Nice, but was lots of hair in the bathroom and on the towels.

We loved the location and how close it was to everything we needed

I had an amazing trip to Myrtle Beach. The stay here made it even better. Very clean rooms, quiet part of town, close to everything, but far enough out to avoid all of the mid town traffic. Will probably be staying here when we travel to Myrtle Beach again.

kids enjoyed it. room was a little worn but clean. service was good as in housekeeping cleaned the room right away. the main outdoor pool was nice and warm and clean. jacuzzis were great. the lazy river could have been cleaner...bits of bugs and leaves floating around. would have been nice if they had towels by the pools. location was great..away from […] the noise of the main pier and boardwalk but still near everything. beach was just right there. price was a little high because we got charged for extra guest fee even though there's only 4 of us. for the price we paid we could have booked into another hotel that had free break fast, but what's done is done...at least we had a great stay. Beach facing, nice location. Clean rooms, bathroom was little smaller that what I expected. Otherwise good stay option.

House keeping lacked a little, ran out of toilet paper twice and tub was not cleaned daily....But overall I enjoyed the stay and would stay again..

We had to upgrade from the smaller rooms in the main building, the room was just too small. Staff was very helpful in changing rooms for us.

v ery loud not alots of disabled occupant park for that price for two night but the room was clean

Parking is the only real complaint i have. Didnt enjoy walking across the street with a 5 year old and groceries. Busy busy street to cross! Otherwise i thought it was a great place to stay, and very affordable.

it wasn't bad but not convenient to amenities. kitchen is so outdated.

I like catching the local hotels when they have some good deals. I had never stayed her before but was pleasantly surprised. I had an ocean front room with king size bed. The pool and jacuzzi were great. All in all a great little mini vacation.

The Dayton House has a very convenient location. The cleanliness of the room was a bit of an issue. We had an efficiency in the North building and the kitchenette, especially the microwave was in need of a cleaning. Rusty inside. Glad we weren't planning on using the kitchen. Fairly comfortable but disappointed that it was so outdated and felt like the electronics and furnishings could have been more modern. The glass on outer walkway in halls needed to be cleaned more regularly. Water pressure was excellent.

Ok so as a family of 3 adults&1 two year old we were tight! The main room that is (ocean front) the bed had to be taken down from the wall!? The room with the two beds was so dark and gloomy. The kitchen was so tight. Don't forget a sponge to clean your dishes. The restroom had an awefull odor that by the third day we had to spray with perfume and that […] didn't help, I could go on about the parking! But all there is to say is you get what you pay for! We had never been here before and from the pictures and thevery nice man we spoke to to make the booking on hotel.com made it sound so good. Ummmm no never again. Mehr

We stayed in the suites at the Dayton House and were pleasantly surprised what a great deal they were. The hotel is quiet and clean, and it is perfectly situated for quick access to the boardwalk, golfing, and especially Broadway at the Beach. Unfortunately the weather was a little too cold to take advantage of the beach or the pool, but that's not […] what we were there for anyway. Made a last minute reservation, with early check-in. Hotel was wonderful at providing 1st available room, as well as information and discounts to local attractions. Room marketed as ocean view, not ocean front, but sitting on balcony was a straight on view of the ocean. Room clean, a little dated, but overall nice for the price! After reading some of the reviews I was kind of skeptical about staying here but the price was within my budget and I needed this mini vacay! My husband and I stayed in the North building.The suite was very clean,plenty of room and the beds were comfy.They are currently working on updating some of the rooms.We enjoyed our stay there.

Was very pleased with the stay, clean room, comfortable bed, location was good and staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area.

There are several different buildings. I stayed in the West Building. The walls were paper thin. I could hear every car that drove by (and it was A LOT) and the people in the rooms next to me. I brought some ear plugs so that wasn't a huge issue. There was a huge red stain on the carpet, gum stuck to the curtains, a strange stain on the phone, strange […] stains on the curtains, and complimentary hair in the shower. The mattresses were extremely hard and the pillows were flat. If you were coming to the beach to party, this would be a great hotel because you couldn't mess up the room anymore than it already was. If you are coming with a family though, I would seriously rethink this hotel. Well at least the West building anyway! Mehr

My husband I stayed in the king oceanfront suite on our anniversary trip. Though we wished the balcony came off the master bedroom, we did like our view of the ocean from the master. The room was very nice and the service excellent. The room was kept very clean. The parking was not that great. Though there are 3 floors to the parking deck, if you have […] a van or SUV, you have to park on the lowest deck of the garage where there are only 5 or 6 spots or you have to park outside. I recommend taking a car if you want to park in the garage. Overall, this is a great place to stay and the views are great...even the side views! Mehr

I was hoping to save a few $$ for the suprise getaway that I planned for my wife to be able to do other fun things. Dayton House Resort delievred! It was very affordable for a non-ocean view room however once on the balcony we had decent view of the beach and water which was an added bonus. I could not give a perfect rating only because the picture […] of the non-ocean view room did not mirror the actual room. The room was very clean and comfortable but dated. Other than that, we enjoyed the location, the quietness, and affordability. I will book again in the future (this time getting an ocean front room) but if you are pinching pennies, this is still a great place to stay! Mehr

The phone in the room was not working. I was unable to find a book that explained where everything was located. I wanted ice and did not know where it was. The phone did not work so I had to go to the front desk to ask anything. The attendant did not seemed too concerned that the phone did not work. Also, the water in the tub was slow to drain. As I […] took a shower the tub filled up with water. I could not get it to drain After a time the water went down once I was done with my shower. Mehr

I had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and felt like home. I honestly have not one bad thing about my stay! Wonderful service, great room, good location. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel it was WONDERFUL!!!!

This Resort is in a great spot on the Boardwalk. Rooms were clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

stayed for our 22nd anniversary. was great.

The room was much better than we thought they would be. Great space and the oceanfront was the best. I would stay there again.

Great value, partial ocean view was excellent, kitchen equipped and useful, will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay, and will recommend this hotel to our friends.
