Oak Square Condominiums - Gatlinburg

Location was perfect for access to the convention center. Also off the main drag and all the traffic, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Plumbing was subpar (slow drains) and bathroom needs renovated. Good value for the price and could be nice with renovations and updating.

The room is for 2 people only. Light bulbs were out everywhere. No water pressure in the shower. Great location and priced right for a downtown Gatlinburg room. Would stay here again.

It was a good experience. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool since it was a little chilly out. I guess the only thing missing was the breakfast bar that we are used to getting in hotels.

We stayed in room 202, it was clean but very outdated, the furniture was from the late 60's early 70's, but we did have fun!

It was nice, but alot outdated. I was happy it had a refridgerator, and a microwave as I had a 4 month old baby with me. It was within walking distance to the town.

This was a small room, but very nice. Perfect for a couple. Hotel service was not the most helpful. No one was in office when we arrived for check-in. The jacuzzi was green (ugh!), but the indoor pool was very nice and well maintained.

Check-in was simple and quick! We stayed in room 415, which was very clean and updated. This condo is in good walking distance to everything! The indooor pool area was very clean as well! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again! Would recommend to others!

Very small condo that was dated and in poor condition. The kitchenette only had two burners, and NO pots & pans. When we called the front desk to request a "chili pot" & frying pan they delivered a 1 quart sauce pan and a 10 inch frying pan and told us that was all they could find!! The microwave didn't work and the fridge was a small floor fridge for […] a dorm room. The only good thing about this room was the location: it's right behind the Tram, on the "shopping strip." The bed was very comfortable as well. The pool & hot tub closed at 10:00pm- NO EXCEPTIONS for their guests. Bathtub floor appeared as if it hadn't been cleaned in months!! It was black. Mehr

First of all when i went to check innthe lady was very disrespectful. It was around 1230 when we got there and the office door was locked so we waited about 15 mins and a lady showed up around 1245 so i went to ask if it was possible to check inn early bc i requested a 1 o'clock checkin when i booked the hotel online. I told her my name and asked if […] it was ok to go ahead and check in she said in her rude tone "check in time was at 3 so i would have to come back later" i got rude rite back with her and told her i reuested a early check in time she said very rudly just bc you request a early check in does not mean the room will be ready. Then when i asked her about the room card that said aravl on it she changed her atatude torwards me and then was tryin to be nice and i told her that she should save her breathe bc im not hearing that after she disrespected me. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN BC THERE WAS NO CLEAN SHEETS AND TH WOMEN AT THE FRONT DESK WAS RUDE Mehr

Great location and hotel staff were friendly; however, the unit needs some maintenance work. Refrigerator froze everything (adjusting temperature did not help). Bathroom sink trickled water and shower was almost impossible to regulate temperature.

Other than a small bathroom, the condo had plenty of room. I will admit that the furnishings where sort of "flea market chic", but I look for value and comfort - not style. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub where both clean and well maintained. The guy at the front desk was extremely freindly and helpful and the location is second to none if you […] are going to spend much time on the Parkway shopping, eating, and being a tourist. I guess my only "real" complaint is that the way it is layed out and furnished, there isn't a lot of places to spread out luggage (no little folding stands) and we had to set some stuff on the floor. This is definitely a place I will go back to as long as the price stays right. Mehr

Room was good value....located well for all Gatlinburg. Room very outdated and old with musty smell.

We were so happy with our lodging choice! We only had 2 people but our room could have comfortably slept 6 people. Very clean and very close to the main strip. The only thing wrong was the balcony door didn't lock, but we left a window open all day on accident that could have easily been climbed into and nothing happened. Two pools. Newly redone room ...was beautiful.

Location for the condo was perfect for us staying with a small child. One block from the strip, and close walking distance to pretty much everything. My only issue with Oak Square is the fact that all of the rooms are different. Our room was extremely dated. from the dishes to the carpet and decor. We booked this condo at 9:30pm after we could not get into the condo we had booked at another location due to a double booking of the same condo. They were very accomodating and got someone to help us get into the condo and even helped us look for other properties that were available for the following nights since we were originally planned to stay […] in the area for 3 days. The condo was nice, clean, only had a cook top. Decor was a bit dated but we didn't spend too much time looking at it to make it matter. Do to some cancelations were were able to stay here for 3 nights and they were able to shift some other bookings around to keep us from moving from one unit to another. We couldn't have asked for a better condo and staff to work with on a good day, let alone when our vacation plans fall through at 9pm after a long day of driving. Mehr

We were mostly satisfied with our stay. The wi-fi isn't the best in the world....super slow to load anything. Almost not even worth logging in. The pool ladder in the indoor pool broke when my 12-yr old stepped on it. One of the two tv's in our condo didn't have a clear picture at all. Not a very clear way to walk to the Parkway...we wound up going […] through a very tiny alley. Guess you get what you pay for! Mehr

I thought the room was a great price for what was included. I needed an iron and it was provided right away. It was quiet, the bed comfortable. I would go back.

We had a very nice room with no problems. Will stay again!

This condo was updated and very nice. Great location - close to several attractions. Our family would recommend Oak Square Condominiums to everyone!

the stay was very good,we had trouble what our first room and toney the desk clark change our room.and he give us and every better room,so i would like to say our stay was grate.i will stay again when we come back to tn.

The room was comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was right next door to the entrance of the park.

Decent hotel, clean condo, clean pool. Off the path by a block, so quiet but easy walking distance. Slightly different because it's a condo association rather than a formal hotel, but for this area basic decent lodging.

Loved our room! WONDERFUL location (right next to the tram, walking distance from the strip). The room was not the most updated, but the decor fit the scenery. Having a kitchenette was nice although we used it very little (just lunch mainly). The staff was courteous and helpful. Our room had a nice view of the mountains (room #115). For anyone who wrote […] a bad review...Either you should be staying at home or you are just a negative person in general.The price of the room was MORE than fair for the experience we had. Location was the best!! Plenty of room 2 pools, one indoor and 1 outdoors..Walking distance from everything, you can travel river rd to reach bypass and smoky mountains with out the traffic of the Parkway! Next to OBER tram!!

Seating worn out,tv's outdated

Wonderful place. Me and my kids loved it. we walked everywhere and enjoyed the location, Hope to stay there again.

We loved this hotel, it was 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, lots of room, and mainly it had a big kitchen... We really enjoyed being there.. It was very clean... And close to everything which we really liked... Had a heated pool inside and an outdoor pool... We recommend this hotel to anyone...

My family and I felt very comfortable here and the renovations were great. Having three pools on site (one perfect for my two year old) was a nice treat as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable stay. Had to change rooms to a 2 bedroom unit because our son came with us and they were able to accomodate. The unit was the same as we stayed in a few years ago and pleasantly had been updated with new floors, tvs and counter tops. Loved the pool and hot tub. Definitely would recommend and come back to. Close to downtown so we walked everywhere […] and left the car parked. Mehr

We stayed in unit 413 the bed was wore out the sofa sleeper was a joke very out dated needs alot of work.

this is the second time we stayed here.... close to convention center and easy walks to fine restaurants and parkway. It's not the Four Seasons but it was clean and worked just fine

The rooms were dated decor, but more importantly clean. The location was at the end of the strip, but still with in walking distance to the shops and to eat.

We did not stay in room much during our trip. Room was a little outdated. Personally, I think room is slightly overpriced considering. Fireplace was nice touch, although we did not use. Overall okay.

Was hesitant to book a room here for a weekend getaway after reading some of the reviews. However, it sounded like they are renovating rooms starting on the 4th floor since some of the reviews mentioned great rooms on this floor. I went ahead and booked and called the office to request a room on the 4th floor. Young man was very accomodating and we […] stayed in room 414 which was great! The property is definitely older but it is evident they are renovating. The property is in a great location within walking distance of the Parkway. My teen daughter loved the indoor pool...it wasn't extremely large but was clean and warm. I really enjoyed the privacy of the separate bedroom with a balcony. The queen bed was very comfortable. All kitchen utensils are provided, coffee pot with filters included but coffee is not. Will definitely stay here again! If you are looking for a posh, extravagant room, this one is not for you. If you are looking for a comfortable, above-average, well-priced room, you will not be disappointed. Mehr

Decent room and facilities. Conveniently located in Gatlinburg. It was nice not to have to look for a parking spot in downtown Gatlinburg. Room was old but comfortable. Good for the money.

Good location for walking to the main attractions. Room very comfortable with room to move around! Older units, and does not have all the fancy updates, but we were not going to stay in the room all day and did not require anything else. Kitchenette had toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, refrig, and stove top. Plus all the dishes and utensils we […] needed. The room was clean, comfortable and convenient and we were very pleased. We visit Gatlinburg frequently and will definitely stay again at the Oak Square. Mehr

The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. We didn't want to have to eat out the entire time that we were visiting, but also didn't want to pay for an expensive cabin when it was just two of us. It was an excellent price for the convience that it offered. We also loved the fact that we were in the middle of Gatlinburg and didn't have to worry […] about driving and finding somewhere to park. The condominium was in a good location, right next to Ober Gatlinburg and about a block from the main strip. However, the room was a little out dated. The rooms were clean but the bed and sleeper sofa had horrible mattresses. The beds mattress felt like you were sinking to the floor every time you got on it and the sleeper sofas mattress was very thin […] and lumpy. The exterior of the sofa was not very clean either and the sheets on it had not been changed in a while. There was no coffee and very little hot water. The exterior might have been going through a remodel because the room numbers were written on blue painters tape over all the 4th floor doors. Plus there were several lights either missing or out at and around the elevators. The good qualities were the location and the indoor and outdoor pools which were very nice. Otherwise, the room was not worth the price. Mehr

Clean quiet rooms, elevator,ample parking, friendly hosts.

enjoyed stay very much...it is just one block off parkway...trolly runs right next to it...i would reccommend it to anyone and would stay again...desk personnal was very nice and helpful
