Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Jan. 2013Als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit direkt im Zentrum von Malaga sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Sehenwürdigkeiten direkt zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr behilflich, auch wenn es darum geht einen Mietwagen oder ein Taxi zu beschaffen. Nicht vorhanden sind ein richtiges Restaurant oder eine frequentierte Bar im Hotel, falls man Wert darauf legt. Dafür gibt es mehr als reichlich Restaurants und Cafés in direkter Umgebung. Es ist schwierig einen Mietwagen in der Nähe zu parken. Eine Nacht im parken in einer öffentlichen Tiefgarage kostet ca. 25 EUR. Wem diese Einschränkungen nichts ausmachen, hat mit dem Room Mate Larios ein sehr gutes und ruhiges (bei geschlossenen Fenstern) Hotel.

"Enttäuschendes Hotel"
Als erstes bemerkt man den Schimmel im Bad. Zur Erholung steht ein baufälliges Schlafsofa im Zimmer sowie ein unbequemes Bett. Zur Stärkung erhält man dann kaltes, schlechtes Essen, Gemüse aus der Konserve... Dies isst man dann von unsauberen Tellern. Halbpension nicht empfehlenswert. I would have given this a 5 but for the temperature in the room. Unfortunately, we went during a chilly spell and there was no heating in the room. I asked at reception for the room to be heated and was told it doesn't come on until November. They sent me an extra blanket up to the room but we were generally cold every time we were in the room. This […] is the only fault I found in the hotel. The food was good, the staff were kind and very helpful and the hotel was extremely clean. The location was excellent for us as we arrived by train and it was only about 100m from the station. It also overlooked the sea. i would stay there again but only in the summer. Great hotel in a great location. So easy to reach from Malaga airport, taking the train to Fuengirola and then a 15 min walk or 5 minute taxi ride. If a hotel is 4 star it should provide facilities as a standard 4 star hotel provides. Such asch as when you check in you have a porter available to take your luggage to the room and have tea and coffe facilities in your room. Plus an ironing facilites if you want to iron your own clothes also iteam such as shower get etc and other iteam should already […] be in the bathroom. "Perfect holiday break"
Perfect stay for a relaxing holiday. The location is very convenient and well connected to airport etc. 2 mins walk to the beach and within minutes walk to many many eating joints. Sea view room is a bonus! Spending time in the balcony especially in the night was amazing! The staff of the hotel were really friendly and very helpful. The only small disappointment […] was the massage session we opted for not up to scratch. But it didn't matter much as everything else about the hotel and stay was just amazing!!!! "Disappointing"
Definately would not rate this hotel as a 4*. Very small pool area with only 13 sunloungers for a hotel of that size. No poolside bar. Nothing at all for children to do. Had to wait over an hour in foyer for hotel room to be ready. Air con broken and when complained said it was like that all over the hotel - wrong!! "DONT DO IT!!!!"
Do NOT go to this hotel. Food was outrageously bad! Lack of variety combined with frozen/processed food made for horrendous dinning!!! Our room was dirty with dusty furniture. We were able to collect the dust with our fingers!! Appalling honestly! Even our curtains were yellowing and had holes! When we asked about the paid parking that the hotel offered, […] we were directed to a local PUBLIC parking situated next to the hotel!! The pool was super small, not nearly enough hammocks and closed at 7pm! Sun doesn't begin to settle until 9pm! We came to the conclusion that either the hotel is on the verge of bankruptcy or they just don't care!! I guess the problem with the parking should have been a misunderstanding because there is a direct access from the parking to our hotel, just in floor -1 and you can access by elevator directly to the hotel lobby, not next to Hotel. Anyway, we truly appreciate all reviews from our guests, your comments hold greater value for us and will help our hotel in providing our guests with service excellence.

Had a very pleasent stay with friendly helpfull staff and are actually concidering going back for ashort break later this year we have picked up a card with the direct contact details.Lovely hotel close to all amenities and only 5 minutes from train station .Only down side was very little sun beds available .Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

The hotel was a bargain for the price, just opposite the beach and next to lots of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and the pool were both small and there weren't enough sun loungers but it was definitely worth the money.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"OK if you're interested in mediocre standards."
Overall, my boyfriend and I had an amazing time during our vacation. The hotel was mediocre, but works if you're with friends, are not interested in a comfortable bed and do not plan to spend much time in your room. Make sure you bring EVERYTHING to make your stay easy.Even your own iron. They charge for EVERYTHING. The complimentary safes were defective. […] The staff is nice but they do not make much of an effort. Although, two members of staff were exceptionally helpful when we ran into an issue. We were fortunate. "Great location. Very poor quality food."
The staff were very welcoming and the location of the hotel excellent BUT the food was dreadful and the beds very uncomfortable. Having read mixed reviews before staying in the hotel I was sure that the poorly rated ones were an exaggeration but the buffet food was cold and unappetising both at breakfast and dinner. Fresh fruit was the safest option. […] We gave the restaurant two chances for dinner and ate out in nearby restaurants for our other four evenings. Reception gave sympathetic looks, accepted our complaints and stated that there was nothing they could do. The swimming pool was always empty due to the severely cold water. The sun is lost from this area in the afternoon although there is a fabulous beach across the road for p.m. If you choose to stay here opt for room only basis. I wish we had. "Not wheel-in-shower rooms."
The hotel is advertised as wheelchair friendly and supposed to have wheel-in-shower rooms but before you can enter the shower area there is a high enough lip to prevent a wheelchair for entering the area without assistance. Also the hotel staff were reluctant to assist us with bags even though they could see that both my husband and I are disabled. […] On check out there was no one available to get our two bags and we were basically told to get them ourselves, all this on their quiet period! They also have parking in the garage but in spite of our blue badge they wanted to charge us 12 euros per night, there were no concessions for hotel guests! Will not be using this hotel ever again! Also all disabled rooms are located at the side or back of hotel, there were no wheel-in-shower rooms facing the sea! MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Great Hotel, great bar near it called Alleys Cats"
Rooms all have a balcony. Great location, beach across the road. Lovely part of Fungeriola. We would definitely stay again. Nice bar about 100 mtrs away. When you come out of hotel take a right and walk about 80 mtrs and look right for a little lane. You will see a bar called Alley Cats. Very welcoming and great fun.
