Rooms were clean and comfy - breakfast was wonderful - service was great! Highly recommend this hotel!

The room Had two queen beds and a hide-a-bed. It was the right size for our family. The hotel was nice. The price was a little high especially when $15 was added on for taxes.

Everything was fine except for 2 items. We requested 2 adjoining rooms and a crib. When we checked in we did not get adjoining rooms and there were not any when we checked in and we did not have a crib (they had to locate one). We requested 2 adjoining rooms so the kids could sleep in one while we could watch TV in the other and not bother the kids. […] Since we had 2 kids I was in one room with one and son-in-law in another. Not to disturb my grandaughter while she selpt, I could not watch TV and was on my PC in the dark!!! Hotel did give us a "sorry" basket with candy, popcorn, free movie (which I could not watch) which was nice, but I would have wanted adjoining rooms instead!! Mehr

The hotel is easy to access from I35 and close to family restaurants. The breakfast selection is small and the items available are limited. OK to hold a traveler over until lunch. We elected to have breakfast at a local restaurant as we were not happy with the selection provided by hote..

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We had a great time, close to the schlitterbahn. Breakfast was very good. The food service attendent kept the food, coffee full and was very helpful.

My kids enjoyed the breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage along with the cold cereal, etc. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. I would stay there again.

this hotel is a great choice for people that are visiting the san antonio area, the breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and comftrble.there is one issue that the air conitioner tuned off in the night and it was hot,other than that this is a good hotel.

Overall, this hotel was decent. The beds in our room were extremely comfortable and put me right to sleep, but i did see a stain or two on the linens. There is no refrigerator or kitchen-type atmosphere, so you need a cooler or deal with the inconvenience of not being able to have your own choice of foods available. They offer continental and warm breakfast […] items, but their warm items (such as biscuits and gravy or eggs, etc.) were very disappointing as they looked/smelled/tasted like they were made from something like a powdered form of food. Although we didn't swim in the pool there, we checked it out and its a decent size/nicely kept place to swim. It is outdoors, so it is more weather permitting for each person. For the rate we paid, it was about average. I would probably stay there again but at the same time I would look around to see what else is out there. The only major complaint I have is when I went to check out, the lady at the front desk was giving me a hard time about my request for documentation of my stay. I went through a third party to make my reservation and was told that since I did that, they couldn't provide me with any type of paperwork since it's all through the third party. I made them make a copy of the paper I signed when I checked in as well as print off something that showed my days and times of check in/check out. Mehr

The plumbing was very poor the sink drain very slowly et the toliet became pulled up with very slow repair time. The sleeper sofa needed to be replaced it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. There were little bugs crawling in the bed et on the wall. The breakfast was quite nice et the homestyle restaurant was excellent.

My 9yr old son and I stayed with you because we were going to be at Natural Bridge Caverns/Wildlife Park. I chose this hotel for the location and free breakfast.. We loved this hotel because of those plus a King size bed, which my son had never seen before! A beautiful pool to cool off in! And the best of it was a game console in our room and Movies! […] Though these last 2 things are GREAT and we did use - the price to play is very expensive per hour! And the movie is out of control at 15.00 per movie! It would be nice if the price for gaming was like $10.00 for your stay and movies matched that of say, redbox or direct tv -max is 4.99. That was the only thing I was not happy with. Otherwise this was a great place to stay. If you are a smoker - the 4th floor is totally for you - the smell on that floor seeps from the walls - the other 3 floors are or seem to be smoke free. We will stay here again as we go to the San Antonio area a few times a year.. We will be back. Mehr

We had activities planned in the New Braunfels/San Antonio area and this hotel was the perfect location between the two cities. Right on I35, it provided easy access to the freeway. There were fast food as well as dine in restaurants within walking distance. The staff was outstanding and the hotel was very clean. Hotel rooms are large w/sitting area. Bkfs. was great w/fresh fruit. Great location.Easy travel to Austin and San Antonio. Many restaurants near by. Will repeat a stay.

We had a very short stay on our way to San Antonio, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Noticed a small but handy workout room. Did not see the pool because our stay was so quick.

I really don't get why this hotel only gets 2 1/2 stars, I love it. We stayed in a King Suite and it was very nice. I opted for the Suite because I wanted the refridgerator and although we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, we really enjoyed it.

We took a mini vacation and this hotel was great. We had a smoking suite which I was leery of since I do not like smoke, but they assured me that they recently had the carpet replaced and it would not be too noticeable. It was not and the beds were super comfy. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was great.

Was able to get a suite at The Hampton in Shertz for a very reasonable price. It is about a thirty minute drive to Six Flags, but for half the price of a hotel in San Antonio, this was quite a deal! Staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area again.

My husband and I LOVE the Hilton group of hotels.We generally stay at the Hampton, Doubletree, Embassy or Homewood Suites. The quality is always the same, comfortable rooms, good breakfasts and occasionally if we're lucky, freshly baked cookies. The pools (indoor and outdoor) are clean and heated to a comfortable temperature. We've enjoyed Hampton hospitality […] from Tx to Oklahoma to Iowa and north to Wisconsin. Virginia Chincoteague Hampton is a favorite, as well as the Santa Fe, NM and Longmont, Co locations. Schertz Hampton places us close to our daughter and provides easy access to lovely locations in the Texas hill country. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Great location...convenient to lots of sit-down restaurants, fast food & Walmart. Have stayed at this same hotel once before and had a good experience. We weren't disappointed at this stay. one of our few complains about this hotel was that breakfast was really aweful. the juice dispenser was dispensing something like "juice", the coffee was not good and the food looked stale.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very large (great for accomodating a family of 6) and clean. We were unable to swim because of the weather, but saw all kinds of wildlife outside our windows. It had several restaurants within walking distance, which was nice after driving in the car for hours. We would stay there again.

I would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel is exactly as advertised. Short drive to New Braunfels/Gruene. Great location for Caverns. Clean, roomy. Breakfast was good.

The Kink room we got was a nice size, but the bed was hard, the pillows were small and square, and there was no refrig., or microwave in the room. All in all, it was OK....clean, didn't have any smell.

I wasn't expecting much from a Hampton Inn, just the usual place to sleep, etc., but this place was really nice. The front desk staff seemed to go out of their way to answer any question and fulfill any requests. The place is in great shape, and the room was very clean. I would highly recommend it.
