Wir waren absolut zufrieden und würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Was erst einmal ungewöhnlich war, dass das WC und die Dusche nur durch eine Schiebeglaswand vom eigentlichen Zommer getrennt war.

Die Lage des Hotels kann kaum besser sein. Man hat die U-Bahn, den Aerobus (Bus Flughafen- Plaza Catalunya), die Busse zur Stadtbesichtigung und die "normalen" Busse direkt vor der Nase! Das Frühstück haben wir mit dem Zimmer gebucht. Nicht billig, eher etwas teuer. Dafür ist das Buffet absolut grossartig!!! Eine kleine Auswahl gefällig? Zb: 4-6 versch. […] Sorten Brot, div. Konfitüren und Bienenhonig, div. Kuchen, Fleischbuffet, Lachs, Rührei, ca. 7 Sorten Früchte ( mundgerecht geschnitten) und ganz viel mehr!!!! Der einzige Negativpunkt: es ist in der Nacht oft etwas laut. Dies aber nicht von aussen, sondern vom Hotel (Gäste oder Personal?) selber. Dies kann man etwas dämmen, indem man die Fenster geschlossen lässt! Mehr

Hotel was very convenient. Close to everything. Airport shuttle was across the street from the hotel, Shopping meca surrounding the hotel. La Rambla was one block. Tour bus was a cross the street. Breakfast buffet was great. Weather was great. Highly recommend hotel. Front hotel door was alway opened for me by the hotel doorman. Conveniently located at the top of the Ramblas. Airport bus and subway stops quite close. Modern hotel, clean and efficient. Good front desk staff. Did not try the restaurant so no opinion. Would stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and would recommend it very highly. Its very clean room and good quick hotel staff service. The staff were friendly and helpful even with our cheeky 3 year old! Great location as the Barcelona aerobus services stops about 30metres away at Plaza Catalunya which is a cheap and quick way to get into town from the airport. […] Its close to the main tube stop, close to La Rambla street and main shopping area, which was good for us to go visit attractions. The rate may seem high but it was worth it, as the location was great and in the city centre, its got a good new trendy style room, general cleanliness and nice hotel staff. A few things that might be an issue are as follows: Our bedroom had electric blinds which make a bit of noise when operating up/down, which means you can hear your neighbouring rooms blinds. Not sure that the rooms are actually soundproof, as thats virtually impossible regardless of what the website says, trust me as i work in construction! Try to check the room layout as ours had a structural column almost in the middle, so ask them for a room floor layout plan to check. Despite being at the rear of the hotel we still heard noise (restaurant downstairs) when it got very loud, but i assume its better than staying in a room at the front of the hotel. The TV in the room was a bit small at probably about 24 inches, so it would have been nice to get a decent tv with decent channels for when you want to chill with the kids or watch a film in english language. We did not arrange for breakfast as part of the deal, so the one time we did, it was very expensive for the two of us. Overall its a very good hotel and we recommend it. Mehr

Excellent location and service. Great staff. This is the place to stay if you visit Barcelona. Close to all important must-see places and easy transportation. Don't look further. This is the place to stay!!!!

The rooms are modern but we found the design (particularly the bathroom) a bit irritating. Shower room enclosure was not sealed well resulting to water spillover to bathroom floor. Everyday we had to use our towels to soak up the water on the floor. Bedroom area was spacious and bed comfortable. Flat TV was quite small though (about 17") to allow one […] to read tickers on news channels from our bed. I've never made comments before on any of our hotel stays and we stayed in several ones on this last tour of Spain. But this time I felt I had to share because I didn't read any similar comments about Olivia's bathrooms in any of the previous comments. Mehr

These hotel rooms have wonderful floor to ceiling windows with fabulous views over Placa de Catalunya at the front or the Gothic Quarter at the back, with blackout blinds for a good nights sleep. BUT this hotel also has some awful interior rooms that are like dungeons with a tiny window looking into a corridor. The room is black as night during the […] day, but at night the lights from the corridor shine onto your pillow - no blinds in these rooms. Make sure you don't get one of these dreadful rooms. Mehr

Location is good- very near to La Rambla walking/shopping mall, popular stores and short walk to the airport bus stop. Design of hotel room is modern. Sliding door of toilet & shower is a bit troublesome to open/close. Good if electric kettle can be provided in the room especially during the winter season.

We arrived from the airport by bus and the hotel was about a minutes walk from the bus stop. The hotel is very contemporary, almost to a point where it lacks a "cozy" feel. However, it was very clean and the staff were fantastic. Sadly no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.!! I had previously read this in a review so took my travel kettle (sad […] I know) The location is fantastic, I was a little worried when we first arrived that it would be noisy, however once inside the hotel you could not hear the outside street noise at all. There were 2 computers in the lounge area and internet use was free of charge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fine, it would have been nice to have a room with a bath. Breakfast not included in our room rate, we ate at various cafes nearby each morning as the hotel breakfast was expensive. I would use this hotel again but would perhaps upgrade to a room with a bath and a little more space. On the whole a good hotel. Mehr

I believe we paid far too much for this hotel considering what it offers. The rooms are tiny, there are no lamps for reading, etc. just overhead spot lights, no carpeting, no drawers to store clothing, or a place to put your bags. We stayed four nights, but only because we could not get out of our prepaid/no refund "great deal". Otherwise we would have […] checked into another hotel offering more for the money. Hotel was really comfortable and stylish.. there was no wifi in the room but nothing else to fault. Location is perfect for wandering around Lisbon and the staff were really helpful with ideas and travel assistance. Bar is gorgeous as is the pool - although these are in the sister hotel next door. would definately recommend :)

The only draw back is the fact that there is not a wall and a door separating the bathroom from the room. The toilet door is a sliding frosted glass door. Otherwise the room is very comfortable and the people are extremely nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast is vast and delicious. The downtown location is perfect. Overall, I recommend the hotel.

Good location but would not stay at hotel again. In their effort to maximize utilization of limited space, room design was not to liking (bathroom sink felt like it was in the middle of the room). View from the room looked out into hallway, other room doors and elevator. Staff very indifferent.

The hotel is super close to the train station and is walking distance to all major attractions in Florence. The hotel was very modern and clean. Overall a good value.

Fantastic location. Hotel has a contemporary decor. The customer service is exellent, we complained about the blind not working, someone was sent up immediately to rectify it. The concierge / bellboy is great, he gave us advice on places to visit, etc... He tipped us on free admission to the Picasso Museum on Sundays from 3-8pm, that saved us 20 Euros. Only […] criticisms are that besides BBC and CNN, there are no other English speaking channels/ programmes. It was hilarious watching Mission Impossible 3 in Spanish. Also there is no tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Maybe that isn't a culture of the Spanish, although there seems to be lots of cafes / starbucks around Barcelona. If you are sharing the room with someone other than your partner, you may feel a little uneasy as the door to the toilet/shower is made of tainted glass and you could still see a silhouette of the person in the shower. I love the shower, great if you like power showers especially after a hot day out. Having wifi throughout the hotel is a real plus. You could check out reviews of places recommended to you prior to setting off. Also, if you would like to experience a Flamenco Dance, booking in advance (>24 hours) would save you a few euros compared to booking through the hotel last minute. A very bustling city. Las Ramblas although full of character, you have to be very cautious with pickpockets. The open top bus (Bus Tourista) which covers all the tourist destinations in Barcelona boards just across the road from the hotel in Plaza Catalunya. A piece of advice would be there before 10am, otherwise there would be a long queue to get up the bus. Also stop at Sagrada Familia first as there would be long queues too, especially to get up the lift to see the skyline view of Barcelona from the top of Sagrada Familia. Queues to Casa Batllo are shorter in comparison. Try to avoid the restaurants on Las ramblas. Paella aren't great. We enjoyed tapas in a little restaurant called Lonja De Tapa Mehr

This was in a great location in Barcelona, especially if it is your first trip there. It is in the heart of the city and on the edge of a few sections... las ramblas, the gothic area and L'Eixample. So you could walk easily to many popular destinations.

I thought this hotel was fantastic!! Great location, very comfortable!

I will absolutely stay here again when I go back to Barcelona! It has the best location and the hotel looks new and very well decorated! It is located steps away from the city tour bus main stop. Very convenient! Also next to "La Rambla"

This hotel is in a great location, very close to La Rambla, metro stations and a lot of restaurants. The staff at the hotel was incredible, very friendly and helpful. My room had floor to ceiling windows with a great view. The hotel courtyard was great place to chill out after a day of walking around. The only issue was the bathroom, it was a little […] uncomfortable the way is layout, especially when you are sharing the room with two other people. The shower share a sliding door with the toilet and is not an actual bathroom, the room just has a partial wall that divide the bathroom area from the rest of the room, it is not privet at all. I definitely will stay again at this hotel! Mehr

Modern style European hotel in great location. Close to metro stops and dining (Hard Rock Barcelona right next door). Rooms comfortable but small. Staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Would definitely stay there again.

i was very disappointed with the breakfast. 1st there was not ot a complimentary one and second they charged us $20 a piece for what we got and did not tell us until we had eaten.!!! very disappointing!!!!!

Space age is the first thing that comes to mind. The decor is stark - gray, black, and a huge red wall. The staff was efficient, and the location was ideal.

The hotel rooms are too compact, with the sink in the middle of the room. The shower and toilet were too compact. There was no lamp in the room, and the lights in the ceiling were too many and too bright. Difficult to read in the room unless you were in the bed.

Location is exceptional, the best ever if you are going to Barcelona. It exceeded my expectations.

Great hotel, exceptional staff. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with anything, especially Rebecca (front desk). Restaurant had great food and a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy it.

The location of this hotel is excellent. There is a bus directly to and from the airport to Plaza Catalunya, which is a major savings over a cab. Also, the Bus Turistic stops in Plaza Catalunya as well and it is convenient for walks to Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gracias. The room was a little small and the bathroom, while stylish, was not that practical […] nor comfortable to use. The staff, however, were always pleasant and helpful. Our room was small and oddly designed, although it was interesting and reasonably comfortable. I was very pleased with the central location as we were able to walk to most attractions. There is a small car rental office right next to the hotel which came in quite handy on a rainy day, and lots of tourist traps in the immediate area. But we found terrific […] restaurants very close by and nice cafe's and bars, perfect for watching the sidewalk traffic and street entertainers. I would certainly stay at the Olivia Plaza again in the future. Mehr

I was thrilled with everything about this hotel. Aside from its beauty, the location and the service were great. Would highly recommend it.

This hotel was located very centrally to the sites to see in Barcelona. The room was incrediable with an awesome view of the town square.

Everything was perfect, room was lovely, modern and spacious with a perfect view over the Plaza!

The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a perfect location. Would recommend it for a holiday.
