Beautiful city, great family vac great pool, mostly timeshare owners there. So convenient with your own kitchen and washer and dryer. We will come again

Resort itself is very nice. Very quiet and nicely appointed. Location is not very convenient if you don't have a car. Not really a restaurant on site. The poolside grill is not open for breakfast and closes by about 7 each night.

The property is very lovely and well located, but it is a timeshare -- not a hotel and we should have been informed of that fact when we made our reservation. They do only "light cleaning" -- If you leave your coffee cup in the bathroom, it will still be there when you return. They did not replace the sugar/artificial sweetener each day; no replacement […] shampoo although there were three of us in the room. If you want the sheets changed, there's an additional charge. There is no restaurant within walking distance and the Cibola's grill and room service close at 7 p.m. Mehr

The mattress was a bit hard but other than that we were very happy with our stay. We were very pleased with our room, especially at such a reasonable rate. The kitchen had all we needed and everything was clean and nice. We had a great time! The pools were great and the staff was very friendly. Only complaint is that the sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable. Even the kids opted to sleep on the floor instead of the pullout sofa. Other than that, everything was great! Looking forward to going back in the fall.

The resort specifically states that it's a non-smoking facility and there are cigarette butts on the ground and smokers outside on their balconies, so that was disappointing to see especially when you are playing a steep price. The other important point to note is that this resort is a timshare community so you will be "encouraged" to attend the presentation […] so discounts can be given. We visited Cibola Vista Resort Jan30-Feb9th, 2013. It is located in a peaceful area.(North Peoria) This provided great access to all areas of Phoenix within a reasonable amount of time 20-30 minutes. We took in many sporting events and lots of shopping. The amenities at the Vista are lacking when it comes to food. But there is an abundance of restaurants […] within a 5 minute drive.(although fine dining is lacking.) The grounds of the resort are incredibly maintained. The pool areas for families and couples are outstanding. The water slide is a lot more fun than you would think. Wireless is available in the rooms for a fee of $10/day. Near the lobby it can be accessed for free, although this is somewhat inconvenient. The staff was helpful and extremely pleasant. Requests and information were provided in a very professional and courteous manor. Checking in and out was simple without any complications. The rooms were very spacious and contained pretty much all we could need. We stayed in a king suite but if you are travelling with children, I would see what other options there are as the kids would be sleeping on the one pull-out sofa, which is as comfortable as a pull-out gets. The king was very comfortable and the master room was very large. There is one washroom to share with toilet/shower/sink and then a jet tub in the master suite along with double vanity sinks which was great. Time shares are available, but if you are not interested, you are not bothered again . Mehr

The room was more like a fully supplied apartment. Full kitchen appliances, lots of room. The conceirge service was complimentary and extremely helpful. The resort has many activities offered daily. Wonderful place to stay. I wish i was able to be there longer. Very clean room, grounds were immaculate. Plenty to do there.

We were 2 couples and had a great time at the hotel and the pool with a bar. The only hiccup is, the hotel charged my card and Expedia charged me also. I am working with the hotel to get those charges back. We'll see how that goes.

The hotel is a beautiful hotel but our room was not in the best condition. Our room had a huge tear on the sofa, 3 holes in the wall that were small and the washer had old hard towels hanging out of it. The pool was cooler than expected but the jacuzzi was great and huge. It is a time share so it gets a little strange seeing the concierge/sales team for a parking pass, but as we only stayed one night it was not a problem at all. They offered a second night to sit through the pitch but I was flying out the next day any way. They have some activities that I did not take advantage of but the exercise room was well equipped […] and open 24 hours, and the suite was well equipped as well with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. Beautiful place to stay. Grounds were very clean. Pool with large silde and separate adult pool. Horse back riding, cowboy cookout, star gazing with telescope and lots of activities for kids onsite. Shopping area all around for those who like to shop. Spa on site is absolutely indulgent.

This place is gorgeous! I only stayed one night and unfortunately didn't have time to take advantage of the amenities. Very comfortable bed, nicely decorated. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. Lake pleasant is only 15 minutes away.

Rooms were above expectation, very quiet, spacious, clean and convenient to the pool. Price a bargain, for what you get! Full sized kitchens will all the convenience of home as well as full washer and dryer in each room! There is only one cafe on premise (by the adult pool) .... excellent burgers and great prices .... works well for lunch. One comment […] mentioned on a review is not to expect daily housekeeping service, which was fine to us, but we still received it. This is a property that sells night-by-night rentals as well as time shares. Check in was extremely helpful. We were worried about the "Time Share Sales Plug" .... we really had no pressure for the sales bit at all. We were referred to Concierge for that information, but really didn't get a lot of info from her, (she might have been having a bad day or not feeling well). All in all, BEST of the BEST! Worked fantastic for our family of 5! Definitely would go back!!! Mehr

We traveled with another couple. Wasn't quite sure what we would be getting when we booked a 2 room vila. Loved the fact that our rooms were adjoining so we truly had separate areas. Had problems with the thermostat, no instructions how to adjust it so we weren't getting any heat. We had to call for assistance. We were given handicap rooms which we […] didn't need, the other couple hated their bathroom with the open shower, water got everywhere. Since there was a washer/dryer in our room we washed a load of laundry. No where did it indicate that since we were in a handicap room, the heating element from the dryer was removed. We found this out when we called the front desk. We ended up hanging the clothes over chairs, patio furniture, etc to get them to dry. Mehr

My son loved his room so much he didn't want to do anything but stay in. Next time I'll make sure all of the team stay here. I recommend traveling teams stay here very convinient for the parents. The room has washer and dryer and u can get together with the rest of the team and bar-B-Q next to the pool.

I was not aware when I booked the hotel, but Cibola Vista is a time share resort. They rent available suites as hotel rooms, but the resort does not come with the service you expect from a hotel. There was no one to greet me when I arrived. There is no concierge and no staff to help with luggage. They offered a baggage cart that I could use to walk […] my luggage to a building several yards from the main office. There was also no daily housekeeping service. The rooms were amazing and the resort was in wonderful shape, but if you expect to be pampered you are at the wrong place. Mehr

I really enjoyed this hotel...it was great for couples or families...has a really cool waterslide into the pool and then across the street is a place where you can ride horses on a trail...The only complaint I have is that the WiFi should be free to all guests at hotel in all areas, not just in the lobby...

Not bad, love the pool which is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of eating establishments just a short drive down the road. Our room needed some maintenance and we made a list and gave to very helpful and cordial front desk staff.Shower head leaking along and down shower wall, some annoying whistle coming from device with little holes in ceiling […] above tub? garbage disposal was not working therefore there was a foul smell coming from it under the sink ,so i suspect anyway..blankets and sheets on bed had some spots/stains here and there. Great location. Amazing pools. Fun activities for the kids through-out our stay.Kids scoccer game, water games, and bingo. The 1 bedroom suite was huge! More than enough room for my 3 kids and me. Very curtious staff. The only improvements I would have made was better explanation at check in about towel service. I have stayed in time-shares before so […] I know you don't have room service but wasn't sure on their towel exchange procedure. We asked the cleaning lady outside our room what do we do. She told us to leave the dirty ones outside our door and someone would put clean ones in our room. There was one day we had to call the front desk because by 7pm we still hadn't recieved clean towels but they sent someone right over with them. Pool food was rather inexpensive. I expected to pay more for it. Cafe was located at the adult pool, which having 3 kids with me I never went into it. They have the pool staff walk around and take your order so you don't have to leave the Lagoon pool to get food. Made it alot easier. Waterslide closed at 5pm everyday. Would have liked to seen it stay open till atleast 7pm. It was nice that they had lifegaurds at the waterslide though. Workout room had plenty of equipment and a good variety. Open 24 hrs which made it easier . We were able to get our workouts in around our schedules. Over all really loved the place and am looking forward to bringing the kids back for another stay. Mehr
