"Too much hassle!"
Our room was beautiful and quite comfortable and the neighborhood offered restaurants and night clubs within distance. The hassle came from the lack of organization on behalf of the hotel. We stayed in Victorville to attend a wedding and this hotel was recommended to all of the guest. I made my reservations and all was good until two days before the […] date I received an email stating that they overbooked and I needed to call to relocate. Instead of calling the given number, I called hotels.com and received great customer service and they worked with the hotel to confirm my reservation. The day of wedding as I'm getting my belongings together, again I receive an email and this time a phone call and text message. The woman I spoke to confirmed that I was out of luck and worked with me to find another hotel, in which I wasn't happy with. In the end, I received a call from friends whom walked in and found that there were rooms available. I called hotels.com again and this person was able to confirm my room. When I arrived to the hotel, the receptionist was very sweet and accomodating, but it was obvious that the hotel was unorganized. They took my credit card information and I found that they billed me on top of my hotels.com charge (in which I still need to settle). Checked in and had reserved a double queen room and when we got to the room it was the nicest suite we have ever stayed in. CLEAN and neat and updated. Great friendly staff and the best hot breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. Bacon, hash browns, eggs, waffles, the works. The price was more than reasonable and we enjoyed our stay immensely. "Pretty Good-Considering Other Local Competition"
Very good of a kind especially considering the area. New property so everything is vert clean and in order (August 2012). No bar or restuarant but they do have a free breakfast that is the usual for these type of offerings. Good resturants in the area (try Pancho Villa for Mexican food). There is no fine dining in the Vicorville area. the restaurants […] are the usual national chains. Liked the layout of the rooms-very fuctional. Very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definately be staying there again if I have the need to go back to Victorville.
