The bed was very comfortable. The staff was great and the included breakfast was quite good. The tv in our room was small and old, but we weren't there to watch tv so this is not a negative. We would stay here again.

Some the heating units don't heat so well, had to have heat on full the entire time and probably never got over 70. Generally a good hotel though.

This was by far the best vacation location. Right at the base of Buttermilk. Everything is just steps away and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not gourmet, but healthy and satisfying before hitting the slopes for the day. We ended the day with a nice soak in the hot tub while we watched the remaining skiers come off the mountain. […] The restaurant food is decent, but if not what you want, the staff will take you anywhere you want to go. The hotel provides a free shuttlebus 7am - 10pm to and from the town of Aspen and to the airport and the driver gave us information that the public buses run until 3am and are free of charge also. The room was recently renovated and was very impressive. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Nice, clean hotel. My only complaint was that the TV reception was not good. The door knob was broken when we first arrived, but maintenance was able to repair it almost immediately. Our room had a door to the outside, which I like. We were able to park right in front of our room, which makes it easy to carry in luggage, etc. This hotel is located just […] a few miles from Aspen and located along the hwy, but back enough from the road, so that noise was not a problem. Front desk staff, Nick and PJ were fabulous, very helpful to find a couple locations in Aspen.

Beds were not made properly. Phone and refrigerator were not working. Not a great way to impress the guests on arrival I would say. However they fixed both the phone and fridge once I informed them.

It is confusing that so many Aspen Hotels have similar names. They frequently get confused. We thought we were right in town and found out we weren't but the shuttle service was very quick and convenient! I saw two elk up on the mountain in the morning!

For Aspen, this hotel's price is very affordable. The bathroom could use updating, but was adequate with a large counter space. Comfortable bed. We had no washcloths in the room, asked for them at the front desk. Even after someone at the front desk visited our room to bring them, we still didn't have any when we returned, and now our room key had to […] be reprogrammed. A phone call to the front desk asking again for washcloths got us an abrupt response that housekeeping was closed, and they didn't know where they were. Spent 2 nights in the Fall, which was beautiful and serene and at a very affordable price. This is clearly a ski in/ski out place to stay for the winter at Buttermilk Mtn and only 2 miles from downtown Aspen. Hotel had a substantial "continental" breakfast. Nice lobby and outdoor patio. Our room was large, but we weren't sure if the sheets had been […] changed. The batrhoom was tiny and supplied only two tiny hand soaps and no bath soap. We booked at the Inn at Aspen Hotel at the last minute and it was well worth it. A great deal for the Aspen area. Friendly staff and shuttle drivers. Very central location to all the things we wanted to see without an extravagant price. The room was a little dated here and there but for the price we can't complain.

For the price in Aspin, this is a great hotel. The hot tub and pool are great. Nice breakfast came with the room. I'd stay again!

Stayed only for one night. The hotel staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful with helping us find our way about the town and amenities therein.

We where supprised when we checked in for our two nigth stay at the hotel, We where told we got an upgrade to a suite, We had a great stay in a very luxciourous suite with bubble bath etc. The people where very friendly and they have a good free shuttle service to Aspen

The hotel rate seemed high for the quality, but maybe thats just the case for Aspen. The room was dated and showed moderate wear and tear. However, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a bit lack luster and did not include your typical hot dishes such as eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

nestled at the bottom of buttermilk mountain is aperfect place to be. price is great, the room was spacious. the front desk was extremely helpful. we parked our car and use the hotel shuttle only really not a shuttle. The hotel is a good value for the price compared to how expensive hotels are in Aspen. . It's a three star. Breakfast is included which is nice. There is a ski lift at the back of the hotel which is great if you go there in the winter. We went in August. It's about two miles from the center of Aspen. You can drive yourself or use the hotel shuttle which […] runs until 10pm. The Maroon Bells are very close and we spent a beautiful day hiking up there and even saws a coupleof bears. Mehr

I needed to be in Aspen every morning at 7 am for a conference so I didn't really want to stay 2 miles from Aspen. But, because the rates were half of the cheapest hotel in Aspen, and because of the free shuttle, I chose to stay here. It was a great decision. It was peaceful, quiet, with nice pool, and jacuzzi that were not overcrowded. The bed was […] so comfortable that I still want to find out the details so I can duplicate it at home. My room had a little refrigerator, a microwave and the bare bones of dishes and utensils, and coffeemaker and coffee. Important to me was the balcony with a door that opens, as I love fresh air. The A/C worked well, also. I only used the in-house restaurant once, and the food was good and reasonable, if not great. They don't have room service, but you can go down and pick up your food and take it to your room, which I did. All this wouldn't matter without the shuttle. The shuttle was available from very early, perhaps 6 am or so, until 10 pm, and occasionally later than that. It is always available within 10 minutes, as the furthest away it can be is the airport or Aspen, each of which is just a mile or two away. The drivers are all very pleasant, helpful and safe drivers. I was very pleased and plan to stay here as my first choice in the future. Mehr

This was a very pleasant stay! Close to downtown without being in it....it takes less than 10 minutes to get to downtown by car. It is less than 5 minutes from the airport. You don't need a GPS to get around this town. Hotel was nice. i can occasionally hear the nieghbors talk, but I didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway.

Perfect location in the winter if skiing Buttermilk mtn. Right on the lift. If, however, you are visiting Aspen or Snowmass, you can do better. Needs renovation badly. Fixtures, carpet, tv etc very old. We got a good deal, but being a little over 2 miles out of Aspen, a shuttle was necessary (free from the hotel-ends at 10 pm). I'd spend more to be […] in town. The Inn is a good bargain. Rooms are spacious and setting is beautiful. Perfect for our occassion. I have to say that our first impression was poor in that the employee that checked us in at the front desk was short with us nearly to the point of rudeness. She seemed very good at her job, but her tone was quite brusk and offensive. Nonetheless, we had […] no more dealings with her and the stay overall was quite pleasant. Mehr

We had a great two-night stay at the Inn at Aspen. We were in town for a wedding that was taking place over Independence Day weekend at the Hotel Jerome ($$$) in town. The room was very large and comfortable, with a king size bed, a table and chairs, a TV amoire, a pull out sofa a coffee table and a chair and ottoman and plenty of room to spare; it […] could have easily accommodated two couples or a small family (although the bathroom was not huge). There was a light bulb out, that I forgot to tell the front desk about, but other than that, the hotel worked out wonderfully for us and was a great value. We did not use the TV, but I noted that it was very small, but the room also had a small refrigerator, which was a nice amenity. The hotel operates a free shuttle to anywhere in town which we used multiple times over the weekend, just call for a ride and someone was there within ten minutes. It was quick and the drivers were friendly. The included continental breakfast was also great, including waffles, cereal, fruit, an assortment of breads, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and beverages. We sat by the pool and enjoyed the hot tub and the views. The hotel is a little bit older and is not in walking distance of town, but for the price, it was totally worth taking the shuttle and the slightly older decor. We would stay there again and recommend it to friends over some of the pricier places in the area, I also bet it is great during ski season as the lift is right out the back door on the property. The Hotel is shabby for advertising is Aspen. Realizing it is off -season, but not aware they suspend the restraunt for several months was not advertized. Not a good value for the money.

I booked a room on my way to Aspen and ended up with a killer deal. I was very impressed with everything there. The shuttle drove us into town, and the bus dropped us off right across the street from the hotel after the bars closed, so we didn't have to drive into town. I was amazed that I could see the lifts from our window even though I didn't come […] for the skiing. It was an impromptu trip and was very happy that I was able to book a room in Aspen for $100. The room came with breakfast (which I missed due to oversleeping. It was a long nite.) but my bf made it there and was impressed with it. There was also a bar and restaurant that we did not get to explore but it looked nice. If I had made it to breakfast I would be able to comment on the restaurant area. Was stuck overnight waiting for flight. Hotel is very close to airport (2 mins by shuttle), not sure how close it is to shopping and downtown restaurants - never got the opportunity to check into it. When I checked-in, I thought "Uh-oh". The hotel has older decor and seemed empty. We went to our room and found it smelling of smoke and I requested a non-smoking room. The front desk was very quick to change our room for us. From there, it got better. We were tired and decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, and it was all very fresh and good! Breakfast […] was excellent, with a wonderful spred of choices - including fresh fruit and chocolate croissants! The bed was very comfortable. Although we stayed there during the summer, I want to come back and go skiing in the winter! The first floor rooms have outer doors you can ski right to from the slopes behind the hotel. It's beautiful! The rooms have a small kitchenette - including dishes and silverware, cloth napkins, sink, microwave and fridge. They also have a free shuttle to town! There were a few minor other things that deserve mentioning - there was a little evidence of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom is SMALL! And they only provided shampoo and soap, no lotion or conditioner. The tv was small, but they do have dvd players in the rooms. Overall, very pleasantly surprised after making a not so favorable first impression. Mehr

We were greeted with smiles and helpful tips. The hotel had a shuttle which we used to get to a concert at the Belly-Up. The hotel was decorated in a rustic format, but had all the comforts of home with a kitchenette. We wish we would've had another night to stay!

Although this hotel is a short drive outside of the city, it was perfect for the price. The room was huge, had a kitchen, and was quiet. The hotel staff were very helpful. The drive into Aspen proper takes less than 5 minutes. It was a great deal for the price. FIne hotel for the price; actually great value.

Booked before we read some negative reviews which scared us. Were pleasantly surprised. Is not a luxury Aspen experience, but clean and comfortable. Great if you don't want to spend the money to stay downtown Aspen but want to be a couple of minutes away. We visited in the summer but it must be a great ski hotel as the rooms have sliding glass doors […] that open up to the lift. Could ski to your own room. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away. This was an unexpected gem of a hotel between the Aspen airport and downtown. The price was definitely right compared to other hotels around Aspen and the service was first class. The rooms all had fridges and nice lounging chairs. The complimentary breakfast had quite a few options and nice, flaky pastries. We would definitely stay there again.

Excelente custo-benefício. O Hotel não é muito caro, para os padrões de Aspen. O atendemineto é excelente - ponto muito forte. Tem cafá da manhã incluso, que é muito bom para os padrões do EUA. Tem uma van que busca e pega a qualquer hora no downtown de Aspen. Utilizei e não tive problemas. Hotel fica a 2 milhas do centro de Aspen.
