally the gentleman said that if I could wait 18 minutes, that he would get more sausage out. He did put out more eggs, sausages and potatoes for which we thanked him profusely. We then went up to our room. The cleaning stopped in about 11 am and I asked her to come in 30 minutes, we were going to be gone for the rest of the day. On our way out of the hotel, we also asked the front desk lady to let the cleaning staff know that they could clean room 420. We saw her write something down. When we arrived at our room at 11:30 pm, it had not been cleaned. My husband took our durty towels down to the front desk where Tina was on duty. She later brought up fresh towels and toiletries. My husband also called for a wake up call on Sunday morning which he never got. So service went from bad to worse. We usually stay at the Embassy Suites next door and I will be going back to them insteasd of the Homewood Suites. Oh, a manager was supposed to call me about the lack of service but I never got a call. Mehr

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE

GREAT ROOM, GREAT STAFF, GREAT PRICE, NOT ANY BETTER THAN THIS.

Good location as a first night crash point after a long flight. Great staff at check in and what a surprise to find a free buffet dinner complete with wine and beer - perfect. The breakfast was also good and the rooms were more than adequate (bedroon, bathroom, lounge and kitchen).

OK, I guess I was expecting more after reading all the glorious reviews and 100% recommendations. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in, the room was very nice, clean and quiet, however being advertised as suites, I felt that the room was somewhat smallish. VERY tight kitchen, it's basically an average sized hotel room converted to a studio […] like apartment. As for the morning breakfast, yes it's very good but being saturday morning, it was very crowded and they were constantly running out of everything (especially the eggs and waffle mix, yes they would restock but there was a looooong wait for that, and if you were'nt standing there, the eggs would run out before you got back. Overall the stay was nice and the price was good for the quality of the hotel, we only stayed one night (friday) so it's possible that they were understaffed that morning for breakfast. The area was good also, there are alot of close by restaurants and shopping (nothing in walking distance though), great stop over before a cruise, only about 15 minutes from the port! Mehr

Everything was great exept for the fact that I requested a crib for my 7mon old when I made the reservation, I got to the hotel, checked in & the receptionist told me she didnt think the crib was in the room yet but she would make sure it was there soon. I left w my fam to an activity, didnt get back til midnight & the crib was still not there. The […] night receptionist got an attitude when I called asking for it. Ugh. Mehr

We only stayed one night, wish we could have stayed more. Complimentary bag of microwave popcorn was a great idea, so simple yet I have never seen it done before. Awesome hot breakfast buffett in the morning. Will definately stay here again.

Hotel was nice as all other Homewoods I have stayed in. The location was a little of the beaten path...no close restaurants and not close to town. There was a lovely walking path down Falkenburg. Seems like the area is being developed and will probably have more to offer in the future

Impressed that we were called after checkin to make sure the room was as we expected. A blanket for the cold night instead of the heavy comforter would have been nice. Breakfast was great. Disturbed to see guest taking large takeouts after eating breakfast.

This place was fantastic and very reasonable rates. Free breakfast, room was big with a full kitchen...I would absolutely stay there again.

Very few Hotels have impressed us like this. Our family had many good things to say about the Staff, the Room and Breakfast. We usually travel with no less than 5 or 6 people and it was hard to find a Hotel in the Tampa vasinity that would accommodate us. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa-Brandon is a place we would gladly suggest to our family and […] friends. The hotel was everything we were told it was. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very professional staff and were there to help. The surrounding area was quiet and nicely laid out. One of the best perks was breakfast. We will diffidently stay here on our next visit to Tampa.

Both receptionists I met were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere at the hotel is familie friendly. Children are very welcome and the breakfast table much, much more than expected. we. My husband and I, we enjoyed our stay. Two Thumbs up!

We stayed there for 5 nights with family that came in from out of town and it was wonderful. From the wonderful breakfast buffet first thing in the morning to the big comfy beds at the end of the night none of us wanted to leave. The staff was wonderful. I have told everyone I know this is the place to stay in town.

room layout was rectangular, and made it a bit awkward for any television viewing if there was more than one person watching.

This place was awesome! We arrived early (noon) and were given our suite immediately. Great condition, quiet surroundings. Suite was really nice, everything working in good condition. Free Internet from the room, but only wired; for free wi-fi you need to go to the common areas (lobby, restaurant, etc.) There was a fully supplied kitchen (silverware, […] plates, pots) with refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. Great staff, friendly and helpful. This hotel was amazing. Very beautiful inside. The rooms were spacious-LOVED the kitchen. We stayed here for a concert at the Ampitheater and it was very close. We have decided to start staying in Homewood Suites while we travel with our children because of the suite set up and great breakfast! I would highly recommend to anyone for any reason!!

Clean and close to everything. Would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for the ACC Championship game and loved it. We arrived in Tampa early after driving 9 hours all night. We got there a good 4 hours before our scheduled check-in time, but the awesome lady at the front desk allowed us to get our room keys and get some sleep. She even called to make sure everything was alright with the room once […] we got settled in. The room was a great value and I will definitely stay there next time we're in town. Mehr

Very nice accomodations. The room had a kitchen with refrigerator, stove top, microwave and dishwasher. There were TVS in both the livingroom and bedroom. You are able to control the temperature and the structure provides for a quiet stay. Rooms were very clean and well stocked and hotel staff was very pleasant. This place was an amazing deal ... really. Clean, super comfortable, big room, free breakfast, free parking - what more could you ask for? You won't find a better deal. It's about 10 minutes from downtown Tampa, but still well worth staying a few miles away for the great value.

Wonderful rooms, sas a full kitchen and living room with separate bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would LIVE here!!!!

The room has a nice layout with a living room area separate from the bedroom. The kitchen included a small dining table which was a nice feature. All of the furniture was very comfortable to sit/lay on. Kitchen was fully stocked with large refrigerator, stove plate, sink, silverware, plates, etc. in the cabinets. The room was clean and quiet. We were […] able to access the wifi from the 3rd floor, but front desk did warn us that it may not work. Apparently they can only guarantee wifi on the first floor and ethernet cable use on all other floors. The hotel is very convenient to Brandon, I75 and the Crosstown Expwy. If you forget your toothbrush or other toiletries expect to pay $1-3 to get a supply from the hotel service desk. Complimentary breakfast was OK, a bit congested with the set-up of the area and many guests on the weekend. Considering there are many hotels in the area I would like to have seen this place at a lower price but it was worth the money overall. We would definitely stay there again. Mehr
