Das Rica Victoria Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Oslo. Alle Innenstadtziele sind gut zu erreichen. Das Parken am Hotel ist nur in der Tiefgarage (für große PKW ungeeignet da sehr enge Kurven) möglich und sehr teuer. Zimmer mgl. nicht zum Innenhof wählen, da sich dann Fenster nicht öffnen läßt und die Klimaanlage etwas schwach ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet […] ist eine Wucht. Es gibt einfach alles, warm u. kalt, süß u. herzhaft usw. Für eine Übernachtung o.k. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ist man sicher in den Randbezirken schöner und ruhiger dran. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral = Vorteil, dadurch aber auch speziell am Wochenende durch Gäste und den Rauchern die am Eingang stehen, auch vom Lokal von nebenan, sehr laut und die Zimmer sind hellhörig (Altbau) Es ist alles sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstücksbüfett nicht mehr zu toppen! Das Hotel war in jeder Beziehung gut. Es war sauber, freundliche Bedienung sowie reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffett und das alles zu einem angemessenen Preis. Alle Hotspots von OSLO sind von hier zu Fuss erreichbar.

hallo das einzig gute an diesem Hotel ist die Lage. Der Bedienung fehlt die Herzlichkeit, die man allgemein in oslo auch nicht vorfindet. das fruehstuecksbuffet ist relativ reichhaltig, die Qualitaet aber noch nicht mal mittelmaessig. Sehr empfehlenswert. Alle wichtigen Sehnswürdigkeiten (Rathaus, Königspalast, Parlament, Nationaltheater, Festung etc) sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Sensationelles Frühstücksbufffet. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Zimmer sind sehr klein und Ausblick ist nicht schön -entweder in eine enge Gasse oder in einen überdachten Innenhof. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Lage des Hotel ist Spitze.

Stayed in a superior room on the 8th floor. Very nice interior desing, comfortable bed, quiet room, only noticable sound was from the bells of the city hall adn the usual party people singing in the street. Personnel was service oriented and friendly. Breakfast buffe' really good. The location is perfect, just a block away from the main street of Oslo, […] and just a few minutes walk down to the harbour in front of the City Hall. The hotel is very ok at a central location. B U T what has happened to Oslo? Nowhere else in Europe I have experienced such a sleazy atmosphere (and I have been to most countries in both western and eastern Europe). During a short walk in the city centre I met multiple beggars and people trying to sell me drugs. This is not what you expect from the […] norwegian capital. Do something about it please! Mehr

Nice hotel and location. I did not like breakfast room: it was crowded in the artrium, we could not find available tables and the service was slow. As a result - stressfull instead of relaxing breakfast.

This hotel is an excellent alternative for those who don't want to spend upwards to $300 a night at the larger international chains. The buffet breakfast (included) makes it an even better value. Granted, you may not get the over-the-top feelings but considering the expense of dining and travel it's a great offset. Centrally located near the government […] buildings it's about a 8 minute taxi ride from the train station (which connects via high speed train to the airport). The beds were comfortable as well as the entire room set up. Close to the harbor for shopping and dining too. Great for the business traveler. Mehr

There are a number of Rica Hotels in the area so make sure you get the right one! Good location and everything was fine. Would recommend for business traveller.

I was not sure what to expect when i booked this hotel for a business trip, when i arrived at the hotel i was very satisified. I think this is a good place to stay for business or leisure, its in a great loaction, just off the mail street but also very quite. I loved my room it was so cozy and inviting. Rica Victoria is in a great location; a short walk from the train station. Good breakfast buffet. Fair value for money in a very expensive city.

The area outside the lift on the 6th floor had spillages, stains & used tea bags, not a very good impression when you step out of the lift for the first time, and to find it still there the next day.

The receptionist first put us (my wife and I) in a room with two twin beds. The room was also located next to the bar. They changed our room the next day when we requested it. In summary, adequate service, very good breakfast, and excellent location (near the city center and metro).

The Rica hotel in Oslo was the best one we had in a two weeks vacation in Norway. Thalma and David

Stayed for 3 nights At first had a twin room comfatable beds but noisy, was changed to a double room on top floor with a soft and sunken in the middle double bed which was not changed. Besides that exelent breakfast staff and location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rica Victoria. The concierge is very friendly and helpful. Some helpful things that I found very positive at this hotel: 1. Free internet and wifi - Also free printing of anything you need. 2. Location, Location, Location. You are right in the center of downtown and literally a 2 -3 min wakl from the port area where […] you can take various sightseeing trips. 3. The breakfast - it blew me away. I did not have high expectations but it literally is one of the best hotel breakfasts you can have. The quality and selection is superb. Central hotel - close to everything - to museums, to sea, to bus, to underground, to shops - everything. Hotel was warm and in great condition and provided an excellent buffet breakfast. A very nice hotel with good service, good value for money (£90 pounds for a night for a single room after taking into account the prices at Olso). Good quality of breakfast with international and Scandinavian elements and good variety. In walking distance from everything (city centre, port, Oslo opera house etc.). The hotel is really beautiful inside, esp. the breakfast area. The included breakfast is one of the most incredible I have ever seen at a hotel. Huge buffet each day that is like some hotel's Sunday brunches for $40. We got a very good deal here, compared to other Oslo hotels, which tend to be quite expensive. We really liked where we were--close to harbour, back a block from the main streets. The staff at the hotel was very helpful--explaining sights, trains, buses etc. The breakfast was very good, and room was fine, with enough room, but not large. It was off-putting that the air conditioner/heat could not be controlled individually by each room (although […] there is a control, we were told did nothing other than change the fan speed--that did not even appear to be true)--at end of day, temperture was OK, but not sure how that would have worked in colder or warmer weather. The phone system was also not working (explained as being upgraded--I am not sure if true either). I stayed two nights on a business trip. It is a significant walk (with rollerboard luggage) from the central train station but do-able (I took a taxi on return). The front desk was very helpful and welcoming, the room was fresh, clean, roomy (but not spacious). The inroom coffee & tea and wireless internet kept me connected with work. We stayed at the Rica Victoria for two nights and found it to be a wonderful value. It was clean, comfortable and close to Karl Johans Gate and the waterfront. The price was very reasonable considering how expensive Oslo can be. I would definitely use the Rica again if I return to Oslo.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel arrving mid-evening in the pouring rain on a business trip. THe room I was given on the top floor was virtually vibrating with noise from something on the roof - I immediately asked for another room but was told they were full as were their other hotels. I was therefore reduced to walking the streets of Olso […] at 9pm in the rain to find an alternative. Mehr

The hotel was great! The room was large by Scandinavian standards. Very clean, and close to the Royal Palace. Was a great jumping off point for many museums as it was a short walk to the ferries by City Hall. Staff was very helpful, and let us secure our luggage for the day after we checked out. This was VERY helpful, because we were touring Oslo on […] foot, and we were not leaving until 7:30pm that night. The only improvement I would suggest was the breakfast, it was only average at best. Staff were friendly. Room was nice and tidy, but far too warm. Location is very central but on a side street. Overall, would use it again.

The location is just great. It's close to train station, tram to Vingeland Park, and ferries to the FRAM museum. The included breakfast buffet was very nice that you barely need any lunch. With the cost of living at Oslo, this is truly a good deal. The only downside is the 6AM trash collection. I would bring ear-plugs if I were you.

Great location for getting around the city. We took the flybuss into city and had a one block walk. Couldn't be easier. European Hotel rooms are small but overall our rooms were comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was varied and to everyone's liking. The Rica hotel is within steps of Karl Johans Gate and within easy walking distance to Ager Brygge and the Palace. The Bus from the airport drops you off a few minutes walk from the hotel. We only stayed one night, but the service was great and the room was comfortable. As Oslo is very expensive I thought this hotel was good value for money for the […] one night. Mehr

The hotel was just a few blocks from major bus and tram lines to take you anywhere you wanted to go. It was just a few blocks walking from the harbor, ideal.

I dont think many of the hotels have air in Oslo but we happened upon this lovely city in the middle of a heat wave. The hotel did give us a fan to use which was helpful and we stayed out till very late so that we would not have to smolder in the room. The room we were given was inside so their were no windows. The outside located rooms probably had […] windows that opened which would have been okay. The location however was great. Walking distance to the palace and the harbor. Staff was very friendly. We did not get to enjoy the breakfast as we flew out quite early in the morning. I would recommend this for price and location just not during the hot time of the year. I am sure all the internet rated rooms are located inside without the windows. Mehr

The location is great, the breakfast is excellent, there is free wi-fi in the lobby, and the location can't be beat. Altogether, good value for the money in Oslo. Recommended.

My stay in the Rica Hotel was Excellent. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious. The staff were friendly. The Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of foods. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one and I will stay here again next time I am in Oslo.

El hotel es cómodo pero el baño no de un 4*. El desayuno los domingos se sirve a las 8:00 y los días festivos. En el viaje tuve dos días de estos, con lo que eso fue una gran incomodidad, aunque el último día me permitieron bajar unos minutos antes. El desayuno está bien y la localización buena.

Store og fine rom med bra ventilasjon. Helt grei frokost. Beliggenheten er veldig sentral.
