Hotel Manaus - Playa de Palma

we checked in to the hotel late at night, at about midnight. The guy at the reception did not speak english, so didn't explain to us anything, asked us for passports, looked at them ( we had Lithuanian passports) kept shaking his head and saying "impossible", we started to get worried thinking whats wrong with our passports?? checked in to our room, […] it was tiny. I payed for three adults, they gave us just a standard double room with two beds and made a bed out of little sofa bed they had there, which wasn't a proper bed! There was no room to move around in the room at all! We looked out of the balcony-terrace and the view was horrible! Looked just like slums! So we thought we will ask to change rooms in the morning. Next morning the guy at the reception told us that there is nothing available today, but tomorrow. So ok, the Next morning there is a different person at the reception, told us that there is no rooms available, that we have to wait until tomorrow, so every day different reception staff was telling us "tomorrow". So we stayed at this hotel in a small room with the worst view without experiencing the full potential of the hotel. Now good things: the dinner was very good every night. pool area even it was small, it was nicely kept, we had a great time sunbathing and swimming. Hotel in total is not too bad if you stay in the room with the pool view, not first floor other side of the hotel room 108 slums view. Mehr

the hotel itself was great, clean bathroom in the room, nice terrace, in quiet area of Arenal. the bus stop to Palma just around the corner, 10 min to the beach. They have greatest dinner varieties of local food. we were enjoying the dinner and never had to eat outside. but breakfast was finished sharply at an hour and they took away all food and switch […] off caffee machine so actually we felt as they "kick us out" from the dinning room. Para comerciales como yo ,que vas a lo que vas llegas medianamente tarde al hotel ,ducha ,tele dormir y salir .. en general bien

P.almoço bastante completo, pessoal acolhedor. Esta a pecisar de um retoques nos quartos canalização, tectos paredes.... zona da pescina podia ser mais aproveitada e criar melhor ambiente no que toca a parte nocturna... muito bem situado em 5/10 minutos a pe estas na praia e tens tudo perto(cafes,bares,supermecados...)

BAÑO: La ducha era sumamente incómoda. El porta-toallas fue instalado de tal manera que te roba el 40% del espacio de la ducha -- a riesgo de llevártelo puesto con el hombro, la mandíbula, la frente o la calva, dependiendo de tu altura y el movimiento que oses realizar. El porta-ducha estaba dañado, de tal forma que resultaba casi imposible fijar la […] ducha en una posición adecuada para que el agua saliera en la dirección apropiada (la ducha se caía y acababa apuntando a la pared o cualquier otro sitio). La ducha carecía de anti-resbalante y el material de la que me tocó era bastante resbaloso (lo cual me causó cierta incomodidad el primer día). Te dan una bolsita mínima de jabón para ducharte (probablemente suficiente para alguien que mida 1,60). No dan champú. DESAYUNO: bebidas infames, químicos imposible de beber. La leche parece de mentira. Hay huevos revueltos, hervidos y bacon. No hay fruta fresca, sólo naranjas (que parecen más decorativas que otra cosa). alguna naranja, nada más). Lo más complicado es comer algo entre la horda de muertos de hambre que se preparan hasta 12 bocatas para llevarse envueltos en servilletas a la playa para el resto del día, arrasando con todo en minutos y colapsando la única tostadora de pan que hay en el comedor... recomendable llegar muy pronto o muy tarde, cuando hay menos gente en el comedor. CAMAS: en dos palabras: bastante incómodas. El cubrecamas lo quitábamos todos los días, era evidente que no lo lavaban con asiduidad. TV: pequeña, casi parecía un iPad, la calidad de la señal / imágen dejaba bastante que desear. TOALLAS: en 5 días sólo nos cambiaron las toallas sólo 2 veces, a pesar de que lo pedíamos casi a diario. El resto de los días nos conseguíamos dobladitas las toallas del día anterior. INSTALACIONES: tienen un área de piscina pequeña pero muy chula, limpia y equipada. Tiene buen ambiente. HOOLIGANS: tuvimos la suerte de que los huéspedes de las habitaciones contiguas resultaron gente "normal". No sufrimos el efecto Mehr

Very noisy

A pensar de que realizamos reserva con cama de matrimonio, al llegar nos dieron una con camas gemelas y que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Tampoco había teléfono en la habitación con el que contactar con la recepción, por lo que tuvimos que bajar varias veces. El trato fue correcto, pero no nos dieron solución alguna hasta el cuarto viaje que […] nos "activaron" el aparato de a.a. Desayuno de buffet variado y abundante, probablemente lo único "positivo" de la estancia. Sólo recomendar en caso de ir únicamente para ducharse, dormir y pasarse el día en la playa o por ahí. Mehr

el hotel para el precio que tenia estaba bien, ademas en el hotel habia gente extranjera y de aqui y sin ningun tipo de problemas en cuanto a ruidos, agusto repetiremos

Imagine 1977 and you'll love this hotel. Food is absolutely Eastern Europe standard. So if You find great pleasure in pasta, carrots and sweet corn wrapped in mayonnaise, this is defenately the place to eat!!
