Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Fenster blickte direkt auf den Nordeingang der Klosterkirche Morimondi. Das Zimmer war ungewöhnlich groß und hätte Platz für eine große Familie geboten, sogar mit Babybett und behindertengerechtem Badezimmer. Unser Anliegen war es, das Kloster zu besichtigen. Es war ausgesprochen interessant.

Einfach schön! Die Nähe zur Superstrade war nicht zu spüren, die Angestellten im Hotel super nett, auch ohne ein Wort Italienisch.Einfach perfekt und empfehlenswert. Tipp: Mailand ist mit dem Zug in 25 Minuten für 3€ pro Person zu erreichen

Mailands Hauptbahnhof besitzt aufgrund seiner in Marmor gehaltenen Hallen und Galerien sowie seiner Mosaikfußböden monumentalen Charakter. Er ist Norditaliens größter und geschäftigster Bahnhof und dürfte wohl Europas schönster Bahnhof überhaupt sein. Viele internationale Züge und Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge halten hier, und auch die Innenstadt ist dank der Metro gut zu erreichen. Ganz in der Nähe ragt der Wolkenkratzer Grattacielo Pirelli in den Himmel, der Mailands höchstes Gebäude und ein Symbol für den Wohlstand der Stadt ist.

"Hotel Berna, Milano"
Dicht am Hauptbahnhof gelegen war das Hotel genau was ich wollte. Das Personal schien ungewoehnlich hilfreich.
Das Hotel war sehr schön und ist direkt an der Statione Centrale gelegen. In unmittelbarer Umgebung findet man diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (sowohl Kleidung, Schuhe, Lebensmittel,...) und kleine Cafés. Die Zimmer sind mit einem Kühlschrank und TV ausgestattet, es gibt Room-Service zum kleinen Preis eine allgemein sehr nette Einrichtung. Zum Dom sind […] es ungefähr 20 - 25 Minuten Fußweg oder 4 Stationen mit der Metro/Bus. Gleich neben der Statione Centrale befindet sich der Pirelli-Plaza. Etwas seltsam war, dass wir ein Raucher-Zimmer gebucht haben und dort dann mit einem 100% rauchfreiem Hotel überrascht wurden. Ansonsten ist Mailand nicht besonders groß, wenn man also nicht vor hat den ganzen Tag bei Gucci, Versace und Prada shoppen zu gehen sind 2 Tage vollkommen ausreichend, denn viel zu besichtigen gibt es nicht. "Gerne wieder ins Hotel Berna!"
Das Hotel liegt gleich bei einer Metrostation. Man ist sehr schnell im Zentrum oder bei den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch zum San Siro gelangt man schnell und einfach mit dem Metro. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Mailand kommen wir wieder ins Hotel Berna. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. "Optimales Hotel für Städtereise!"
Wir buchten das Hotel Berna kurzfristig für einen Aufenthalt in Mailand und waren sehr begeistert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer (wir hatten ein Executive-Zimmer gebucht) ist sehr schön und das Frühstück spitzenmäßig! Da das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt, ist es auch für Reisende, die am Flughafen ankommen, optimal geeignet. […] Der Shuttlebus fähr halbstündlich zum Hauptbahnhof (Stazione Centrale) und das Hotel ist ca. 200 Meter vom Bahnhof entfernt. Man kann mir der Metro (ca. 100 Meter vom Hotel) in die Stadt fahren (Milano Card für 10 Euro vorher buchen und ins Hotel liefern lassen, s. Internet). In diesem Hotel kann man gut schlafen, da die Fenster schallgedämpft sind und sich das Hotel ohnehin in einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße befindet. Mehr

"Super Service und recht gute Lage"
Das Hotel-Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und es herrscht ein sehr angenehmes Betriebsklima, das man auch als Gast zu spüren bekommt. Es wird wirklich versucht es einem so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Keine kalte Hotel-Atmosphäre sondern ein lebendiger Ort. Frühstücksbuffet und Personal sind speziell als top zu erwähnen. "Rundum zufrieden!"
Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, in jedem Hotelbereich. Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet, gratis Minibar! Gute Lage, da zu Fuss vom Bahnhof Centrale aus erreichbar und Metro und Tram in unmittelbarer Nähe sind. Kurze Distanz zu allen Highlights.

"Hotel Berna - ein sicherer Wert"
Wir haben bereits das zweite Mal im Hotel Berna übernachtet und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Hilfsbereite und sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende, gut ausgestattete Zimmer und die super zentrale Lage sind überzeugend. Die Metrostation und der Hauptbahnhof sind nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Das leckere, gut bestückte und immer wieder aufgefüllte Frühstücksbüffet […] (eigentlich sehr unitalienisch) runden das ganze Angebot sehr gut ab. Das Hotel liegt nahe beim Bahnhof und ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Um das historische Zentrum zu erreichen, kann man die ganz in der Nähe liegende Metro benutzen oder einen längeren Spaziergang unternehmen. Das Hotel wird sehr liebevoll geführt. Man wird morgens sehr freundlich begrüsst, beim sehr reichhaltigen Frühstück wird nachgefragt, ob alles in […] Ordnung sei. Es wird einem eine grosse Aufmerksamkeit zuteil. "Good stay, close to train stn and clean!"
We stayed at the hotel berna for 3 nights n thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean n quiet (even though we r along a street). Breakfast spread was excellent n service was just commendable. Very helpful n attentive to our needs! Highly recommend this place to stay in Milan!
very easy to get to from the Milano Centrale station on foot. Also close to the trollies which make easy to get around town. Great breakfast buffet. And the largest shower I saw in Italy.
Hotel Berna delivers 5-star service with their highly responsive front-desk/ customer service, free room upgrade, free wifi, free minibar and excellent breakfast. The room's are comfortable and well cleaned. The rooms are as I unfortunately had to experience also quite adapt at blocking out sound from the noisy budget visitors that are attracted by […] the great value that this hotel offers. The location is a 20min walk from the old city center but through the very efficient Milan public transport system (metro stop practically in front of the hotel) this does not negatively affect the location rating. on the 3min walk from central station to the hotel you will come across the occasional homeless man. "Nice hotel convenient to Stazione Centrale"
We only stayed at Hotel Berna for two nights, but we enjoyed the experience. The staff speak excellent English and went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. Also, while the neighborhood might look a bit sketchy, rest assured that's how most neighborhoods looks in Italy! :) And there are several nice/affordable restaurants nearby. We stayed in the hotel for 1 night. The service and friendliness of the check-in staff is fantastic. He made us feel very welcome. We are also very surprised that we are able to customise the room to our needs such as having the type of pillow, towels and drinks etc, We were also delighted that the hotel provides fast speed internet as well as compilmentary […] drinks. The buffet breakfast is a sumptuous spread. I specially love the hot chocolate which is thick and delicious! We were given a room on 2nd level beside the lift. It is abit noisy when other guests walk in and out of the lift. The room is small but cosy. Bed is comfortable. Overall, we are glad and satified that we have stayed with Hotel Berna. =) Mehr

Home from home lovely friendly happy staff. Breakfast to die for :) 5 minutes walk to the train station and 2 minutes to the subway. A jewel in Milan
This hotel is highly recommened. Close to train station and many restaurants. Frienly staff and great breakfast. I needed an iron and they instantly brought one up to the room. Small refrigator with drinks and snacks at no extra charge. Great hotel would stay again.

Hotel Berna is conveniently located near Milan train station and a metro station. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. A super market is also within walking distance. We stayed in the building across the street from the lobby. The security seems really tight (with an airlock-type, two layered security door). However, the hotel room air con […] is impossible to adjust, and it can become incredibly warm. The room is also quite small. The breakfast is good, with many food options. One of the best surprises is that the content in the mini-fridge in the room is complimentary. I wish more hotels would do this. The service is responsive. The neighborhood, however, is a little seedy. There are many massage parlors nearby, and it feels unsafe walking around at night. Mehr

Hotel service is excellent . Location is good, easy access to anywhere. Breakfast is great. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We definitely will choose to stay here in our next shopping trip.

The staff were very kind. The room was not fancy but nice and sufficiently pleasant to stay. The breakfast was very good. The room has some defect (the shower head was broken) but did not bother me seriously. The price was a bit high but it's in Milan.

Very good hotel. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Hotel is located roughly 5 mins walk from the main train station. The hotel is in a nice area, considering most main train stations aren't the best areas to be based near. Very child friendly, clean, and the staff were the best I've had dealings with. Totally recommend.

Great Hotel with excellent service. We booked a double room and were very happy with the standard. Flat screen tv, Free soft drinks in the mini bar and a large bathroom with bath and shower - very clean. The only downside was the hot water wasn't very hot in the morning time. Breakfast was included in our room and there was a large selection of juices, […] fruit, pastries and the staff are happy to provide any coffee you like. It is very close to the central station and metro takes just 10mins to Duomo or the main shopping areas. Front desk staff provided excellent service. Had problems retrieving my pre-paid SIM card phone number as it was all in Italian which I could not understand. Staff went out of their way to ensure that the problem was resolved swiftly.
"A reasonably priced gem of a hotel"
We stayed at this beautifully appointed hotel for two nights. The survey that you complete before going to this hotel is a nice touch. You can pick out your drinks that will be free (unless it's beer), room temp, bedding. I booked 2 rooms and asked for similar firmness in mattresses. The mattress in my room was too hard. One call and they were up in […] 5 minutes, took me to their storeroom to pick out a mattress topper and put it on my bed. Bathroom door gets jammed, they are up in 5 minutes. Computer doesn't work, well that was at 5am so I did have to wait for the technician because it was an internet problem. You will never find a breakfast like this! Phenomenal! I have never seen so much good quality food/drinks on a buffet. This group even packed us a breakfast so we could make a 7 am train to Venice. A word of warning though. It is a piece of fruit, basically crackers, water, jams, nutella and cookie type stuff that is prepackaged. You will not receive pastries or anything off their breakfast buffet and of course we lost a great breakfast (and paid a good bit for it) by leaving before the buffet opened but that was our choice. The croissants/cookies and coffee/tea placed during the day was wonderful. It is also a 5 minute walk from the train station which for me was a bonus, not to mention a to die for pizza/Italian place down the street. My son was in heaven and ate there with my husband twice. I would stay there in a heartbeat if we ever go back to Milan. One thing I would like to mention for soccer fans: for 20 Euro there is a stadium tour where AC Milan and InterMilan play. Going into the locker room, going on the field and visiting their museum was the highlight of my son's trip. There are also 20 Euro shopping tours that go outside the city to the outlets for the day but don't return until 6 pm. Our flight unfortunately was 6pm that day so we didn't get to go, but she found outlets in town and even when we went past an Armani coat store, she was able to hagg Mehr

We could not have been more pleased with the service and attention. My wife forgot her cell phone in the room and did not discover this until we returned to USA 3 weeks later; Hotel had to phone and mailed it to us. That's the kind of personal attention they gave.
