Hampton Inn Birmingham Interstate 65/Lakeshore Drive - Homewood

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Hampton Inn located at Lakeshore. The staff was excellent and I will stay there again. The hotel exceeded my expectations.Thank you so much.

Saw several traveling sports teams from little league to college and never heard them. The room was very clean as was the lobby and exterior. I would stay here again.

Overall, not up to standards I associate with Hampton Inns. On the plus, very courteous staff and clean room but the fitness center was closed for 3 days, the business center was missing the second computer- only one printer- no copier. The front desk was often unstaffed, apparently with too few staff trying to cover too many duties.

The staff was very nice, but our room was infested with ladybugs! We kept the room cold so they wouldn't come out, and when we woke up, we found bedbugs in the bed by the baby. I was horrified. They need to set off some bombs and have pest control come out twice a month!

Was playing the RTJ courses and looking for something close, clean, & resonably priced. Found all of the listed with some additional benefits. The complimentary breakfast was exeptional. The staff was also very occommodating.

Very clean room, wonderful staff. Not a a breakfast at the breakfast bar.

got in late at night. was told our room was non smoking but smelled very much of smoke.

Really treated as a guest not an inconvenience! Will stay here again on our next trip.

minutes to Samford University, shopping and restaurants. Also, the best shower ever!

My check out time was at 11am friday Morning. From 8am that morning till check out time i Had Four workers from that hotel Knock on my door to see if i was checking out at 11am. At 10;45am the forth one did not knock. He just use his key and opened the door to see if i was still there. THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING, GIVING PERSONAL SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS.

Extremely and helpful staff. Very good selection for complimentary breakfast. No problems except back door was broken and we had to always enter through lobby--but not a serious complaint at all.

Clean room and fluffy blanket. Location is very good surrounded with lots of restaurant. Walmart is across the street and a mall is just few minutes drive down the street. However, we were on our to Atlanta, this hotel's location is not near hwy I 20, it took us extra 20 min to get back on hwy I 20.

Very quick drive to UAB. Clean, comfortable, and the free breakfast was great!

I was in Birmingham to tour a potential college for my daughter. This hotel was close to the campus and had everything else we needed very close by (dining and entertainment). Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The comforter was white, which made us feel like things were very clean. The hotel was new and everything was updated. There was a mid-size refrigerator in our room, as well as the flat screen tv. The service at the hotel was exceptional. The breakfast was good and they even had bagged breakfasts […] for people who were in a hurry or had to leave before the hot breakfast area opened. The people that worked at the front desk really went above and beyond for us. My mother asked one of workers about a newspaper she was reading, and the woman had bought it for herself on her way to work. She told us we could have it when she was done, and she dropped it off at our room later that day. Mehr
