Park Inn by Radisson Cardiff North - Cardiff

The hotel location was chosen due to its proximity to the A48 and Cardiff University accommodation. Used as a stopover for returning to Uni., the rooms were comfortable and modern, large flat screen TV, comfortable bed with mattress protector/topper. Excellent hotel, clean and convenient

Nowhere on my booking form did it say that breakfast was not included in the ''Standard room rate.'' I was under the impression that breakfast was included. Nowhere did it mention room only. I was not happy to have to pay extra on checkout. I think that Hotels.com should make it absolutely clear on booking form, as to what/what is not, included.

Reaal good hotel, with a really great atmosphere. Only a short bus trip to town centre for millenium stadium. really recommend this if you are going their. Rooms are all up to date and clean. food is also decent at a good price too. Well worth it.

The staff were unfriendly. The room was booked as a double but it was two single beds pushed together with two single duvets. The bar staff were unfriendly and could not produce a menu. Drinks were overpriced 4.10 for a pint of Coke. Car park was unsecure despite advertised as secure car parking. Overall not what was advertised.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early July 2011. The hotel has a large free car park and is easy to get to. It was several miles from Cardiff Centre but buses were available from quite near the hotel. Our room was on the small side but had been refurbished to a high standard, although some of the public areas could still do with some updating/decorating. […] A cooked and continental breakfast buffet was available. All staff were very friendly. When we stayed the swimming pool, sauna and jucuzzi were closed for maintenance which was dissapointing. Mehr

Comfortable no frills utility hotel. Not a choice for a holiday but useful enough for a short stay in Cardiff. If you want somewhere quiet and out of the way of the noisy city centre then this place is ideal. The hotel itself was ok but what ruined it for me was the cost of connecting to their wi-fi - £5 for 20 mins or £12 for an hour! And there was nothing on their website saying that it was even charged for, let alone their extortionate rates! It's simply listed with other facilities such as the swimming pool, car parking, tea and coffee, etc, all of which […] are free. I could have stayed at the Travellodge up the road for considerably less and paid £5 an hour for the Internet or at the Village Hotel for the same price as Park Inn and had free Internet. The member of staff on Reception said he couldn't do anything about it and that there was no manager available - there wasn't during the whole of my stay apparently. I also wrote to their Customer services department immediately following my stay and have as received no acknowledgement or reply. In general, the hotel isn't bad but in my opinion, it's facilities are well below those of similar hotels such as the Village, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and their charges for Internet access are extremely unreasonable to put it mildly. I had difficulty finding the hotel because I was looking for a Radisson Hotel and Park Inn was the biggest sign. The Hotel was in a housing estate which was it was not what I expected. My error really. The hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful. I would recommend this to any one.

When booking this hotel I needed somewhere close to the hospital for 4 nights and choose this one due to the gym. Pros: A gym, big rooms, close to the hospital. Cons: Expensive compared to other basic hotels. Even though this hotel was one of the most expensive and I was there for 4 nights the checkin guy abruptly told me I did not have a B&B rate […] and so would have to pay £10 a day if I wanted breakfast. Friends staying close by a equally basic hotels paying £20 a night less got breakfast. Also room service would make my bed but leave my towels exactly where I left them after my shower and so I would return to still damp towels. Finally hotel is out of the way if you wish to go into town at night as it is a £10 taxi either way. Overall I would not stay again. Mehr

Easily located as you come off the motorway. A very clean and comfortable hotel with large and very comfy bed and great shower. We had a special rate for the evening and found the hotel to be excellent value. The breakfast in the morning was excellent although the staff were a little slow in topping things up that had run out. All in all a very good […] stay. Mehr

Nothing special, nothing truely dreadful. Restaurant & bar nothing to get excited about. Just like 100s of hotels around the country. It was the only place left in Cardiff the weekend of our stay due to a concert at the stadium. It's a way out of town but does have a good bus link a short walk away that is a cheap & plenty of taxis-not so cheap

The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre but the price and facilites make up for it. The room was very nice and the pool, sauna, spa-pool and steam room made for a nice start to the day. I didn't eat in the resturant because it looked a bit pricey. Parking in Cardiff is very expensive and the free car park the hotel has was very valuable. […]  However, the taxis do rip you off. I drove into the city before check-in and it took a couple of minutes. When I got a taxi later on that night, they took a different route which took twice as long. I had a debate with the driver but it's hard to argue without the sat-nav! Having said that, that wsn't the hotels fault. Overall, a nice hotel which I'd go back to in the future. Mehr

Una muy buena elección. Equilibrio cadad precio. Muy limpio, cómodo y acogedor. Quizas algo lejos del centrpo d la ciudad pero los alrededores eran hermosos. Muy reconmendable.
