My friend and I spent a few days of our spring break at Poseidon. It was great hotel, for students on a budget. The room was very welcoming with the view of the beach, and it was near an excellent spot to watch Mykonos' beautiful sunsets. The hotel was just a short distance away from the Mykonos' town center. The staff was always available to answer […] any of our questions, they even have a FREE shuttle to pick you up from the port/ airport and they can also take you there. Only negative thing I would say about the hotel is that the reception area is closed from 11pm until 6am. Could be a problem if there was an emergency. Mehr

Unser 2-tägiger Kurzurlaub auf Mykonos im Hotel Poseidon war sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Angestellten gastfreundlich und das Hotel liegt zentral. Zu Fuss nur ein paar Schritte vom kleinen Ort mit den vielen schönen Geschäften und Restaurants. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet hat auch keine Wünsche offengelassen.

Ich buchte dieses Hotel ohne große Erwartungen, da wir nur eine Schlafgelegenheit für eine Nacht benötigten und der Preis paßte. Wir waren aber sehr zufrieden, weil wir an diesen einen Abend die Stadt leicht zu Fuß (5 Minuten) erreichen und so Mykonos und sein Nachleben kennenlernen konnten. Es ist ein wirklich schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage, wenn […] man am Nachtleben teilhaben möchte. Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen großartigen Pool. Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter den Windmühlen und bietet eine großartige Aussicht. Die Zimmer waren nichts Besonders, aber auf jeden Fall sauber und komfortabel. Unseres hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit einer schönen Aussicht. Mit dem Hotelpersonal hatten wir aufgrund unsers kurzen Aufenthaltes nicht viel zu tun, es war aber sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war großartig. Für einen Kurzurlaub ist es wirklich weiterzuempfehlen. Ein Nachteil ist aber, dass sich kein Badestrand in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet. Mehr

This hotel was awesome in location, service and Staff. We did Europe tour for 31 days and visited 7 countries, out of which I would really rate this hotel as one of the best per it's service, price, staff etc. Lets start 1) Entered my room which was 2-3, and it was pretty close to the bar but had very good view, as we were in honey moon my wife and […] I dont want any disturbance, so we requested for another room, and the lady in reception, changed with no questions and given us 2-8 ( and I got one of the very best views of Wind mills and Sea), it's was so sweet of her for providing us one of the best room. Our stay in hotel was the best (view, comfort, Jacuzzi etc) and also fantastic breakfast with very nice staff. 2) My wife forgotten her wallet in the room and we checked out and we found about it when we returned to US. So we called the Hotel and requested to look for it in the room, and as usual receptionist was very sweet and replied that they found the wallet and after we provided the USA address they mailed it to us. This was pretty good for all the staff. tehy are very well mannered and helpful. I didnt experienced no hiccups while staying in this hotel. this is real gem 3) pickup and drop off was awesome too that person is very helpful Mehr

I have lived in Greece for 7 years and have spent countless holidays on the Greek Islands dating back to 1985. The Poseidon Hotel and Suites is the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The combination of Location, Hotel amenities, Hotel staff/service make for a truly remarkable property.

The Breakfast in this place rocks - with a fresh Orange juice machine :) very clean with good views and an awesome balcony in most rooms.. This hotel is a bit away from the main downtown area - which could be good or bad. We would have preferred to stay a bit closer to the main town area but overall we had a good stay... If you want to see more of the island than just downtown then this is a good location as lots of scooter rentals are around there and you can avoid driving in the narrow downtown streets.. Mehr

This hotel is close to the main town so easy to access everything. The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated so although our room was small it was spotless. The pool was large and the pool side bar was great. Also if a big breakfast is your thing, this hotel will not disappoint.

We stayed here October 14th 2012 for a week. The hotel is towards the top of the town ideally sited for the bus station and close to the main shopping areas.The hotel arrange to collect you from airport or port and also do this when you depart which is a great service. It is quite a large hotel with large comfortable rooms with small balconies. There […] is a good sized swimming pool with a wide selection of seating and loungers. There is also a bar although we never used it. We had a great power shower with plenty of hot water, a small fridge and reasonable air conditioning. There is a free room safe. We were very impressed with the breakfasts with superb freshly squeezed orange juice and a wide selection of cereals, fruits, breads and cold and hot breakfast items. Plenty of positives especially the price which is very attractive for a relatively expensive island. The negatives are minor and would include the occasional shortage of items at breakfast (we could have got up earlier!) and a general air of damp in some of the rooms. Not enough to spoil a holiday but gives a sense of the need for some general updating. Mehr

We had a wonderful deluxe room with a steam shower and jet tub, with a view of the sea. Breakfast every morning was very good. One of the first places where we could find multigrain bread! Really liked the staff, pool, and location but we booked a superior room only find out the rooms one level down had a better view of the pool. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and not usuable in our room (200 series). Would still stay here again as it was one of the few pools we found still open in Geeece in October.

The Hotel was wonderful, large room, clean, plenty of hot water. Free wireless internet. Our balcony had a wonderful view of the windmills of Mykonos and we could sit and watch the sun set. Really impresed with this Hotel. Location was great as we visited Delos and this Hotel is just on the edge of the town, so no noise but walking distance to taverna and old port. Great location for exploring Old Town Mykonos - 5 min walk along the pathway by the water and you are at the windmills and the start of restaurants and their 'Little Venice'. Staff was warm and accommodating. Good breakfast and always well stocked. After a hot day of wandering or exploring Delos it was nice to come back to a beautiful large pool for […] some lounge time. Love the Island of Mykonos. The hotel is very close to town and I have paid vastly more to stay at another hotel in the past in the same district. I would recomend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay close to Mykonos Town

We did not receive a room of the quality we had signed up for. Specifically, my wife and I had a confirmed reservation for a non-smoking room with a double bed and I chose an upgraded double plus room. We got a room with two twin beds pushed together and the room had a heavy, bitter cigarette smoke smell in it. The room was in a second row of rooms […] and had an obstructed view of the water, where the rooms in the front row had an unobstructed view. There seemed to be nothing "double plus" about the room, as compared to other rooms in the facility. When I went and asked about this, no other room was offered, nor any price discount. Apparently, the hotel was full. That said, we nonetheless liked the hotel very much and would gladly go back, though I'd call ahead and confirm that we would be getting what we ordered. The location is very convenient to the town center and right by a nicely finished elevated walk along the rocky hill tops to the famous windmills that are only 5 minutes away. Also, we preferred swimming here to swimming at the famous Paradise Beach. Though, the location was also favorable to going to Paradise Beach, and we were able to walk there in 30 minutes. We compared this hotel to others and rate this one superior to most other choices that we saw ourselves. There is a nice pool area with a resort feel to it. Lastly, bring snorkel gear. The area by the hotel is great for snorkeling. The transportation from and to the airport, wifi and breakfast were fine. Mehr

Friendly staff, big room and comfortable bed. 5-10 minute walk to town along main street. There are a lot of steps around the hotel which might not suit some. I would definitely stay here again though!

The Poseidon Suites are very comfortable and clean in a great location. Close to the bus station, shops and any other needs on a holiday. the harbour is a short walk as is Little Venice with the gorgeous shops and picturesque cobble stone streets. A place worth visiting and a hotel worth staying on your next trip to Mykonos.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. location was excellent. had a beautiful view of the sea from the bedroom, and hotel had very good facilities at the pool. the one area the hotel could improve on would be more comfortable beds/mattresses, but I definitely would not hesitate to stay there again.

I traveled with my mother to visit for 4 days Myknos Island. The hotel is Well located, the staff is friendly especially the person making the airport transfers. Delicious breakfast buffet. The shower had problems in the evacuation of water (drainage). Lacking only clean under the beds, but the rest all very good It would be ideal to have more options […] in English tv. as one of history or music videos. 99% of the channels was in Greek: 0 (. This hotel was the BEST CHOICE in our trip to Greece. AMAZING location very close to the center of Mykonos and near all places to rent either a car/moto. I would stay again in a heart-beat. I loved that it was in the heart of the town (but just far enough from the business to be quiet at night). The pool and view of the ocean was phenomenal. Very nice hotel in the centre of Mykonos - a short walk to the windmills, Little Venice. Great pool/bar area. Close to the bus depot and car hires. But still quiet and secluded. Helpful staff. Beds good. Balcony overlooking the bay. Breakfasts with lots of choice. And very affordable.

I can't imagine a better experience in Mykonos. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. It's within walking distance to any destination in the village itself. You can rent a scooter or 4x4 200 meters away. The breakfast buffet is superb. And each room has a view of the sea to boot.
