Schönes B&B Hotel

Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten Eindruck, hat freundliches Personal (außer den Zimmermädchen) und liegt verkehrsgünstig in der Nähe des Long Island Expressways, sodass auch Manhatten (außerhalb der Stosszeiten) relativ schnell per Auto zu erreichen ist. Auch sind die schönen LI Strände im Süden innerhalb von 20-30 Auto-Minuten zu erreichen. Das Factory Outlet Areal bei Riverhead im Osten von LI ist ca. 45 Auto-Minuten entfernt und hat eine riesige Auswahl an Shops. Auf Grund seiner Ausstattung, seines Komforts und auch seiner Lage ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Gastronomisch könnte allerdings noch etwas zugelegt werden

Wer ein paar halbwegs günstige Tage in den Hamptons verbringen möchte, ist im Grassmere Inn gut aufgehoben. Für ein Bed & Breakfast Zimmer zahlt man andernorts sicherlich weniger, aber die Hamptons gehören nun mal zu den vornehmeren Urlaubsadressen. Die Lage zwischen Stadtzentrum und Strand könnte nicht besser sein, Hotel und Garten sind sehr charmant. Dieser Charme hat allerdings auch Nachteile: Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, auf heißes Wasser mussten wir im Bad gelegentlich länger warten (Achtung, Heimwerker!). Der Service war aber ausgezeichnet und unser Zimmer sehr komfortabel.

"La Quinta-Islip"
Wow, maybe I got lucky and was given a huge room. But I would reccommend this place to anyone. I travel a lot and I might start staying at this brand more often.

"La Quinta Long Island"
This hotel is brand new. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast of waffles, muffins, yogurt, cereal, etc. was very good. Some fresh fruit would have made it better. Excellent value for the money.

Check-in was fast. Staff were courteous. We only stayed for one night, but it was a nice room. I would definitely stay. Continental breakfast could've had more, but overall was good experience. Wish there was a small restaurant on premises.

Booked for a three day stay. Had to change the dates once, and they let me and did not charge me extra. Room was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area is somewhat quiet for being near an airport. Nice surrounding neighborhood. No complaints.

"Convenient location"
I chose this hotel for its convenient location to a wedding I was attending. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and well kept.

Well run hotel/motel. Clean, comfortable. Not very economical, but the cost was repaid by a good experience.

Had two rooms, and neither remote worked for the TVs. Took repeated calls to the front desk to get someone to come fix it. Ran Fox News on all the TVs, which is just obnoxious.

Good value for the price in the LongIsland, New York area. Price included breakfast. Accommodations were excellent. Location is easy to get too.

This was our first time staying at a La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel and we were pleasantly pleased with the accommodations, location, and especially the breakfast that was included. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and clean hotel. No resteraunts close by. The breakfast is a mad house. Most people are pushy and inconsiderate.

"New hotel; worth the money"
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is brand new, clean, and comfortable. It has breakfast, and they have a shuttle to the LIRR station.
"Avoid this place unless you are prepared to drive"
Stayed here on June 26th, was unaware that the hotel was far away from restaurants, and the hotel itself does not offer meals. You have to order take out or be prepared to taxi out to find a place to eat. There is no pool to relax in or much of anything else to do if you stay here.

awesome waffle breakfast. rooms were clean. ac was noisy like everyone said but its not THAT noisy considering the price and type of hotel, it was great. the hotel looks new. everything i expected.

Besides the title, a large complimentary breakfast area. Great locaztion to the airport if being in an industrial park doesn't bother you. Only negative, I could easily hear people walking in the room above.

I loved most the quietness of the hotel and,of course,their continental breakfast.There was an issue with the doors key not operating at times but hotel management explained to me that the key was simply too sensitive to be kept with other magnetic cards such as credit cards.Overall the hotel is simply a wonderful place to stay.I have no serious complaints.I […] enjoyed my stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites. "Motel Service, Hotel Pricing"
The airconditioning, a very basic and necessary need in the summer, failed to cool my room below 78 degrees (I am a meteorologist and had a high-grade thermometer with me). This made everything uncomfortable. I was moved to another room- and the air was virtually the same. Given the price, the lack of room service was surprising. I was directed to […] order from the local pizza chain. Really?! The pizza chain? Really?! The desk clerk kindly insisted on calling a cab for me. What a racket. $55 one way from the hotel to a destination 5 miles away. I was told of the price while we were on the highway and asked if I agreed. A bit too late to say no. Any half decent hotel will not call you a sketchy cab - very disappointing. Overall, the employees, the guests, the ambiance, etc. was a very "white trash" experience. Mehr
"outstanding pet friendly hotel"
many pet friendly hotels are ment for the dogs!!!!!!! it was nice to stay in a hotel ment for people.i have two small dogs that are very well behaved and i am consious of the other guests and maybee there desire to avoid them.there is a back entrance to the hotel and offices and warehouses around the hotel so you can take your dog for a nice long walk […] in the morning.the rooms were spacios,modern and very well kept.A+++++ Mehr
