Das Hotel hat die 4 Sterne voll verdient! Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Frühstück ist vergleichbar mit jedem 4 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und entsprechen auch absolut dem Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels in Deutschland.

Für unseren einwöchigen Venedigbesuch suchten wir einen idealen Ausgangspunkt und haben ihn im Hotel Ai Pini gefunden. Auf dem kleinen parkähnlichen Grundstück (etwas kleiner, als die Fotos vermuten lassen) konnten wir unser Fahrzeug die ganze Woche sicher abstellen. Ca. 15 m vor der Hotelzufahrt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle und mit der Linie 7 kann man ohne Umsteigen direkt zum Busbahnhof in Venedig fahren, wo sich auch die Vaporettostationen befinden. Die Busfahrt dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde - der Bus ist je nach Tageszeit relativ voll. Vom Busbahnhof in Venedig kann man in ein Vaporetto umsteigen oder nach Überquerung der nächsten Brücke direkt die Gassen von Venedig erkunden. Im Hotel konnten wir auch die Kombikarten Hellovenezia für Bus und Vaporetto erstehen. Diese kostete für sieben Tage fünfzig Euro pro Person und hatte sich bereits nach dem zweiten Tag gerechnet. Das Personal im Ai Pini ist absolut freundlich und sehr hilfbereit - angefangen beim Empfang bis zum sehr guten Restaurant (empfehlenswert). Es ist jedoch ratsam, die etwas größeren Zimmer möglichst mit Blick auf den Park zu wählen - darin kann man sich aber sehr wohl fühlen (auch wenn es keine Zimmer mit Balkon gibt). Alles in allem als Ausgangspunkt für Venedigbesuche sehr geeignet.
Lage
Hotel Spagna liegt in Venedig (Cannaregio). In der Nähe befinden sich: Palazzo Labia, Frari Kirche und Ca' d'Oro. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Squero di San Trovaso und Markusdom.
Ausstattung
Ein W-LAN-Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Zum Service-Angebot gehört Folgendes: Unterstützung bei der Tourenplanung und Wechselstube. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Concierge-Service, mehrsprachiges Personal und klimatisierte öffentliche Bereiche.

Besuchern, die mit dem Zug oder Bus anreisen, präsentiert sich Cannaregio als Venedigs Eingangstür und als das Viertel, in dem der Canal Grande beginnt. Es gibt zwar mit den vorbeifahrenden Kanalbooten und den Besuchern auf dem Weg nach San Marco recht viel Touristenverkehr, doch sonst ist Cannaregio ruhiger und weniger touristisch geprägt als die Innenstadt Venedigs. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zählen das Ghetto (ursprünglich eine jüdische Enklave) mit seinen Museen sowie der majestätische Palast Ca d'Oro, eines der Wahrzeichen am Canal Grande.

Wir haben unseren Hotelaufenthalt wirklich genossen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist extrem gut. Wir hatten bei der Buchung ehrlich gesagt leichte Bauchschmerzen, da das Zimmer wirklich günstig war. Wir wurden positiv überrascht und fanden ein absolut sauberes Hotel mit schön eingerichteten Zimmern und sehr nettem Personal vor. Perfect location, clean, cute little hotel. Personnel is friendly and very very helpful. Things are a little different in Europe, so don't expect 100% American hotel. For example, by American standards breakfast is small. But, you are not going to Venice for breakfast !! Overall our stay was fantastic!!!!!!

"Venice in September"
Very good located near the train station. Standard but clean and comfortable rooms with air cooling. Hotel stuff is nice and gives good information. Only negative point is the breakfast.
"Bad service!"
A old hotel, but at least clean and convenient located. We got a nice big room and even the bath room was quite big. Only the shower was just too small. The down side really is the reception staff and the service. We booked for a family of 3 and we only got a double bed. They insisted that that was it - no spare bed or anything else. We had no luck […] also with any requests (helping to carry the luggage up the stairs, posting a post card, breakfast a bit earlier, etc). "Hotel Spagna- Overpriced and not worth it"
The only good thing about this hotel is its location(near train station). The hotel is on a very busy street and our room was directly over the loud and busy street. Due to the fact that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING!! we needed to keep our windows open making it very difficult to sleep. There is also no fridges in the room and they didnt even let us […] keep our food in the hotel's fridge! And to top it all off, they don't let you keep your room key when you leave the hotel, you have to give it back to the front desk, like you're in school! "Hotel Spagna-very convenient for bus/train station"
We've just got back from staying here for 5 nights. This hotel is in a great location, near some well priced restaurants, next to the train/bus stations and about 30 minutes walk to St Mark's Square. We were in a 3 bedroom room and this was spacious, the beds were comfortable and although the shower was slightly small and cramped the bathroom was adequate. The […] only downside was the noise from reception as the staff used the printer very early and late at night. As our room was near the reception this affected our sleep at times.So try to not have a room on this floor if possible. Mehr

"Hotel Spagna in Venice"
Lovely hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. Big thing you should know, however - is that there are no elevators. So if you have a large suitcase, and it's 95-degree weather, and you end up on the 4th (top) floor ... it could get ugly.
"Convenient, comfortable, affordable"
It's a great hotel, off the main strip leading from the bus and train stations. The price was reasonable, the room was nicely sized. The annoyance was the noise coming from the main street -- ask for a room facing another direction if you want quiet at night and early morning.

"Near the station"
This was a reasonably good hotel, excellent location for the train and bus stations, especially if you experience pouring rain like we did on our arrival day. It is very near the water bus and a nice 20-30 min walk to the Rialto bridge. Breakfast is standard but enough to fill you up and the rooms are an average size. "Welcoming Place"
Four of us were traveling together and had two rooms.We were given adjacent rooms which were both clean and well kept. The manager could not have been more helpful with directions and suggestions. The location was within a five minute walk to the train station right by the canal.They even opened the breakfast room early so that we could have something […] before leaving. This was my second visit to Venice having stayed in the Dorsduro area in Decemeber. Hotel is well located for first time visitors; easy to find from bus station/train station and close to Grand Canal. 5-10 minuters promenad från bussterminal. Smidigt att ta sig till och från flygplats med ATVO. 3-4 minuters promenat till båtterminal. Mycket folk i rörelse, men ändå lugnt område. Här finns ju inga bilar. Hotellrum har god standard. Badrum verkade nyrenoverat, mycket fräscht.

"Lyxhotell"
Låt er inte luras av att detta hotell bara har 3 stjärnor. Det är i toppskick och mycket trevligt. Läget är kanon och gästvänligheten hög! Rummen är stora och bekväma med moderna ac-anläggningar.
Det eneste minus ved opholdet er morgenmaden. Det fremgår af beskrivelsen at det er Contineltal Breakfast, men desværre er dette ikke korrekt. Morgenmaden er typisk italiensk med tørt brød og søde sager.

"Hotel Spagna"
Vi börjar med de trevliga receptionisterna. Receptionisten, han låg o sov i köket kl 05:30 på morgonen när vi skulle checka ut. Luktade apa o hotellets utgång var låst o vi kunde inte lämna hotellet o höll på att missa flyget. Dålig frukost. Snålt, man fick en kopp kaffe och inget mer. Hôtel agréable et bien situé, proche de la gare et des navettes Venise-Aéroport. Néanmoins, le personnel à la réception n'est pas des plus accueillants. Qualité de service pour les petits déjeuner parfait, et une chambre au dernier étage tout à fait correcte.
