Hyatt Regency Mumbai - Mumbai

We ordered room service for dinner and it was BAD. Even after returning it twice the dish came out extra salty!

it took two and a half hours to check in. Service sucks. Only one restaurant which has set menu so we went next door ITC hotel to eat. Rooms were not ready as I paid for 3 rooms in advance and specified my needs (like extra pillow, towel, bucket etc.) well in advance but no use. Plus, before booking I was told that hotel will provide complimentary shuttle […] from/to domestic airport but we were charged. Sorry we felt this way. Would not recommend to any body. Mehr

It was nice.The moring buffet was always indian,Nothing much there was not hot.We did not eat or drink the fruit. Watch out the now charge for the water in the mornings in the glass house! The pool looked nice..But it smelt of an open sewer.It was not very nice to walk out there or even sit by the pool.

Very nice place. They over-booked and put me in a gorgeous suite free of charge. The pool is the size if a lake! If you are taking kids, or plan to hang out near the pool this is the hotel to stay at.

nice small hotel, but serious mosquito infestation, especially in the lounge area. told staff who just shrugged and said it was 'normal' booking site promised free wifi but hotel staff insisted on charging for it, even after i showed them the booking page and confirmation ( at check in was told that i should go ahead and sign up for it, and they would […] deduct at checkout - no such thing happened) overall not the best Hyatt experience, which is a pity because i have always had a good stay at the Hyatt in other countries and even other cities in India. The Hyatt Regency may be an airport hotel but it offers excellent faciities and provides great service. Rooms are spacious, the bathroom is clean and elegant and the a/c works well. The restaurant (glassroom) serves a range of local and European dishes. Highly recommend tis hotel. The hotel is very lose to the International airport of Mumbai. Everything is very clean and the people are always polite. Room very big and with a lot of services. Big choice of food. Strongly recomended for business trip.

Big hotel but fairly well managed. Service can be slow but always courteous and helpful. Large areas downstairs which is good for informal meetings and, if you need quiet areas, they have a few meeting rooms and cabins in the Business centre. The hotel is located very close to Mumbai International airport and quite far from downtown. So, it is convenient for those who are transiting. But, there is no pick-up or drop-off service (the hotel charges $20 each way to do that). Internet is extra. Rooms are very comfortable, but there is very little drawer space to store clothes. The counter and sink (which is shallow) are made of a single piece of glass. So, stuff from the sink can easily spread over the counter. Gargle gently! However, the hotel is well constructed and the service is excellent. They got a doctor for me within 30 minutes and the staff picked up the prescriptions at no cost. The restaurant is also excellent. Tasty, fresh food that is presented very well by served by attentive staff. I understand they have an excellent spa and swimming pool, but I did not use either. Mehr

Very nice hotel...though it was a bit pricey.

The Hyatt Regency is conveniently placed near the international airport, and for those that want to explore the real Mumbai, its perfectly placed between the main Suburban areas and the main city centre. The customer service is generally very good, however the only criticism I would give is that they do have a tendancy to ask you casually if you would […] like additional services (as if they were free) without telling you there is a hefty charge attacged, If you dine at the restaurant and only wish to drink water, do take the bottles from your room (which are free) as the exactly same bottles of water will be charged at rather a high rate. The security at the hotel is generally good, especially out front, however on my final day I did have somebody enter my room at 4am and quickly exit.. assuming it was cleaners who mistakenly thought my room was vacant .. still, for a hotel of that level it was a rather surprising mistake. The room's were VERY well serviced, and the staff would regularly recall my name days after seeing me .. so overall I'd say a great place to stay if you don't mind paying that little extra. Mehr

Ett mycket modernt och väl fungerande hotell. Perfekt läge för flygplatsövernattning men extremt trist område för något annat än det. Personalen är mycket serviceminded och det finns absolut ingenting att klaga på. Kan klart rekommenderas.

Bokade Hyatt Regency Mumbai eftersom jag besökte en mässa i närheten och eftersom det ligger bra till i förhållande till flygplatsen. Hotellet i sig är helt ok men om man jämför med kringliggande hotell på samma höga nivå, är detta lite högt prissatt, även för Indien. Men absolut inget att gnälla över annars, servicen håller som förväntat en mycket […] hög nivå, allt ifrån incheckning till det att man lämnar hotellet. En trevlig liten bar finns en trappa upp från restaurangen, duktig och inte minst kunnig personal som rekommenderade det perfekta vinet till maten jag beställde. Enda lilla frågetecknet är väl hur det skall bli när Mumbai's metro blir klar, de bygger precis ovanför ingången och jag misstänker att alla rum med fönster åt det hållet kommer känna av metron när den väl drar igång.
