the hotel was very good for shopping in coventry. i had a room at the front which was very noisy with the traffic from the main road. As hotel was almost empty perhaps they should allocate guests at back of hotel first. bedroom was ok but in need of redecoration, also bathroom could do with replacing grouting etc to bring up to good standard. but otherwise […] staff very helpful and polite and nothing too much trouble for them. would stay again. Hotel was clean, but beware the walls are very thin - we could even hear the springs on the bed next door never mind the rest of it!

If you stay away from the food, everything will be all right. They seem to be amateurs in cooking and serving food. Everything else was very good for the price I paid. Will probably stay again but go to the McDonalds nearby.

I arrived early evening, parked easily and found check-in to be fast and efficient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Dinner was adequate and suitably priced. I would recommend the hotel to anyone needing a short term base in Coventry.

2nd time here, another good night

The heating was not working but the staff soon provided a fan heater. Parking was always available but some of the spaces were very tight. Not good if you have a large car! Staff pleasant.

Have not stayed in Coventry before and was unsure what to expect. On arriving att he hotel was unsure from the road but once into the car park felt more hopeful. Although conveniently situated to the town centre, the attitude and behaviour of the senior staff leaves much to be desired. We were treated in a very offhand manner. We would have used the restaurant, but having been treated so badly, we decided to eat elsewhere.

i wasnt happy that because i used a discount voucher i didnt get a breakfast i dont call that a discount its taking something away to get the discount so i would tell anyone to be careful when booking

Very good hotel and very friendly would deffo recomend and go there again and again good value for money :)

I picked this hotel because it was near the city centre and I wasn't disappointed. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the decor and cleanliness and the size and comfort of the room (massive double bed!). It was easy to find and only five minutes walk from the city centre. I think the only down side might be where your room was […] as there was a disco on at night (either a birthday or wedding) and we heard someone complaining about the noise, as her room was over the disco. We didn't have that problem at all. Very happy with our stay and will use again as our son has just started University at Coventry and it is extremely handy. PS. The ring road is a nightmare!! Mehr

A poor hotel, with incompetent and rude staff. The rooms are dated, the carpet looked liked it had been around since the 19th Century and the whole hotel stunk! Not sure how it got 3 stars. I would never recommend this hotel.

The advance rate we paid was cery competitive so we were unsure of the quality we would get. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was brught, clean and the furnishing were up to date. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast for a reasonable price, too,

The hotel is located within walking distance of Coventry town centre. Also, the bus stop to town is just around the corner from the hotel. The small shop located across the road is real handy. Our room was clean and comfortable with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities available. Some noise from passing traffic was irritating […] at times. The Continental Breakfast was very good. We opted for the cooked breakfast on our day of departure. It was horrible. Small portions, very greasy and the sausage was not fully cooked. Mehr

Reception staff were welcoming but restraunt staff were having attitude especially 'mayank'. Service was horrible in restraunt. We were made to wait 45 minutes for garlic bread and 25 -30 minutes before he came to take orders from us for breakfast and that too it was only after we got up and checked with Mayank. He was probably treating us this way […] as we were Asians as we saw him taking orders quickly from caucasians. Will never go back to restraunt again. Hotel as such was ok Mehr

The public areas of this hotel are really nice, the room however! There was no hot water in the shower, but unbearable hot in the sink taps. There were 3 lamps in our room and the only one which worked was sat next to the kettle, not the 2 on the bedsides. I have never slept on such a flat bed in my life, the matress was so worn you could feel every […] spring and even the springs had no spring left. The bedroom window wouldn't shut. Very nice, clean hotel. only downside was no wi-fi in the bedrooms, only in the lobby. otherwise fab hotel.

Spent three nights in this friendly ,apparantly Family run hotel. Any small problems were instantly solved , once highlighted to the Staff. Very friendly Staff were multi -skilled with no demarcation. The first person you contacted fixed the problem whether it was their responsibility or not - how refreshing. I am not a lover of Indian Cuisine but […] the two dinners I had in the Hotel were excellent and extremely good value. Some areas of the Hotel are undergoing refurbishjment but work noise was NOT a problem and was kept to a minimum. Unreserved recommendation. Mehr

greeted by really friendly staff everytime we came abd went 10 mins walk into the centre of coventry so very handy

The Hotel was difficult to drive to with road systems. There were dark stains on the bedroom carpet. Breakfast was pleasant. The reception staff insisted that we had NOT already paid on arrival, despite being shown the Hotel ,com confrmation email print out (that clearly stated prepaid at time of booking)) WE had to telephone you to sort out THEIR […] ERROR. Friendly, helpful staff. One of the best croissants I have eaten in the UK for breakfast. Good location if you want to walk into Coventry city centre.

Very convenient location plus car parking and in easy reach of City centre. Very helpful staff, keen to please. Rooms and bed were good size, very clean but decoration a little tired. We have no complaints and would happily return there.
