Duangjitt Resort, Phuket - Kathu

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Markttreiben befindet sich in unmittelbarer Naehe. Der Strand liegt nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber, gross und verfuegt ueber eine sehr schoene grosse Gartenanlage mit riesigen Pools. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Good hotel with great value. Great gardens with a very large pool, a large pool and a decent sized pool. Very good for families. Very good facilities at 4 star plus, but service/breakfast is more 3 star level. About 10 minutes walk to the beach. I would stay at this hotel just for the gardens, they are beautiful ! This hotel is just far enough away, 5 minute walk. from the lively strip which is Patong Beach and about 15min walk from the main shopping centre Jungceylon to give the sense of escape from all things noisy to your own little paradise. The 3 pools are amazing and our breakfast room […] had views across a vast expanse of lawn with a pool off to the side. This lent privacy to the pool as not everyone wants to parade along in front of a restaurant to get to the pool which is the case in so many hotels.Staff were wonderful and helpful and we would definitely visit this hotel again Mehr

Hotel was in a fantastic location however we found staff very rude and unhelpful. Pools are great. Restaurant wasn't so good, but with the location you can just walk down the street for any food you like.

Good Location, good price but poor staff and quite average food

Great hotel for the price. Not close to beach but within walking distance. One of my favorite pools in Phuket. There are 2 pools and one is huge but currently part of it is under construction. No need to go to the beach. The location is 10 minute walk to a big shopping center but near many restaurants and small shops. Rooms need updating but clean. […] Very big property with playground. Really enjoyed staying at this hotel until to the point of check-out when the receptionist was a little rude dealing with an issue of missing teaspoon and charged us 100bahts for it! .

Nice location! only walking distance to the ocean. Great room condition! Clean and comfort. We enjoy stay there very much!

good breakfast good location swimming pools are located all over the resort. major construction going on lots of loud noise from 10.00 -7.00 pm every day also buliding next door under going demolition or one wall. you cannot hear yourself think . if you are looking for peace and quiet then for the 18 months or so this will not be the place to stay.

The hotel is nice and have a good location however there is a problem with the staff, they where not helpful and bad attitude for all the staff.

The quality of hotel service was average as our rooms were left unkempt until 4pm despite us having hanged the 'place clean my room' sign. The resort boosts 3 swimming pools that were pretty cool but would have been better with stronger filtration systems. It is also good to note that the resort masseuse do provide massage service by the pool side […] at a rate of 600 Baht per hour - full body massage. (As of April 2011) Breakfast was made available at 2 restaurants. (1 indoor, 1 outdoor - Both serves same food). However, I would strongly recommend the one closer to the resort reception instead of the one that is outdoor. The latter was fly-infested. The resort is a stone's throw away from Patong Beach (about 5 mins walk), and 15 - 20 mins walk to the stretch of restaurants flaunting the freshest seafood, street stores selling the 'realiest' fake goods, and Bangla road where you can spot the Hot Thai Agogo dancers. Last but not least, Jungceylon(shopping mall) is also about 20mins walk from the resort. One word - Convenient. Conclusively, I would recommend Duangjitt Resort to young tourist with a tight budget and yet favors a resort next to Patong Beach and the bustling nightlife of Phuket. Mehr

beautiful resort...swimming pool area gorgeous...staff very friendly...close to patong beach shopping area and bangla street...luckily could not hear any noise at night....very relaxing...only downfall is the internet service first of all had to pay for this...which all other hotels we stayed in thailand was free...and connection was terrible....

rooms were not impressive but clean. pools and garden are great. not far from Bangla road (10 min walk). I totally suggest it if you get it at right price! good for couples/family but don't suggest it for certain type of singles! try Merlin open buffet (3 min walk from hotel) food is excellent for right price!

Stayed 6 nights in the Durangjitt on our first trip to Phuket. The hotel has an excellent location which is around 5 minutes walk from the main street. Far enough away to be removed from the intensity of Patong but not so far that you cant quickly stroll into the action. The hotel was as expected for a 4 star hotel. Services and ammenities were good […] although we tended to only use the hotel as a base and didn't hang around too much. We had a walk around and the pools/bars looked fine. My only negative comment was that the beds were very uncomfortable. Our first night was spent in a twin single setup and then onto a double/queen setup for the remainder. Both beds were below average as were the pillows. Aside from this, thoroughly recommended. Mehr

We had a wonderful stay at Duangjitt, with only one minor incident. The housekeeper broke my electric neck trimmer (very expensive) then denied even cleaning the room that day. (because the money gets taken from their pay). Matee the General Manager took care of it after 5 days of trying to come to a resolution (front desk girls are VERY rude by the […] way) and we were very satisfied. Matee is a GREAT man, and you should ask for him personally when you check in. He will take care of you. All around, it was a gorgeous hotel, but we slept on different island most nights so the compound was not worth it for us. To each their own. Very clean rooms, very clean faciilty - you will love it. very poor customer service

The room was spacious and nicely furnished. But the service was awful. they don't have 24 hour room service, the house keeping is only until 4:00 pm, they only give you one room key and charge you about $20 if you loose it, which is very inconvenient since the electricity will turn off when you leave the room meaning you can't charge ur laptop or phone […] when you are outside the room. The pool water is not clean, and the staff is not friendly at all and they always get my room service order wrong. I would never go back to that hotel ever again. Mehr

this hotel is suitable for those who want quiet environment , nice and big swimming pool. A bit inconvenient for shopping and walking to the beach as it is not beach front . But if you prepare to have a good stroll daily or taking motobike taxi and local taxi , it would be fine, however it can be expensive . Disappointed, that the room has no clock […] available and unable to use internet in the room even after my complain. Initially they blame on the rain and later on siad , because my roomis too far out . They told me they will sent the technician to fix it but it still did not work . The signal wa so weak that I can not use internet in the room and have to walk to the lobby to use it . Because the hotel ground is big , so walking to the lobyy was a hassle. The hotel and the amenities were nice but the staff was rude and they nickel and dime you for a lot more than what you plan on spending when initially looking at the hotel price. Just please be aware of that before booking this hotel.

The Duangjitt was a beautiful property located at the southern end of Patong Beach. The street it is on does not have an excessive amount of street vendors offering taxi, tuk tuk, massage, suit, or any of the other random items sold on the main strip. The pool was nicely kept. The only thing I saw was the pool 'closed' at 6pm. The spa services were […] awesome. The ladies there are very professional. I had lunch at the restaurant in the lobby and the food was good and reasonably priced (as far as hotels go). The standard room has a very sterilized look with the two twin beds and everything white inside. The only color in the room was the brown from the desk and other furnishings. Pictures on the wall would have provided a more homely appeal. The television channel selections were a bit slim, but I did not come to Phuket to watch TV so I didn't mind. The grounds provided a very tropical feel with the vast abundance of trees and plants - something you don't see much in the city. Overall, this is a nice property and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a property for a good price and doesn't mind having to do a little walk to get to the party scene (it's a 10-15 minute walk to Bangla Street). This hotel is a beautiful oasis just around the corner from busy Patong beach. The pools are fantastically set admidst the goregous landscaping making the resort a quiet getaway from the craziness of the town.

思っていたよりビーチにも近く綺麗なプールも3つあり大満足でした。すぐ横にはコンビニもあり大きなショッピングモールも徒歩圏内なので便利。日本人スタッフが気にかけてくださったので安心でした。

Vi bodde 10 dager på hotellet, og er superfornøyd. Høy kvalitet på service, rom og basseng. Fikk gratis oppgradering av rom ved ankomst, samt at personalet alltid var serviceinnstilt og hjelpsomme. Frokosten var vel sånn midt på treet, men hva gjør vel det når resten var tilnærmet perfekt. Bra beliggenhet, sentralt og greit. Fyllte 40 år under oppholdet, […] og uten at noen hadde sagt fra, stilte hotellet med kake på rommet på dagen. Det har jeg aldri opplevd på mine reiser før! SPA avdelingen var noe for seg selv, og må bare oppleves. Vel hjemme i Norge, må jeg bare se tilbake på et fantastisk opphold, som var verdt hver eneste krone ! Mehr

私達が日本人だとわかると日本の女性が対応して下さいました。 本日は満室なので、ジュニアスィートを予約してあったのがファミリースィートにアップグレードされてます。って、喜んだのですが、二階立ての螺旋階段の移動は、面倒だった(笑)お風呂は広くてジャグジーで良かったです。 大きなベッドが上と下にあるのですが、ソファーがないのが、寛げない・・二人利用なら微妙ですね。 ビーチタオルは奥の大きなプールにありますって指差されたのですが、翌日行っても、誰もいない・・・タオルもない。大きなプールだと思っていたプールではなかった。 とにかく広くて、気持ちいいです。朝食も麵があったりして、良かったです。

酒店非常大，泳池非常漂亮，有三个大泳池，环境很好，就是由于酒店历史悠久，房间设施很一般，早餐很丰富，交通一般，离闹市区还是有段距离

Vi var här med 2 barn och gillade verkligen poolerna!! tyckte att phuket annars var för stökigt o detta hotell var en oas !! vi är mycket nöjda!!! bättre än Pkuket Orchid resort där vi bodde 1 vecka efter detta hotell.

日本人スタッフの方がいて、よく声をかけてくれました。 のんびりした雰囲気で、気楽にすごせました。 たくさんのスタッフの方に可愛がられて、子供がとても喜んでいました。 また、泊まりに行きたいです。

Veldig bra hotel, very good hotel. The hotel area must be the biggest in Patong Beach/Phuket, the area is huge, and there is always space for you to get away from others in the hotel area. 3 Pools is more than enough place to enjoy yourself without beeing on top of each other. I got free upgrade to Junior Suite, and the room was fantastic. The location […] is just 3min to the beach front, and 12 minutes to Bangla Road and Jung Ceylon shopping mall. Pitkistä kävely matkoista ainut miinus.

這所酒店地方很廣, 環境優美. 有三個漂亮的游泳池及小童嬉水池, 還有Kid's Club, 在裡面有色彩繽紛的玩具, 電腦, 獨立洗水間, 很整潔. 每天有自助早餐, 食物種類還可以. 唯一美中不足是, 房間不夠清潔, 地皮有很多塵, 很多蚊子, 我的小孩在第一天晚上就給蚊子丁了十多口, 很可憐啊. 酒店很貼近Patong Beach, 只需約5至10分鐘就到達, 整體上都很喜歡這所酒店.

완전 시끌벅적한 시내도 아니고, 그렇다고 시내까지 멀지도 않은 (도보로 10~15분 정도) 적당한 거리에 위치한 파통의 리조트였어요~ 전반적인 청결도는 괜찮았는데 날씨가 습하다 보니 침대시트가 좀 눅눅하고, 바닥에 종종 개미가 보인다는거? 그 정도가 단점이었구요~ 아침식사도 나름 먹을만 했고, 직원들의 서비스가 전반적으로 친절한 편이어서 가격대비 사용은 어느정도 만족했습니다.

Na vergelijk van verschillende hotels in thailand, tijdens onze rondreis. sprong duanjitt er voor ons het beste uit.. mooie ligging , omringt door mooie planten en natuur. fijne harde paden richting zwembaden. loopafstand naar de barretjes en het strand. Alles is keurig onderhouden. en een dikke tien voor de service van het personeel. groetjes,

Et meget bra hotell, i flotte omgivelser. Bra restaurant. Veldig bra service og personell. Ligger sentralt, ca 5 min gå avstand til stranda. Et kjempesvært svømme basseng og 2 i vanlig størrelse. Veldig bra standard på frokost.

Very Nice and Confortable Resort, near the center of Pucket, more quiet special in the night. Many comfort inside special the swimming pool, personal very educated and nice. Just a little problem is the breackfast, not special, the food not of good quality and not very intercontinental.

Dejligt hotel med kæmpe swimmingpool. Meget tæt beliggende på centrum.
