Das Hotel liegt günstig im Financial-District von Providence. Direkt am Hotel verläuft der Independant-Trial (ein Stadtrundgang durch Providence, entlang der meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten; einfach der grünen Linie folgen). Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Personal freundlich. Gutes Frühstück. Parken durch Hotel kostet $25, im Parkhaus nebenan nur $20.

Das Seaport Inn & Marina liegt direkt am Hafen von Fairhaven. Service ist nett und freundlich, im Preis inkl. ist ein amerikanisches Frühstück. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Preis - Leistung OK. Fairhaven selbst hatte (unserer Meinung nach) nicht viel zu bieten und auch die Lage des Hotels könnte besser sein. Wir haben Fairhaven als Startpunkt für Tagesausflüge gewählt. Dafür ist es gut geeignet.

Wir hatten das Hotel zunächst nur für eine Nacht gebucht, waren aber so zufrieden und auch angetan von der Umgebung, dass wir gleich noch eine Nacht verlängert haben, was problemlos ging. Gerne wieder und unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

the tub was clogged. i requested a joining rooms and the hotel had no notation from hotel.com. i feel hostess products are not really a continental breakfast.
"Cheap place to crash"
It was inexpensive and clean enough and had wi-fi. The bed was uncomfortable and the shampoo came in packets that they were unopenable. The towels, blankets and sheets were the lowest possible quality. They had danishes for breakfast that were stale and nasty. But I'm not sorry I stayed there because I just needed a place to sleep for a conference […] I was attending the next day. Mehr

The location is what made us choose this hotel. It was a quick stay but served it purpose in being in the location that it was and for the right price.

"Not too safe"
The room was clean. The only thing I was not happy with was the door. The door knob was loose. I felt unsafe due to that. I may not go back to this hotel again due to things like that. I need to feel safe while I am staying at hotel
"You get what you pay for!"
A friend and myself were taking a weekend away, we are in school full time and the price we got for this hotel was perfect! Until we got there! After check in we carried our bags into our musty smelling room and wanted to relax. When my friend pulled back the blankets to grab a pillow, there was an empty bottle of vodka. We were very concerned with […] the cleanliness of this room and asked that we recieve a new one. The women at the front desk actually asked us to throw away the bottle and put the bed back the way it was so she could rent to someone else! They ended up just sending housekeeping to remake the bed with clean sheets and blankets. When housekeeping came, she said there was no clean comforters but that it wouldn't be too cold out tonight so we should be fine. We were supposed to get a new one the next day...it never came in the 3 days we were there! The people are rude, the guests are sketchy... I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy! Mehr

Not reccommemded Unfriendly staff, broken toilet and extremely run down. Spend the extra $ and get a better hotel.
"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Yes, the price was reasonable but the rooms were very outdated, the pillows flat. I had called a week before our stay to be sure we had a Queen sized bed and they said yes, well it wasn't. I stopped in at the front desk and asked at 6pm for a couple pillows was told they would be delivered to me in 10 […] minutes, after an hour called the front desk and was rudely told that she didn't have a key and I would just have to wait. Finally after 9pm I went to the office and the woman went off on me, saying there was nothing she could do, she could break in to the laundry room a break the law if thats what I wanted and that I had to just chill because they were booked solid, then she felt the need to tell me a gentleman standing there has been waiting a half hour to register and that she was having a horrible night. She basically blew me off. The only saving grace was walmart was across the street, they only had 1 pillow left and I bought it. When I checked out the following morning and shared the situation with the person upon check out she apologized but I was not offered anything for the horrible way I was treated, they didn't even offer to pay for the pillow I had to go buy. I would never stay here again even if I was offered a free room. Mehr
"Knights Inn"
Very easy to locate. Room was comfortable, clean and had refrigerator/microwave. A lot of different restaurants and stores nearby. Somewhat old-fashioned with actual key entry instead of electronic card but staff (front desk and housekeeping) was extremely friendly. Very affordable rates and would stay at this site again.

"Knights Inn - a good value, great location."
Check in was convenient and the location was perfect: shopping and restaurants all within an easy 5 minute drive, as was I-95. The room was basic and clean. No frills, low price, good location = a good value.

"A bit scary"
It was cheap for a reason. Didn't realize the doors to the rooms were outside. There appeared to be a party going on in the room next door to us - a really sketchy party. All the other customers (and employees) we came across were sketchy, too. Good thing my boyfriend was with me, no way I would have stayed there alone.
"cheap motel, watch out for your neighbors"
This motel was very convenient, and the price was great in the Providence area. However, the room was not very clean, the bed has seen better days, and the clientel was shady. When I arrived, there seemed to be a good collection of bums/wino types in some of the rooms, although in the morning, the other guests I saw looked reasonable. The other thing […] is that the windows open easily from either side, and on a 1st floor room, you could easily slip into a room by removing or cutting the screen. Given the stuffiness and lack of ventilation of the room, it was hard not to sleep with the windows open....which I did after waking up covered in sweat at 5AM. So, you get what you pay for...which for me was ok since nobody hassled me, the price was low, and I was in and out. Also, the free wireless internet was not really usable, and the free breakfast was worse than at a gas station. Final rating: if you're a guy who wants to cut costs, and just wants a room to crash right by the freeway, no problem. But, I wouldn't recommend it to a woman/women alone, or a couple. Mehr

"When you really need to save money..."
The rate was very attractive for a one night stand we needed when we were bringing my daughter back to school. The low rate and the location made this our choice. However, don't expect a good pillow or a decent towel. And definetely don't take the promise of a continental breakfast too seriously - very bad coffee and cold pre-packaged pastry.

"Inexpensive and pretty clean"
It was clean and quiet and what we wanted, for the most part, which was an inexpensive room fairly close to Newport. I got what I expected, which was fine. On the way in to Newport, though, I saw a lot of other motels that I probably could've stayed at, probably for the same price, that were much closer . The Knights Inn at Seekonk was about 45 minutes […] away. Mehr

Near plenty of shopping,walmarts&,sams club etc, breakfast is coffee and bun so expect the same.Hotel is older but clean and well kept.
"Close to everything useful"
The hotel is located next to following important pillars of our life quality: Walmart, Target, Sam's Club, TGIF, Bugaboo Creek, 99, Burger King, McDonalds. In addition, there are numerous plazas along the road to the hotel with a slew of chain stores. Providence mall is not too far by car. The breakfast consists of coffee, orange juice and pastries. […] I had a mighty and prolonged heartburn from one of them, but I was warned that they are old! My room had a double bed, TV, a microwave and a refrigerator. Everything worked well. The staff does not have free toothpaste. They are not too talkative and almost do not smile, but served my needs reasonably well. There is a pool under the sky and children used it. The area around hotel is safe. There are a few other hotels next to this one. Mehr

"Bearable"
I wouldn't have been too surprised if a body fell out of the closet when I opened the door....After you get over the initial creepiness factor/reminiscent horror movie setting, it had all the basics to get me through the night. No ceiling lighting (which are low to begin with) makes the room a bit cramped and dark. Apparently I could only get a smoking […] room, which wreaked pretty bad, but I supposed I got used to it. I'm not OCD, but I didn't feel comfortable walking around barefoot. In the end, the host was nice, air conditioners were turned on to keep the room cold as I walked in (thoughtful), the functional microwave and mini-fridge went a long way (although no coffee pot), basic cable (so I could watch world cup games), and no problems from the neighbors made the room bearable. I thought it was a bit awkward/pomous to leave an envelope on the desk with "Housekeeping" written in pen, awaiting tips. Mehr

You get what you pay for; I reserved a few rooms for a bachelorette party, so for that it was fine, but under other circumstances, I'd probably pay extra for a more updated hotel.

We requested a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. There was major water damage and dry wall exposed in the bathroom. The toliet did not work and the sink backed up. Housekeeping only came once during our stay. They left a bag of towels on the door knob instead. There was holes in the bedding. There was plaster and unfinished work on the walls. "bathroom"
Toilet ran all night aside from all attempts to stop it. Shower was like getting hosed down with a high pressure sprayer. The tub filled by the end of the shower and the bathroom floor flooded.
"Awesome Hotel"
This was an awesome hotel for the money we spent. It was conveniently near plenty of restaurants, shopping and movie theatre. We wished we had more time to explore the water area near the hotel but will save that for another longer stay!

The location of the hotel was great. Lots of things surround it and close to city centers. The front desk friendliness could use a bit of work, but when I was upbeat and friendly to her, she returned the kindness. Maybe she was just having a rough night. The hotel room smelled old/moldy; grossed me out for about 15 minutes, then I didn't notice it that […] night or the next day (guess you just get use to it). Nothing fancy, smaller-full sized bed. Small flat screen. Fridge and microwave were a plus. Shower was a downfall - tile on the floor reminded me of a dorm room and the shower constantly dripped, plus the water only got warm, not hot. But for the price, it did the trick. Wouldn't recommend it, but wouldn't stay to not stay there either. Mehr
"Very good especially for the price"
Simple, older hotel- everythign is not modern tile and carpet, but it is clean and nice. If they were to remodel everything ti would cost twice as much For the price I was extremely happy and would stay there again. this hotel was what i expected ...near to where i needed to be and inexpensive. no frills, clean but the shower never got warm enough to shower!
"This place is a DUMP !"
Broken lamps, Door to bathroom split, No coffee pot, Bathroom heater rusty and not attached, Fake plants full of dust, Paint peeling off of walls, Bathroom blinds that do not close all the way. I could go on but I think you get the picture. P.S. And the rudest people I have ever had to deal with.

"Better than other cheap motels"
Just a room, bed and small TV for an overnight stay, but clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the fridge and microwave for the cost. Just a sink, but large walk in shower. It was quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Near food and coffee. Recommended for others trying to save money when travelling
