Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Edmonton North - Edmonton

We thoroughly enjoyed our night's stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were spotless and spacious. Much better than the other similar class hotels I stayed in so I will definitely come back.

We booked this hotel based on the proximity to Rexall Place and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and informative on how to take the LRT to Rexall and about the area. Beds were a little hard for my liking but that is a personal thing.

Overall, the stay was ok cleaning staff were very helpful. However, our room was suppose to have a fridge in it. We requested one several times during our three night stay and they never brought us one. This was fustrating to us because we have two young children who require milk several times a day. The only alternative they offered was using the front […] desk refridgerator. Which was problomatic at best. They also need to have more high chairs available in the lounge. Mehr

This hotel was in a great location. Only minutes from the Rexall Place. Close to Londonderry Mall. I would recommend this hotel for any Rexall event. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One note, if you do have an extra person that requires a cot, bring your own, as they do not have any.

The hotel is a little odd to get to, especially if you are unfamiliar with Edmonton, but the hotel is very nice, the room and bed very comfortable, and the hotel staff very friendly. We unfortunately did not get to take advantage of the pool due to our own bad timing, or the breakfast, but both seemed very nice.

Very good place to stay. Close to shopping and the trains and buses. Very good complimentary breakfast.

We first checked in and recieved a room which wasn t cleaned yet, but quickly were moved to a clean one, the washroom however smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.. The stay and breakfast were great. I am upset however that when I called after I returned home regarding my charger being left in the room, the lady wasn t listening to me. She kept repeating […] the wrong room number, wrong dates, so I had to keep repeating myself to someone who clearly wasn t listening. Very frustrateing. Mehr

Went to check in after 2 pm - they said the room wasn't ready. They didn't offer another room or to hold luggage, so I asked for a different room... They found one, gave me the card and when I opened the door, the sheets were missing off of the bed... Went back down to lobby, got another room, but it was by the ice and drink machines - very noisy in […] hallway and outside traffic was noticably loud. Even by saving a bit of money, I wouldn't satay here again... Mehr

My friend and I stayed here for the Keith Urban concert, great location, 10 min walk to LRT station, not too noisy even with train track right there, hardly even heard it. The rooms were clean beds comfortable. What more do you need?

WE BOOKED WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU SAID YOU HAD A CRIB, ON ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN THE RECEPTION TELLS US THE CRI IS BEING USED, THE WEBSITE STATED YOU HAD CRIBS NOT JUST ONE CRIB FOR THE WHOLE HOTEL. ALSO IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM THERE IS ONLY ONE HIGHCHAIR PER THE WHOLE ROOM, THEREFORE MANY BABIES WERE IN PARENTS LAPS BECAUSE YOU COULD NOT ACCOMODATE US ALLWONT […] BE RETURNING. Mehr

We stayed here for one night. It was a standard hotel but one of the few hotels we could find with vacancies. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and it had good Internet and swimming pool. The location wasn't great, ideally you would prefer West Edmonton, but it was OK. Speaking of location, from the second floor, our daughter most enjoyed […] the view of the train tracks and train station which featured trains. The trains in Edmonton are very timley and sill run after midnight, except after 11:15, they hang out-of-service signs on them and just drive them around. I did have one issue with the room, the remote didn't work. I called the front desk and they told me they'd replace it but they never did... imagine my dismay when I had to get up to climb out of bed to change the volume for the trains! Mehr

nice hotel and friendly staff. the room and beddings is clean. satisfied with the accomodation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing I immediately noticed that the Inn had a very nice smell - a lot of hotels have a musty, smokey smell - the decor was nice and bright and the room was a cedent size. The complimentary breakfast was nothing but AWESOME!!! My only beaf was that the rooms had nice t.v.'s, but one could not get a listing of what […] each channel was playing at certian times. We had to move up and down the channels to finds something to watch. This seemed very arcatic to me. I do not thing the options for this was entered into the main computer. A hotel rep. came up to see if we were doing anything wrong, but he too, was surprised that there was not such listing. It's not that we watch t.v. a lot because we were there for a wedding, but it was nice to relax in the evening and wind down with an interesting movie on the tube. It also would be nice if the rooms had small microwaves in them - or have one in an area that the customers could have access to them. I have wheat bags that literly help me through the night because I have a very sore back and leg.. Instead, I had to sit in a hot tub of water a few time during the night to help the spasms stop. Otherwise, we were happy with the quick check - in/out - very little time spent on that and the staff were all very friendly and pleasant. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends. Mehr

Back of the hotel backs to train tracks. Trains were going by every 10-15 minutes. Business center was a joke, they didn't even have a printer. Bottom line, horrible for business travelers. I didn't get a good nights sleep because of the trains and I couldn't print a boarding pass.

Great front desk staff - keep them!! Everything about this hotel was good. Being rushed in the AM it was great to have such a nice continental breakfast. We would recommend it to everyone.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the staff were very pleasant. Very surprise to see the complimentary breakfast...yummy. 10 out of 10. Would stay there again, definitely recommend it to others.

We got this place cause it was to be close to the LRT, (just out the window), we did not hear the LRT at all, however we did the baby crying next door, and the people stomping around upstairs. We didn't get to use the pool (seemed small) but breakfast was very good. Be sure to check your map as the hotel is very hard to get to in certain directions […] (2 entrances, no left turns) Beds were very comfortable (Wife found a pillow that she can sleep on), also LRT station (to get on to) was about 1/2 mile away Mehr

We were nice and close to the collisium for the hockey game and were able to take the LRT. The room was comfortable. The hair dryer did not work, but other than that it was a great stay and we would go again.
