Nice hotel little high in price

The reception staff were welcoming and friendly throughout (and Joe was extremely tolerant of our English humour and joshing!). A handy location for the entertaining area of the Square and an easy walk to a particularly good restaurant. Parking arrangement was excellent with easy transfer of luggage to all floors.

Close to convention center and downtown attractions. Staff was above and beyond with courtesy and little extras (e.g. helpful directions, courtesy dental floss - ran out so they gave me some from the store, extra cookies for kids, late checkout, etc) Breakfast was better than typical and free. Negatives would be less than sound proof rooms - could hear […] some street noise, and a small (but heated) pool. Gym smallish/average. Over all a very good experience. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and this one is the best overall experience. Mehr

Check in was quick and there were no surprises. Hampton Inn's always seem to provide a consistently good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was generally better than most moderately priced or budget hotel breakfasts.

Very nice hotel - friendly staff, room very clean, comfy bed. Great price for the quality. Best "free" breakfast buffet I have ever had. FREE parking - much of it covered. Excellent location with easy walk to many restaurants as well as Tennessee and Bijou Theaters. Charming area of town - Old Knoxville. Heartily recommend.

This hotel was great! Excellent location, fabulous room, great service. The hot breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have had in a hotel. If I go to knoxville again, I won't bother looking anywhere else, this is where I will stay and have already told many people about this hotel. Free parking is awesome too. worth every penny.

Knoxville is a very friendly place, and so is this hotel. It is very comfortable, it is easy walking distance to the convention center, and they serve a very good breakfast. Don't miss the East Tennessee History Center just a few blocks away, as well as the other sites of Knoxville -- it is a fascinating city.

The bed at the Hampton was better than expected, most comfortable. However there were 4 people registered and only 3 sets of towels. That was quickly rectified. The only bad thing worth mentioning was the air temperature was difficult to keep constant.

convenient location at corner of Church and Henley, but the signage is so high on the building that when looking at street level I thought it was a condo building (no Hampton sign at all) and we missed it more than once. Very friendly people. Main complaint was the air conditioning. The thermostat kept going off and on and the room was either hot or […] cold and A/C was noisy. Bed appeared to have been made by a teenager, though it was clean. TV movies did not work the first night, then the TV itself stopped working. We ordered a movie the next night and it was $13.00! The hotel actually comped the movie because of the debacle the night before. Are all hotel movie services so pricey? Breakfast was good but eggs were not. My daughter liked the waffle maker. I was in town for a week on business and this hotel was convenient to everything I needed downtown. The hotel was clean and I needed access to the business center in the lobby and it was well equipped for my needs. One night I came in, and had had a bad day. The girl working the front desk was extremely kind to me, and even gave me a little treat to […] cheer me up. That act of kindness went a long way. Mehr

I felt that they did an outstanding job, responding to requests and making the guests comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised.

I would stay at any Hampton Inn after this stay. The room was great, the beds were awesome, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was fresh! There was always coffee in the dining area which is a huge plus for me! Oh yeah, and the price was the best I found on line.

We loved being able to walk to restaurants in the city.

This hotel was great but their pillows are down with chicken feathers. This is not good for anyone with allergies or asthma.

Our stay in Knoxville was great. The swimming area and gym were nice. They even had a little store to buy snacks and such. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Great downtown location - within walking distance of market square, museums, world fair park, etc. Very friendly staff, good variety for breakfast, newly built 3 years ago, and free parking deck. Pool and work out facility very, very small. Good value.

This is a nice hotel for business travel. Clean, quiet, convienient to downtown. Adequate parking on my night.

This hotel is an example of why I love staying at Hampton Inn's across the country. Spacious rooms, all of the emenities that you would need. The continental breakfast was more than just bagels and fruit. The staff here was amazing.
