Amaroo at Trinity - Trinity Beach

Wir hatten ein Appartement im 4 Stock von dem man einen herlichen Merrblick hat. Alle Leute die mit dem Amaroo zu tun haben sind sehr sehr nett und auch sehr Hilfsbereit. Herlich auch der Pool und der Whirlpool. Ist keinen einzigen Kritikpunkt meiner Meinung am Amaroo. Wir würden immer wieder gerne dorthin zurück gehen.

Wir haben zum Ende unseres Urlaubs 5 Nächte hier verbracht und es stimmt, das beste kommt zum Schluss. Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer (Nr. 206) war phenomenal. Das Zimmer hatte einen sehr großen Balkon auf dem man gemütlich seine Mahlzeiten und den Blick auf das Meer genießen konnte. Das Hotel wirkt sehr neu. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sehr […] stilvoll eingerichtet. Es ist eine Küchenzeile vorhanden mit allem was man benötigt (kein Backofen). Die Klimaanlage über dem Bett hat haben wir in der Nacht ausgemacht, da für die nächtliche Kühlung auch die vorhandenen Deckenventilatoren gereicht haben. Das Hotel verfügt über einen kleinen, schön angelegten Pool und einen Grill-Bereich. Die Verwalter Cathy und Mike sind sehr freundlich, haben immer ein offenes Ohr und sind bei der Auswahl von Ausflügen gerne behilflich. Eine Treppe führt direkt vom Hotel zum Strand. Der Ort selbst ist sehr beschaulich und man kann hier gut entspannen, alles was man zum Leben braucht ist in Reichweite. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Loved the friendly staff and the views of the ocean. Also the private staircase access to the beach was really convenient. The building itself is a bit oldish but the rooms are all modern and undergone a renovation recently.

Our stay at Amaroo was very relaxing with only a few minutes walk to a patrolled beach and hotel I wojuld recomend this hotel to any one wanting a relaxing holiday

The construction of the rooms provides some inconvenience with the airconditioning. The flow of air is directed on to a part wall which results in discomfort to one in the bed .

Excellent on all levels,very friendly and helpful staff every aspect of this property was a wonderful,it is a beautiful property situated in a lovely quite place,

Amaroo is a great place to stay,this was my second time there. the facilities are great,the staff are very helpful and the location is excellent.Close to cairns close to all the attractions.Good for someone looking for a quiet place to stay.Will definately go back!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Trinity beach is a beautiful small town and everyone is friendly. My only warning is that if you need to spend a lot of time in Cairns CBD then it is about a 20 minute drive each way.

Great place to just chill even though im a local (cairns) close Or have a romantic few day. Just beautiful ocean views.

Comfortable, easy, enjoyable stay.

Its location outside the city limits of Cairns is perfect for relaxation. I felt safe walking the hotel neighborhood even at night, and the hotel offered kitchen amenities that travelers on a budget will really appreciate. Fantastic view, so lovely and clean, everything you need. Great facilities like pool, spa and a wonderful jacuzzi you can use. Tennis courts, bbq facilities etc and all very very clean and maintained. Quite refreshing to stay in such a lovely place. Fantastic hotel with a view that you could kill for! The value was great to. The only drawback was the internet. Superslow and extremly expensive (20 AUD for 4 hours).

Absolutely the place to relax and enjoy the views. Close to top class restaurants and shopping centres. Would come again as a local just for the atmosphere.

The Amaroo is a wonderful complex, located near a wonderful in Trinity Beach. Our room was in perfect condition, very clean and fully equipped. The staff was very nice. We planned to arrive after reception hours, but they arranged everything that we still could access our room. They also had some information on the city, where to go and what to do. I […] think the description on this website does not clearly state that the Amaroo is NOT a hotel, but an apartment complex with self contained apartments. What an excellent place to stay. Hotel had all the facilities you needed, good for booking tours etc and right on the beach. There are plenty of eating place close by as well as a supermerket that delivered to your door. Trinity beach is described as one of the best beaches and this is true, plus you re not that far out of Cairns itself, and very […] close to some of the major attractions. Great location base for visiting all the attractions in and around Cairns. Rooms- great family suite.

Great room/unit: everything we needed and it looked smart too. Amaroo is situated on a slight rise at the end of Trinity Beach. This gave elevated, unrestricted views of bush and sea, caught every breeze, but was a short stroll to the beach through the garden. We loved watching the birds and fabulous butterflies from our balcony. Pleasant beaches and […] bush walks, well used by locals and tourists alike. Lovely seeing families playing on the beach and picnicking - but not so many that it felt crowded. Nice cafes and restaurants - particularly recommend the earlybird special at the Italian restaurant next to the corner shop. Simple but superb. Staff very helpful without being intrusive. Had a great day diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Wonderful value for money. Easy distance to attractions and Cairns but without the chain-hotel expense and "sameness". My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was excellent. The description is very accurate for the hotel (only negative comments were probably from people who didn't read the full description). It's a self catering meaning the room gets cleaned every four days, not bad at all. it's an extremely short walk to fantastic restaurants on the Esplanade. […] Mike, the manager, was extremely helpful in planning our activites such as snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and checking out the Daintree Rainforest. Stunning View, Stunning beach, Stunning spot & a Lovely Motel.

Beautiful room. Easy walk to the beach, and a very nice beach. The long sandbar in the ocean made swimming great.

This place should really not be on Hotels.com because it is not a hotel. It is kind of like a condo rental. They only clean the room or replace the linen every 7 days. There was only tile and no carpet, so within about a day the floor was so dirty you couldn't walk barefoot. They also have extra hidden charges for EVERYTHING. They have room safes but […] charge you a daily rate to use them. If you need a towel for the pool, there is a charge, and on it goes. The rooms are old and not well maintained. Our toilet did not flush well at all (will leave to your imagination) and we called the first day. Nothing was done and we were told there were no other rooms although most of the rooms on our floor were empty. We had absolutely no view whatsoever even though that is one of their big selling points. We were put on the ground floor behind bushes. The A/C unit is right above the bed and is so loud it is hard to sleep and blows a tunnel of air right at your head. We really, really regretted the decision to stay here. The price was Ok but not worth it at all. If you stay here to save money, no problem, but don't expect it to be great. Mehr

The hotel is ideally located between Cairns and Port Douglas. A good location if you are planning to have an activity filled vacation. We fould it to be very convenient to travel to Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Kurunda and Cairns. The location and the view was awesome. Nitin
