Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport Hotel - Dublin

Obwohl nahe am Flughafen gelegen sehr ruhig. Gute Betten, sauberes Bad (kein Haartrockner!!). Möbel nicht mehr ganz neu, aber gut in Schuss. Bushaltestelle in die Stadt vor dem Hotel. Schnelles WLAN.

It was fine and served its purpose. clean, comfortable, convenient, decent food. No problem

Room was comfortable, clean, although there were stains on the chair seats, bathroom clean. had a meal in the bar, food was good, staff were friendly, had to fly out early morning, asked me if I needed wake up call, and what time I should be in Lobby to be picked up by free airport shuttle. free wifi worked fine.

Great for the price. All-around comfortable. Nothing lacking except iron/ironing board.

Free shuttle huge plus, restaurant fairly average but hotel great.

I booked this hotel to stay the night before leaving Dublin. It was convenient for the return of my rental car (Enterprise isn't with the others but is next to this hotel) and it only took 5 minutes to get to the airport the next morning. My only complaints are that the breakfast is very expensive for what is really basic serve-yourself food (E25), […] and there was not only no hairdryer in the room, there wasn't a plug for one in the bathroom so I could use my own. For a hotel that is supposed to be of this caliber, I was quite surprised. It was also a little run down, though that's not uncommon in Dublin hotels. Otherwise, it was a good choice for me. Mehr

very convenient to airport but yet does not feel like an airport hotel. staff very helpful, shuttle is great and very user friendly. Rest. has a nice menu.overall a good experience. This is my 4th stay here, It is good for layover on way to continental Europe.

Have stayed there probably four times in the last two years. Comfortable, good rooms with good toiletries, friendly staff, great location to the airport. The hotel restaurant has always been slow in my experience, though the staff usually friendly. Just not on top of their game. It needs better managers most likely. Also, some of the equipment in the […] fitness center could use a tune-up, but the room is clean and spacious. Besides those two things, I like this hotel. It's a cut above the others right near the airport in my opinion. If I can find deals to stay here rather than the others, I'd do so. Mehr

Have stayed 4 times at the Carlton and each time find the staff accomodating and the rest. is more than adaquate. It is so convenient to the airport and the shuttle is pleasant although it is a good walk from the exit of terminal . but its good fresh air after being on a plane all night. It is a good place and nice people....

Furnishings and overall conditions of rooms were a bit run down but staff were very helpful and location close to airport was convenient

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Located in Swords with several places to eat and very close to airport. Only 10 minutes to Dublin Centre. Only complaint was use of wireless internet was entirely too complicated. Minor annoyance.

I stayed at the Carlton for one night on February 24th. and really enjoyed the experience. The Shuttle arrived quickly, the Driver was welcoming check in was quick and efficient and the Staff were friendly. Had a drink in the bar later and the girl there was great (dark haired)! Even though it was quite late she prepared a tasty snack for us and couldn't […] have been more pleasant! After a very comfortable night's sleep, the buffet breakfast was excellent and varied served by very helpful Staff .It really set us up for the day, and I look forward to visiting the Carlton again soon! The Carlton airport hotel is located next to the quick park long-term car park in Dublin airport but it is very comfortable and quiet. The hotel and its rooms are well appointed, especially at the price. The only niggle was the noise from the adjoining room: my neighbours decided to watch German TV well into the night at a volume that allowed me to […] follow the programme also. The Carlton also provides long-term parking and stay-park-fly packages at very reasonable rates, as well as shuttles to the airport. great hotel and price of the room was reasonable, reception lady on arrival was very nice, the barman we found to be very rude this may have been down to the fact that his english was not the best.

Nice clean, convenient (very close to airport) hotel. Has a fitness facility with LifeFitness treadmills - or you can run outdoors (park nearby for walking/running). They were doing work nearby so it was a bit noisy at night (yes they were working all through the night on a Sat!)....but don't think that was typical. Very nice hotel, clean, well-appointed room with balcony, nice staff, great restaurant, great location near the airport with convenient shuttle service.

We would have give it a perfect score, except the shower curtain would not hang in the bath, it flopped on the tub edge and dripped water on the floor.

This hotel is conveniently located nereby Terminals 1 and 2. It takes approximately 15 minutes by hotel bus to travel from the hotel to the airport terminals. The guest rooms are clean and spaceous. Food in the hotel restuarant is satisfactory although a little expensive. Hotel staff were friendly and helpfull.

As a frequent business traveler mostly in the US but also in Asia, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel was very comfortable and warm on a very cold night. Service was excellent at the desk and in the restaurant. Morning bus service to the terminal was on time. Will stay there again for an early flight out of Dublin

hotel was nice and clean ,service was good.the hotel as no vending machines for water,crisps,or sweets,there,s no shops close by either to get these.the room was very comfortable but very stuffy due to the radiator.there,s not much wrong with this hotel ,good for staying if waiting for a flight.

This is a nice hotel located within 4 mins drive from the terminals 1 and 2.Its also sitting beside the M50 and the M1 motorways.There is a Bank nearby and car hire within walking distance.Not much around in the line of resturants but many within short driving distance.This hotel is ideal for viewing the main runway and great for photography.Good all […] around offering. We stayed one night before an early morning flight. The hotel was overall great but there was disco on somewhere in the hotel and we could hear the noisy music in our room on the second floor. It went on until at least 1 am. The shuttle to the airport made it easy to get there for our early flight but too bad our sleep was disturbed by the disco.

A fine hotel with a great location, particularly if you have an early flight out of Dublin airport. You can walk directly to the terminal by covered walkway. A bit on the expensive side and they charge for wifi.

We stayed here the night before our flight back to the US, and it was very pleasant. We dropped our rental car off, took their shuttle to the airport, then took the hotel shuttle to the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Had a nice dinner in the restaurant, got a good night's sleep, then took their shuttle back to the airport in the morning […] in time to catch our flight. Fantastic Hotel. Easy to get to town. Bus stop right outside of hotel. Easy on, easy off. Food was fantastic also! Just a few minute ride to the airport. Will stay there again!

Have now tried all 3 - Radisson, Comfort, & Carlton, and this just barely beats the others in Staff, amenities, and Value. The only, and really only thing it gives up to the others is the location of its shuttle van pickup/drop-off at the airport - it is an additional 50meters walk from the terminals. It may have been an four star hotel once, but it certainly isn't now. Paper thin walls, noisy corridors.Some staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. Not the most pleasant stay of our holidays.

The first room that we were given had a handicapped bathroom (we are not handicapped) which has a strange layout if you do not need it. The next room given to us was stifling hot and the air conditioner was not working. We had to return to the front desk for the third time to have them turn it on. Shouldn't they do that when assigning a room? We had […] to go to the front desk 3 times because you could never get through on the phone. All the doors and furniture are scuffed up and look very worn. The shower head in the bathroom is mounted so high that the shower curtain has to be mounted so high that it barely reaches the edge of the tub so water splashes out. There is no ventilation/fan in the bathroom so that by the time you take a shower the entire bathroom is wet and has to be wiped down. The mattress was very hard (and I normally like a firm mattress). We ate in the restaurant and the service was less than average. The only good thing about this hotel was the proximity to the rental car return. Overall, I was very disappointed and would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

Considering the closeness to airport it was remarkably quiet. Only five minutes to terminal. We were given a handicapped room although we had no need for one but for anyone who would need one it had a roll in shower and elevated toilet seat. Roomy enough. Pleasant restaurant with good food.

I stayed for 1 night on 9/24/11. While eating at the hotel I realized I had left my wallet in a cab coming in from Dublin. Ashleigh and Emer were at the desk. They made great effort and many phone calls to contact the pub where I had been. The pub contacted the taxi Co, who found the driver, who found my wallet and delivered it back to the hotel. Prayers […] to St Anthony were even offered by the staff who had gone way above the expected to help me out. I left Ireland with a great feeling for Dublin and the Carleton hotel! Mehr

VERY convenient to airport (5 minute shuttle); rooms are quiet with little airplane noise despite proximity; wonderfully comfortable bedding; welcoming and helpful staff. Didn't use restaurant but menu looked ok.

For between flights this is a perfect hotel, very close to the airport, has free shuttle service and is very peaceful and quiete. Much quieter than downtown Dublin. Rooms are very spacious and super-clean. Restaurant was pretty good too. Would highly recommend.

Due to a super early flight I needed a place to stay near the airport. This place was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. Oh, and there is free wireless throughout.
