Horseshoe Bossier Casino & Hotel - Bossier City

The rooms were very clean & beautiful. My complaint would be that you have to pay for internet use! This is this 1st hotel I have ever stayed in that I had to pay extra for internet!! Other than that AWESOME!!

We had an excellent stay. The room was great. The food was delicious. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Fabulous room at a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The nicest casino in the area too. Would return in a heartbeat.

Great Customer service!! Walking distance to the boardwalk and three floors of casino!! Will stay again!!

We requested 2 double beds because of little kids, but we got a 1 king bed instead. They brought in an extra single bed. It was very old, noisy and was very uncomfortable. Did not sleep well at all.

Pillow smelled used and could not get house keeping or front desk answer to get replacement tub and sink took for ever to drain had two cup coffee packs for a 4 cup machine

Dolly was wonderful at the front desk. It was a little inconvenient to other shopping and eating outside hotel. A little dusty in the room, but overall a wonderful place to spend the night in between gambling.

I enjoyed our stay at the hotel and was very convient to shopping and the Shrevport Convention Center.

Was disappointed - always stay at the Horseshoe and love Jack Binnon's Steakhouse - but it wasn't the same. Food wasn't anything special for the price kind of bland. Room was ok - unfortunately couldn't look out windows because they were filthy. Usually is good but it had been 3 years since I was there last and wasn't impressed especially for the m […] oney. Hotel and staff were great!!!My daughter always loves to be at the top of any hotel we stay at whether it be a 3 story Holiday Inn Express,or in this case a 26 floor super hotel.When I told the desk clerk,she changed our room to the 25th floor!!!My daughter was in Heaven!!! The room was fantastic wth beautiful furniture,a great walk-in shower,and even […] a TV in the bathroom mirror!!! The ONLY downside was the price of the room service food...it was delicious,but two plates of scampi,a couple cheese cakes,and two non-alcoholic drinks should NOT cost $68.00.They put a 20% delivery fee on it which is NOT the delivery persons tip,so actually the bill was actually $88.00. Huge hotel room. Extra large bathroom with great big bathtub perfect for a bubble bath. Could tell room was older with old tv sets and a very worn couch. Probably due for an update but the room was still quite attractive and very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Disappointed with the in room coffee maker; dusty inside with a […] piece of broken glass. (I forgot to tell the staff at checkout.) Friendly service! Did not check out the casino but ate at the burger place. Good food at a reasonable price. Overall I would likely stay again with the great rate I received. Mehr

BEST stay that I have ever had a hotel. My family and I will definitely stay at the Horseshoe again..... worth every penny.

Hotel was wonderful! Had evrything you needed and very nice!

When we arrived the room that we had made reservations for was not available - we were given another room that the carpet was loose and in several areas was quite stained - a red or dark pink color - our tolite was backup and maintance came up and unstopped it but litteraly left defication all over the tolite - the light in the coffee are kept coming […] on so they replaced the the bulb but that didn't solve the problems - all night long we saw the light go off and on. Since we are not early risers the breakfast options were very few and far between - plus very priciey - hash browns - two eggs and two bacons was $10 - the buffet was over $14 - btw - our room number was 816 Mehr

Bring your own pillow. They only have massive pillows that you sink into and they envelope around your head. Don't like a very firm mattress? Stay somewhere else. Want to get up and have a cup of BLACK coffee in your room before you shower? No problem. Oh you don't like it black....too bad. There are no condiments....AND coffee maker is located within […] a "cubby" area so tight that you really can't access it to pour the water into the machine. Don't know about the other floors...we stayed on the 16th floor in one of their "newly renovated suites"...the hallway getting off the elevator smelt like a stinkbug all weekend. If you are a slot player, best to go somewhere else, not near as many options as other places. Mehr

The beds were comfortable. The room was very nice and clean. There were great places to eat right there!

Great hotel! Highly recommend and conveniently located off of the interstate. We will be staying there again!

Our Room was suprisingly large for being a basic room. Only down side I could see is the t.v.'s were all old and out-dated. No flat screen here. To there credit though there were 3. I would stay again.

The Bellboy of the Horseshoe Bossier Casino and Hotel at 711 Horseshoe Blvd, Bossier City, La. performed his duties in a very superb manner. Realizing that my wife and I were both handicapped, he took charge, unloaded all our suitcases, clothes, and equipment from our vehicle and delivered all of it directly to our room with a pleasing smile. The valet […] at the enterance of the hotel took care of all of our valet parking needs. The valet staff returned our vehicle to us every time that we needed it. Our room was well kept and very clean and the huge kingsize bed in the room was one of the most comfortable that we had ever slept in while away from home. The hotel facilities were very nice including the largest and deepest bathtub that we had ever seen and there were safety grab handles and special foot rests all around the tub. It's showing it's age and about time for more than the lobby and restaurants to be renovated. Still, location is very convenient to on/off freeway.

This was a wonderful place to stay and I enjoyed beeing at this location. The staff was very polite and tentative.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and have been very pleased. However, this time was not a great experience. We drove all night and arrived around 6:30 a.m. The front desk told us that they wouldn't be able to do any check-ins until 1:00. We stopped by at 1:00 and they wouldn't even look for availability they just said they wouldn't be checking […] anyone in until 2:30. We went back at 2:15 they were already checking people in. Once we got to the room the shower curtain and bathtub had mildew on it. While taking a shower there was standing water in the bathtub because the drain was very slow. There was also a stain on the curtain that looked like blood. If I stay at this hotel again it will be because it is a free room. I will not pay to stay here again. Mehr

staff was very friendly and it was a nice stay. i would go back any time.

The carpet & TV's could stand updating, some of the storage compartments needed updating or replacing. The bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed that the room did not smell of smoke.

The room was immaculate. The view was nice. It was such a bargain, I want to stay whenever I can get away.

Excellent! The room was gorgeous and the view was amazing, and at such a fair price! The stores and restaurants were amazing and the casino was a blast. Loved this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. The quality of the room was a++ and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, will be staying here again!

Newly remodeled, extremely spacious, can't beat the price during the week for what you get

Had a beautiful night time view from room overlooking downtown and Red River . Room was very quiet providing a good nights rest!

Visually there is nothing particularly wrong with the hotel but it is dated. My issue is the hotel cleaning staff. HORRIBLE. First off the king bed was made BUT you could tell someone laid it after it was made because there was a head print in the pillow and body print in the blanket. There were pieces of a large red rubber band all over the bed. The […] ironing board and iron was still out. The rollaway bed was made BUT an extra blanket was balled up an thrown on top of the bed. To start out on a positive note, the room was huge, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The location is convenient and it's great having several restaurants to choose from within your hotel. HOWEVER, checking out was ridiculous. When I came to the counter, there were three workers and I was the second person to arrive. No one acknowledged me. […] However, they have an express lane for "club members" and 10 people came after me and went long before I did. I stood in line to check out for over 20 minutes. It was ridiculous. Then, even though I booked a double bed non smoking room, I was offered either a double bed smoking or a king nonsmoking. I was told I have to call in ahead to CONFIRM I get my "request". I had kids with me so the King room was out and I have a kid with asthma so the smoking was very much not ideal. They sent an ozone to our room which helped but it smelled strong still. The compassion was more than lacking. Then, to top it off, the charge for wifi was a whopping $11.95! I needed to get something done but out of principle alone, I would not pay such a ridiculous charge. I think it's robbery. Even McDonald's gives you wifi for free. Oh and if you want to use fitness, it's $5. Nothing is free here. If you can manage to check in within more reasonable time frame, it is probably worth the sacrifice but I was fuming by the time they even acknowledged me (and 10 more people had gotten in line behind me). If I had not already paid, I would have WALKED. Mehr

loved the workers and the stay, will definitely stay there again....the only thing wrong with the room was the hole on the wall where the door is...besides all that the room and stay was the best ever I give my visit and stay a 10 instead of a 5...
