Unser Appartement war sehr gross und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstrasse, wodurch es recht ruhig ist. Alle wichtigen Bus- und Strassenbahnstationen sind innerhalb von 3 Minuten erreichbar. Das Stadtzentrum und das Tivoli liegen ebenfalls um die Ecke. Wer sich selbstversorgen möchte, findet mehrere Läden und Kioske in der […] Nähe. Einziges Manko: keine Kaffeemaschine im Appartement. Mehr

Wir haben zu viert 3 Nächte in einem Apartment des Ascot Hotels verbracht. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist zentral, Nähe Tivoli und Rathausplatz. Man erreicht die S-Bahn in 3 min. In der Nähe ist auch ein Supermarkt, wenn man sich selbst versorgen möchte. Allerdings findet man in der Küche nur die nötigsten Kochutensilien. Wir […] haben im Apartment gefrühstückt. Abends war es zum Teil etwas laut, da in der Nähe ein Kino und das Circus-Cabaret ist. Alles in allem waren wir aber mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden. Mehr

Our family stayed at one of the penthouses for four nights in October. The floors had not been wiped for quite a while there were footprints in the bath, crumbs and hairs everywhere and the dishes had not been washed properly as well. The apartment seemed not as big as mentioned on the website and it lacked a bath tub. When we mentioned to the receptionist […] that someone had smoked in the non smoking penthouse we got the smart advice "to open the window". Mehr

Wir haben die Ascot Apartments als Familie mit 2 Kindern (2 und 6) gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden! Die Anreise mit der Deutschen Bahn klappte super und das Hotel ist vom Bahnhof bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, leider nur auf englisch. Einziges Problem: Das auf Hotels.com ausgeschriebene Frühstücksbüffett wurde leider […] nicht an das Hotel übermittelt, so dass wir dieses erst einmal bezahlen mussten (150 DKK pro Person!). Allerdings erstattete Hotels.com das Geld nach der Reise völlig problemlos! Die Apartments waren super! Neu eingerichtet. Im Wohnraum eine Schlafcouch und ein separates Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Der Sat-TV konnte als einzigen deutschen Sender nur RTL empfangen. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war exakt wie auf Hotels.com beschrieben (kein Toaster, kein Backofen). Die Apartments sind toll zentral gelegen - der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die zweitschönste Stadt der Welt ... nach Hamburg :-) Mehr

Super Lage, super Frühstücksbuffet, toller Service. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Zental gelegen, direkt bei Tivoli und Hauptbahnhof. Fußgängerzone und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Praktisch für Familie mit Kind, Selbstverpflegung möglich. Dünne Wände, Lärm von draußen etwas störend.

Der Baggage Room ist zwar abgeschlossen, trotzdem wurde uns eine Kamera aus der Tasche gestohlen! Sollte mehr kontrolliert werden , wer und wann Zugang dort hat!

Für ein Superior Appartement fehlt Safe und Minibar. Die Kochecke ist zwar schön eingerichtet, war aber liederlich geputzt. Alle Pfannen und der Toaster waren leider unbrauchbar schmutzig.

Das Familienapartment hat uns sehr angesprochen und bot alles, was das Herz begehrte. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal um Kopenhagen zu Fuss zu erobern. Das Hotelteam war sehr zuvorkommend und stellte uns sogar ihre Dienste auf dem Rückweg unserer Skandinavien Tour zur Verfügung ohne erneut in Kopenhagen über Nacht zu bleiben.

the 2 surrounding restaurants, Italian and Spanish, offer excellent food, made by genuine Italians or Spaniards. good location and comfort

Great location and so nice to have a cooking facilities, fridge and sitting area. The rate was reasonable for downtown Copenhagen but the biggest suprise was quality of broadband connection. No messing around with hotspots and pin numbers, just create an account and automatically signed in from then on. The hotel is in a block with good restaurants. […] I don't believe these are part of the hotel, however they offer 20% discount to Ascot residents and the ambience is much better than a typical hotel restaurant. The building is old and so the apartment configuration is not what you might expect (I took 5 minutes to find the toilet!) but the main room is a decent size and the bedroom is small but confortable. I spend a lot of time in Copenhagen and I just wish I had found this place much sooner than I did. Mehr

We were three adults staying in a superior apartment over the weekend and the apartment was really big and spacious. Nice furniture and you didn’t have the feeling that you were at a hotel, felt rather like being at home. The breakfast was just excellent there were even salmon and pancakes various types of chees and a lot more. The location is also […] just great, just a few minutes to Tivoly and Ströget the main shopping street. All in all we were all very pleased with the stay and this is actually my second stay at the Ascot hotel and I will most probably stay there again in my next visit to Copenhagen. Mehr

But then why would you want to show it off? It was dated, noisey and borderline clean. The windows were so drafty that they may as well have been open, sounded like they were sometimes. We had apartment 532, nothing like the photo on the website which looks mightily impressive in comparison. The beds were uncomfortable, sheets looked old, even though […] the cleaning person arrived each day, it made not much difference. The club outside the hotel is presently closed, Dec 2011, but it is still noisey, see window comment above, the kitchen was useable, the toilet was far from hygenic. The electrical distribution board would hum like it was going to go BANG at any moment. One of the power outlets had disintegrated, not good if you have a small child with you. There was a smell of stale smoke now and then. Considering the cost and the experience of the apartment we would NOT recommend the suites, although the hotel looks well established and I am sure it is up to scratch, the apartments let The Ascot down. The staff were helpful with most complaints but when you are on holiday, it is the last thing you want to be doing, chasing them for updates, etc. Overall, this could be rectified, just a trip to IKEA to update the dated decor, the use of a little more cleaning products and air fresheners, and a bigger lift to the apartment, Tivoli was lovely though............. Cooking tools should be in better shape - at least those covered with teflon. Rooms would be more 4 stars alike if you would paint them with a plain white colour again.

We arrived at 9 PM and had to change room as there was water dripping into the room. The alternative room had a very unfortunate smell from the drain in the bathroom, which is why we will not use Ascot again

Courtesy, comfort, clean;, convenient to all city activities Tivoli etc. was wonderful. Weird that only one towel for each when there were 2 of us. Be ready for Danish PARTY Sat. night. I expected two clubs to abate music at midnight but actually went through to 7:15 AM. Honest. Even earplugs would not help. I had a mild accident (fell on the bike path […] avoiding speeding bikes) and they were nothing but helpful and supportive. Highly recommend. Mehr

Hotel was nice and close to Tivoli it takes around 5 min to walk there. The balcony was great and the view over the city is absolutely perfect. Kitchen not the biggest and I think that if you plan to cook most of the meals your self this is not the place. Further more, the beds was a bit lousy and for that price and in an penthouse apartment you would […] expect better. Stayed for two days. Mehr

Location OK, but that's where it all ends. It's a long while since I stayed somewhere this poor. The appartment was noisy - both from the street three floors down, and also from rooms above (squeaky floors) and alongside. The curtains leaked light through them - thin white material. I should note that I wear an eye mask, but it was still like sleeping […] with the lights on. The beds didn't have proper sheets. There was drilling in an adjacent room two days running and the hot water was turned off for 4 hours during one of the days. After the first awful night's sleep I didn't have the energy to raise this with the reception staff who had appeared disinterested at check-in anyway. Besides, the appartment building appeared to be standardised, rather than individualised, so I didn't rate the possibility of improved alternatives. In retrospect I wish I had, as these frustrations shouldn't be borne by a guest of this calibre of establishment. All-in-all, a real shambles. One to miss folks. Not low cost. Not good value. And so many simple things utterly wrong. Mehr

The apartments were awesome! Convenient location and a short walk to the longest walking/shopping street in Europe. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very roomy. In an other review I read before booking, someone else posted that it was a block away to eat breakfast at the main hotel.... it was basically right next door so I don't understand their […] beef! We had a non smoking room and did not smell cigarette smoke (another beef others had posted). Overall, the apartments were excellent, clean, close to everything (Tivoli Gardens, Bus tours, Central station, shopping) and all this for an excellent price. Mehr

Ascot Apartment hotel was a nice experience for our two-night family vacation in Copenhagen. The apartment had all amenities needed for light meals and food supplies for breakfast were easily available close by. Restaurants in the mid-town area were within walking distance.The only dissapointment was the status of the double bed, which was almost worn […] out on one side. Will not hesitate to go back. Mehr

Great location in the city, but worst experience ever. The room was so disgusting I had to sleep with clothes on and try not to touch anything. Never again

The crux of the issue was that the apratment we had was nothing like those seen in the pictures, far lower quality. The location isn't great either for a good nights sleep as it backs onto the back of restaurants and clubs where throwing of bottles into recycling goes on for all hours only then to be picked up at the crack of dawn. It was also denoted […] as non-smoking however the smell of smoke still hung in the room, so much so that the walk-in closest was unsuable the smell was so strong. Mehr

Excellent location. Having an apartment was really handy with a child. The apartment was reasonable spacious. The kitchen was helpful, although it might have been better if it was better equipped (there were a few not-completely-clean dishes and pots, and a very scaled electric kettle - we boiled water in the stovetop). Our room faced the alleyway […] - with a suprising amount of noise at night (restaurants dumping their trash, air conditioning compressors) - despite being on the 4th floor. This was bearable with earplugs, and is probably no worse than being on a noisy street (although the hotel is on a relatively quiet steet). Free internet with very good performance. Overall, we were quite happy staying there, and I would definitely stay there again. In fact, I would consider staying at the hotel instead if I was not with my family. Mehr

We stayed in the Ascot apartments, not the hotel. The apartment was nice and adequately equipped. Our only complaint was that we had a first floor unit facing the street, which made it rather noisy... Other than that, the building was well maintained and so was the apartment. The location is ideal - three minutes to Stroget and five minutes to Tivoli […] Gardens. We drove there coming from the Danish peninsula and it was easy to find. Breakfast was included with the price and was very nice. There was so much food, we were able to even skip lunch! We will definitely stay here again. Mehr

Stayed for 10 days in Copenhagen and so glad we stayed at the Ascot Apartments. The apartments were spacious (there were two of us).... and VERY clean and tidy. The kitchen had dishes and pans so we were able to use the kitchen some evenings. It's very close to the train and the shopping district. We traveled all through out the city for performances […] and found the hotel to be VERY centrally located. Would totally stay again. Mehr

Just be aware that the Apartments are located in a different building than the reception and the breakfast area (about 100 mts / 1 block away). That was a surprise for me. Other than that I was satisfied w/ the service, location (a few blocks away from the central station) and amenities offered by the apartment.

We had a 1 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious for 4 people. It wasn't as new as I expected from photos seen online but it had windows covering one side of the apartment. Lots of natural light and clean. Kitchen dish rack needs to be cleaned or replaced though. We used the dish towel as a dish rack instead. Hotel was very pleasant and in a great location. Was kept clean. My only complaint was the room was furnished with two full beds, and I would have preferred one queen. Also, the kitchen didn't have some basics which would have been nice, like salt and pepper, sponges, that sort of thing. Overall a very nice, reasonably priced, oh and very spacious  […] hotel. Mehr

With a small family these apartments are a lot better than a normal hotel room. This because there is a separate parents bedroom, a living area and a small kitchen. Supermarkets and city center in direct neighbourhood. The room itself is nicely furnitured. Only negative point is that the view is on a backyard of a restaurant where they start very early […] (3 am) with dustbins etc. But no worry if you keep your window closed at night! Although an apartment, room is cleaned daily and you do get fresh towels etc. Mehr

Our stay at the apartment could have been perfect except for two important details. One - the apartment reeked like cigarettes and two- the breakfast was almost inedible. A large selection but the food had a strange smell and taste. The location was fantastic, and the apartment very clean and well furnished.

Be very careful in this neighborhood at night. You do not want to spend your vacation in the hospital as I did.

Hotel Ascot Apartments is a very nice and centrally located hotel in Copenhagen. It's great for family traveling with children. It provides a very clean, roomy and non-smoking environment. It closes to Copenhagen central rail station, downtown and everything. Great place to stay in Copenhagen and highly recommended.

Nice clean quiet apartment in central location, v near central station.

We came with a car, and thus it was excellent with parking in the back of the hotel, good price pr 24 h. As the room was not ready when we arrived the staff was very helpful with lending out keys to storage room for luggage and restroom. We could start our day in Copenhagen with car and luggage safely out of the way. The apartment had everything we […] needed, with two children and two adults this was an excellent alternative to two rooms in the hotel. Children on the sofa-bed (as this was not that comfortable for two grown-ups) an adults in bedroom, we all slept great! Probably good idea to ask for an apartment high up as we did, and windows facing the backyard as this was very quiet and we could have the windows open all night (-our visit was during summer). We had breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast room was totally full so the staff directed us to a small conference room, where we had to rearrange tables and look for chairs around everywhere in order to sit down. This was the only drawback with the stay that I can think of. And really a minor one too. Breakfast was good and the price good too. (not included). Mehr

if you stay and want walking around central Copenhagen, this hotel is perfect as a start- point. It lies besides major entrees of tivoli, Wallman saloons and cinama theatre.

Great location. Should take advantage of the hotel's breakfast as nothing opens for breakfast in Copenhagen. Restaurants and cafes don't open until 10:00 or 11:00am. Even McDonalds and Burger King don't serve breakfast. Free internet was good.

The location was perfect--near Tivoli, City Hall and the main train station. Most of the museums and interesting shops are within walking distance. It was so nice to have extra room to relax after a day of sightseeing and the small kitchen for preparing breakfast. We also enjoyed the cozy bar in the Ascot Hotel.
