i found the hotel very nice and the staff was very helpful. the location is great, a very nice area and all the major sites are within walking distance. our room was exactly how it looked on the photos on this website, plus it had a view (2 views actually) so it fullfilled expectations, the only thing is that the hotel is in an old venetian building, […] so theres little or no sound insulation. if the room above yours is occupied you are bound to hear absolutely everything which at night was even a little scary, but i guess thats just what its like in venice. all in all, a good experience for the price. Really good value for central Venice. Our room was in a separate building down a side street around the corner from the check in desk, but it was safe and private and clean. The size of the room was cozy/cramped depending how you look at it, but was really nice for a couples weekend. Wonderfull small hotel in. Venice

Hotel Tintoretto is in a very old building in an alley off vaporetto stop Ca d'Oro. Staff not too friendly or helpful. Big, clean double room, no elevator, many stairs, very overpriced because of age & condition of room. Small shower. I asked for a chair to put in front of the desk & was ignored for our two-day stay. This hotel was a great location. Centrally located, off a main street (Strada Nuova), close to some of Venice's best restaurants. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the smell of freshly baked coissants (cornetto's) every morning was the best alarm clock the hotel could offer. I would definetly stay here again.

The hotel is located in the heart of Venice. You just walk out and you are in the center of it all. Got a very good rate because we reserved the night before. Very clean, nice staff, breakfast is great and it's served on the terrace outside the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Was perfect for us - lively street but quiet hotel, small but very clean and had all the essentials. Good if you're going to be out exploring all day. Air conditioning was a Godsend! 30 minute walk from St Mark's Square (if you know where you're going!) I'd happily stay here again, budget or no budget.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2011. It was the cheapest place I could find which looked decent, and we were not disappointed when we arrived. We got the vaporetto to Fondamente Nove and walked from there through the streets which was lovely. We found it after not too long whilst exploring the surrounding streets. Our room overlooked a canal, and […] had a nice clean bathroom (most of the rooms I saw of a similar price did not have this added bonus!). The beds were comfy enough, but you're not really in Venice to spend time in your room! Breakfast was basic, but sufficient, and the hotel is on a nice tourist street with loads of restaurants and shops (it also has its own restaurant at night which was nice). Don't worry about not being RIGHT next to all the tourist sites- San Marco is maximum a 15 minute walk and you get to know Venice better from walking around! All in all a great little place with helpful staff and in a fantastic location! Mehr

We found this hotel to be very unfriendly & we didn't receive a warm welcome at all. Very rude very unhelpful would not reccomend staying here. Our air-conditioning in the room was broke reported this at reception to which we was then offered a fan, I was under the impression that they knew the air-con was not working before we arrived & no attempt […] was made while we where there to fix it, so we spent 4 nights in what felt like a hot oven & as a result did not get much sleep. I am in the process of trying to claim money back as I payed for a service I did not receive. As I booked through Hotels.com the hotel would not reinburst me & told me to claim it back from Expedia Travel. Another thing they did when we checked in was keep our passports which were left in a pigeon hole behind the desk that any one could just reach over & take. The Hotel put a dampner on our holiday because we just didn't want to stay there we were made to fell like an incovenience not a paying guest. Mehr

staff was very kind and eager to help out. hotel reception is tucked away in a corner but fairly easy to spot from main walkway. room was plenty spacious in a tightly packed city. although room was in a different building from reception altogether, it was a better location overall.

A nice small hotel with small but comfy rooms well located

Hotel Tintoretto is in a great location. It is approximately 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 20 minutes from Piazza San Marco. The Hotel was easy to find as there were signs on the street. I arrived in Venice by train and I used Vaporetto #1 to reach the hotel without any problems. The hotel was listed as 4 star on the hotels.com website, and […] it is certainly 3 stars as the hotel claims, or lower. It is very small with minimum services (no lift, no free wifi). The bonus was the air conditioning, in-room safe and included breakfast. For the price, this was an excellent Venetian hotel. Mehr

Tintoretto is in a great central location and we could walk to any area to shop or sightsee along the way. Considering it is the oldest hotel we have ever stayed in, the room was modern, clean and cozy. Our room looked out over the street and we really enjoyed watching and listening to everyone passing by. Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful european […] breakfast. Mehr

Hotel unique. First sight a bit off-putting but after settling in - like living in real old Venice. Location good and some nice resturants around. Free breakfast not very exciting. No lift so suitcases to 3rd floor a problem. Room smelled quite badly in afternoon (of sewerage) but disappeared as night came?? Other than no lift and smell that went - […] clean and comfortable - room overlooking river. Room was nice and warm at night (chilly spring) but would be uncomfortable in summer if air-con not working. Not for someone looking for classy modern-looking hotel but as Venice is unique - so is this hotel as the outside looks part of history. Mehr

Hotel staff was very accommodating; we enjoyed our stay here. Continental breakfast was better than average and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

A little hard to find at first but fun to look for 10 mins from the Rialto Bridge we stayed in the other part of the hotel a stones throw away and breakfast was enjoyable by the canal good coffee and efficient staff

Not a fabulous hotel, but a fabuolous deal. Very happy, would stay there again. Nice staff.

petit hotel idealement situe dans venise ,a 5mn du pont rialto et 10mn de la place st marc. hotel tres propre ,acceuil exellent , petit dejeune correcte. ce n'est pas un grand palace,mais plutot un hotel familiale

Bien que la chambre était sympa et avec vue sur le canal, ne correspondait pas à la photo de la chambre chiosie. Bon accueil et ptdej correct, sans plus. Hôtel plutôt calme et très bien situé. Propreté de la chambre, impeccable.

全体的に快適でした。 ただ、朝食がクロワッサンとヨーグルトだけなのが少し寂しいです。場所もカドロ駅（水上バス）近くで便利です。

Varsin hotellihuoneen netin kautta. Sain käsityksen,että huone olisi riittävän iso kahdelle hengelle, n. 40 neliötä. Kun saavuimme paikalla meille tarjottiin noin 8 neliön kokoinen huone, jossa ikkunat vastapäiseen seinään ja kova ilmisesti imupumpun kohina päällä, joka esti täysin nukkumisen. Yöllä kohina lakkasi onneksi. Olisimme heti lähteneet vaihtamaan […] hotellia mutta maksut oli jo maksettu luottokortilla. Yhden epämukavan yön jälkeen meille vaihdettiin vähän isompi huone, jossa oli siedettävä olo. Erittäin epämukava hotellikokemus. Mehr

Très joli petit hôtel, bien situé dans un quartier calme, proche de la population indigène, facilement accessible depuis la gare car situé tout proche de la rue principale qui mène au pont du Rialto et à la place St Marc. Personnels de l'hôtel serviable et sympathiques.

Ett helt Ok och prisvärt litet hotell med ett perfekt läge om man vill utforska hela Venedig till fots eller med båtbuss. Dock hade vi, som tydligen flera andra, problem med lufkond under vår vistelse. Restaurangen i anslutning till hotellet var också mycket prisvärd.

Vår vistelse på hotellet var bra. Fint och snyggt rum med fräscht badrum. Det var dock lite lyhört och eftersom vårt rum låg på samma sida som resturangen och gatan utanför hördes det ganska tydligt in. Det låg en slags bar precis utanför på gatan och den bidrog också till lite oljud på kvällen. Så om man vill ha ett tyst rum och är känslig för ljud […] ska man välja ett annat hotell. Eller ta med öronproppar. Hotellfrukosten var väldigt bra med mkt att välja på. Tom grovtbröd fanns. Bra läge i Venedig med vackra omgivningar, nära till stationen. Om man är glutentolerant: Nära till resturang Hosteria Al Vecio Bragosso som är jättebra och har fin glutenfri pasta. Mehr

Idéalement situé , facile à trouver, propre , petit déjeuner très correct , personnel accueillant .

Hotel Tintoretto ligger i Cannaregio (tæt på busstation og togstation), som er mindre fyldt med turister, hvis man bevæger sig nordpå fra hotellet til nogle mindre kanaler med hyggelige restauranter. Hotellet er udemærket, og morgenmaden serveres i hotellets restaurant, hvor man kan sidde udenfor. Jeg ville til enhver tid anbefale hotellet, da det ligger […] super godt, og kvaliteten er helt okay. Mehr

Personalen verkade näst intill besvärade av att checka in oss. Inte särskilt serviceinriktat... Luftkonditioneringen på rummet var trasig, så natten blev mindre trevlig.

erg slechte en korte (190 cm) bedden en matrassen. donkere, kleine kamer. vernieuwde badkamer met douche (klein). het zou een enorme verbetering zijn als er behoorlijke bedden (en matras) zouden zijn, zodat je niet doodmoe van een slechte nacht, wakker wordt.

The location was great, only 10 min walk from Rialto Bridge. The room was small, but ok confortable, the bathroom was nice, shower good and towels were changed every day, if you wanted to. Breakfast was ok, but was missing cheese. The staff were friendly and Englist speaking and the restaurant in the hotel was very good. Fantastic pizzas. I would stay […] there again. Mehr

Perfekt läge - promenad avstånd till "allt". "slimmad" frukost, saknade pålägg

Le personnel est très professionnel , l'accueil est plutôt sympathique ... Chose original la chambre n'était pas au même endroit que la réception,mais l'avantage c'est que l'on se sentait plus libre ainsi! La chambre était correct avec une merveilleuse vue sur.... un mur!! En même temps on est à Venise et il n'y a rien de surprenant. Après petit bémol […] sur l'équipement de la chambre qui à mon goût est un peu passé ainsi que l'entretien de la chambre, sur les 5 jours on ne nous à pas changé les serviettes une seule fois! Heureusement qu'on en avez apporté avec nous! Sinon je peux le conseiller pour tous ceux qui on envi de passé un séjour court sur Venise car il est bien situé et pas très cher donc cela reste un bon plan week -end! Dernier point le petit déjeuner est basique mais pas mauvais! Mehr

Hotel agréable situé au coeur de Venise. Les responsables parlent assez bien français. Hotel situé à 5 minutes du pont du Rialto, on peut même aller jusqu'à la place Saint Marc à pied. Le quartier est commerçant. La station de vaporetto est toute proche.

Fint hotel til en rimelig pris. Det var lidt svært at finde pga gade navne og numre i Venedig, så udskriv "kort" fra hotellets hjemmeside. Italienere er ikke særligt gode/imødekommende til at forklare vej. Nærmeste "Vand bus stop" er C D'or. Fra stoppestedet gå op til gaden og drej til venstre. Over en kanal (trappe/ bro). Hotellet ligger på højre hånd […] ca 75 m efter broen. Hotellets restaurant kan anbefales for pris/udvalg/kvalitet og morgenmaden er også fuldt op til standard. Mehr

H^^otel très bien situé, entre la gare et st marc, près de ca d'oro (vaporetto). Central mais très calme. Totale immersion dans venise. Pt déj buffet. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Personnel sympathique.
