Paradise Palms A Seaside Inn - Panama City Beach

Direkt am Strand. Vom Zimmer nur 50 Meter ins Wasser. Es gibt zwei Pools, allerdings ist der mit dem Wasserfall saukalt und meistens überfüllt. Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Direkt nebenan genug Kneipen und Einkaufsläden. Frühstück war eher dürftig, man kann aber direkt nebenan ins Days Inn gehen, die Hotels scheinen zusammen zugehören.

Für den Preis ist es alles in allem gut. Die Zimmer wurden nicht immer ganz sauber gemacht (besonders der Boden war häufig sandig) und Handtücher wurden auch nicht immer aufgefüllt. Insgesamt war die Sauberbeit jedoch zufriedenstellend, kein Schimmel oder irgendwelche Insekten, Betten waren auch sauber. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön, direkt am Strand, […] mit Privatzugang. Als wir dort waren wurden jedoch gerade Sanierungsarbeiten am Gebäude (die auch dringend nötig waren) gemacht, was die Idylle entwas gestört hat. Außerdem sind die Zimmer, wie immer in den USA, sehr hellhörig. Für das Geld bekommt man allerdings wohl kaum etwas Vergleichbares. Mehr

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war sehr angenehm und ist - jedenfalls im Oktober und damit außerhalb der Hauptsaison - zur Entspannung und zum genießen der herrlichen Golfküste sehr zu empfehlen. Zustand und Instandhaltung des Hotels sind allerdings verbesserungsbedürftig.

Fast alle Türen waren kaputt. Die Klimaanalagen sin sehr veraltet, wir wechselten unser ZImmer 3 mal, es wurde nicht besser. Bei 30 Grad erwarte ich, dass zumindest eine Maschine funktioniert wo ich mir Eiswürfel holen, aber das war nicht der Fall. Es sind nicht genug Parkplätze zur Verfügung, speziell wenn Bike week ist, dann kannman das Auto nicht […] inder Nähe abstellen. Die Bilder im Internet sind sehr sehr gescönt, so sieht das Hotel wirklichnicht aus.Schon bei der Ankunft ist man sehr enttäuscht, es ist einalter renovierungsbedürftiger Kasten. das einzige shclne ist die Lobby. Traumhafte Aussicht, Blick vom Bett aufs Meer! Sonst aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen und renovationsbefürftig! Scheinbar sind aber gerade Renovationsarbeiten in Gang, jedenfalls waren viele Arbeiter vor Ort.

the hotels along the beach were all booked and I was basically forced to book a room here. there was hair in the sheets and the room ess totally out dated. I had to go out and buy bed linens for two beds just so my family could have a decent nights sleep.

I went with a friend for a week just to get away and this hotel was great. It's right on the beach with each room having a spectacular view of the gulf and it is within walking distance to EVERYTHING (food, entertainment, shopping). I loved our stay here. It's a themed hotel which includes their own pirate. The thing I liked most was this hotel was geared toward families. It offered two pools, one of which was heated. Staff was friendly rooms weren't very clean. The pool was nice. The hotel looks like it may have been nice once upon a time but needs updating and a cleaning. We had never been to panama so we didn't know what it was like before we got there and the part of town it was in, isn't what I would call a safe one.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very well. It was our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We our not high maintenance people, we are very appreciative people and we thought the hotel service and it's price were exceptional. Of course the hotel is old and shows some wear and tear, but overall the rooms were well decorated, bright, clean and very different from […] the norm. I loved the rustic appeal of it all. The surroundings outside at the beach, pools and the cave like appearance were better to me than the sterile environments of the high rise condos and hotels, where nobody knows you because their are too many people. Great location and view. Shower leaked, tub was 1/2 full upon arrival. There was construction going on in a few reasons during the day. But it wasn't too disturbing and was understandable for off season. Hotel wasn't 4or5 star but was really good for the price. Great for one or two night stay.

I stayed here with my dad and one friend,and none of us liked the place. It wasn't that clean and I did not feel safe while there Friday and Saturday night. If you are traveling with a family I would not recommend it, maybe for spring breakers or college age kids it would be fine. The only redeeming quality was that it was right on the beach.

The stay was not what I expected. The hotel did not look how it was in the pictures. much more presentable on the pictures but the overall stay was not that bad. The good things was that it was on the beach and very convenient for extracurricular activities.

pool area and beach clearly make up for it. For the rate I paid, you can't really complain. We went off season and the pool with the waterfall was literally FREEZING cold. It does not take much to heat a pool if you want to attract guests in the off months, but Spring Break is where they make their money, and I can see this hotel being party central. […] Rooms were just average but you have a balcony which again, makes up for it. Ewwwww!!! Pretty bad when you place a shirt over the pillows so that you can actually lie your head down. Sheets and pillow cases were faded and stained..it smelled like a natatorium. Typical beach property. We were there right before the spring breakers started coming in so it was so quiet. There were hardly any people there. Loved that! Fridge was super cold. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the ocean. We slept with the door to the balcony open to hear the waves. Alot of it was closed until they opened more up on Mar 2nd. But […] that was fine, as we were not staying there for their amenities. (family had a condo at another property) Room was bigger than I thought it would be. They came so early though to service the room, we were still sleeping. They never did come back so we had to call for towels that night for the next day. The room was nice and walked right out to the patio where the pool was and right down to the beach. The view of the ocean was wonderful and we were on the first floor. Joined to a Days Inn that appears to be under the same ownership but operated separately and apparently a bit cheaper, this property seems to mix a bit of quaint seaside charm with tired decor. The faux-nautical theme of the lobby and entry area sets you in the mindset of days past, hoping you don't notice the loose tiles and missing grout as you walk […] to your room. The room is surprisingly spacious. The tile floor in the room is probably a good thing, given the fine white sand that people tend to track into their rooms--this is, after all, a beachside resort: I had an enjoyable night of listening to the waves crash below my second-floor balcony. There are two pools to choose from: a small pool located in the center of this hotel and a larger landscaped pool (with rock waterfalls) situated in between this property and the Days Inn. Breakfast is taken in the Days Inn next door (whose front desk also handles check-in and issues during the nighttime, when this property's front desk is closed), but it's an easy three-minute walk over. I was happy for the price I paid, which is likely a low off-season (wintertime) rate; still, as one of the cheaper options in the area, it's probably fine anytime, especially if you just need a place to crash or are on a budget: it won't win any awards for the most romantic and memorable place to spend a vacation, but it's reasonably comfortable and clean. For $39/nt it exceeded my expectations. Wifi signal was good but data stream was very poor. Room was large and clean. It was a little run down with old/ugly but clean and comfortable bedding. Me and my fiance' came here at the end of the first week of Febuary and got an amazing deal. Four days and three nights for $131.00! The hot tub is nice and roomy. The pools were clean. This location was right on the beach so we literally walked out of our room, went down some wooden steps and were immediatly walking on the sand. Our room was super […] big. Two Queens. A desk area. Good sized bathroom with clean towels. The sheets were comfortable as was the mattress. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The only thing I can say was a bust was the continental breakfast. Me and my friends have stayed at this hotel before. We returned this time for Mardi Gras. The hotel in midst of doing some remodeling. This is an older hotel but for the price it is a good deal.

We went for the beach and the other area attractions. This met our needs just fine and the price was great. Yes, there is construction going on, but we were not disturbed by it. We did have trouble with the door locks. Could happen anywhere. The magnetic keys kept failing (four sets), but the staff were very responsive and maintenance was fast and helpful. […] We learned that a cell phone can interfere with the magnetic strip. The hotel is a beachside inn, so it has tile floors -- wear socks at night! There is a small amount of construction, although not loud. The biggest drawback is that in the winter, the lobby is closed between midnight and 8 a.m., and you have to go to Day's Inn (sister property) for breakfast. Because the lobby door is locked, you have to walk up from […] the ground floor, rather than cutting through the lobby, before the lobby opens. They did assure me that if there was a need in the night, you could dial "0," and the Day's Inn manager would answer and take care of the problem. I had no need, but it was good to know that. I imagine in the summer that the lobby is full time and the breakfast is in the Paradise Palms. All in all, this is an older property geared to the beach, but in the winter is a very reasonable price. I loved it and would stay again. Mehr

I stayed four nights in mid-winter. The room was clean and the bed comfy. It was very quiet. The view of the Gulf was superb. Room service made my bed but did not empty the trash, provide new coffee or replace dirty towels. Also no one answered at Room Service during the entire stay.
