Dieses Hotel war die größte Überraschung auf unserer Rundreise. Exzellente Lage, nur wenige Schritte von dem Anlegeplatz der Fähre Woods Hole - Vineyard Haven entfernt. Die Zimmer waren ausgezeichnet ausgestattet, liebevoll im Detail eingerichtet und gepflegt. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Fitnessbereich und Schwimmbad konnten ohne Aufpreis benutzt werden. Das abwechslungsreiche und ausgezeichnete Frühstück im angeschlossenen Zephrus Restaurant war inklusive. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

Das Motel liegt im schönen Sandwich, mit malerischem Dorfzentrum und schönem Strand. Wer über kein Auto verfügt wird es schwer haben, da es keine öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung gibt und an der 6A auch keine Gehsteige. Ansonsten liegt die Lodge sehr praktisch direkt gegenüber von Supermarkt, Post und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hafens und des Cape Cod Kanals. Es verfügt über einen Innen- und Außenpool, ausreichend Parkplätze und schöner Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und groß, aber durch die Klimaanlage und alten Teppich auch etwas muffig. Generell war alles älteren Baujahres und entsprechend abgenutzt, aber sauber.
Lage
The Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach befindet sich am Strand in South Yarmouth (Hyannis, Yarmouth) und liegt in der Nähe von: Peggy's Cove Minigolf, Seagull Beach und West Dennis Beach. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in der Nähe von: Bass River Lighthouse und Bass River Golf Course.
Ausstattung
Die Ferienwohnung verfügt über einen Strand, der zum Verweilen und Entspannen einlädt. The Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Außenpool, Innenpool und Whirlpool. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Fitnessmöglichkeiten, Dampfbad und Concierge-Service. Gästen stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
Zimmer
Die Zimmer verfügen über Balkone oder Patios, die einen schönen Blick auf den Strand oder auf den See bieten. Die klimatisierten Zimmer im The Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach bieten folgende Ausstattung: CD-Player und Kaffee-/Teekocher. Im Zimmer steht Ihnen ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN) zur Verfügung. Neben Fernsehern mit Premium-Kabel-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: DVD-Player und Videorekorder. Zur Badausstattung gehören: Duschen, Haartrockner und kostenlose Toilettenartikel.

Für einen Strandurlaub optimal, da direkt am Strand und gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. Man darf keine großen Serviceleistungen erwarten, da Frühstück "Selfservice" ist. The hotel was recently renovated, and the rooms are lovely (walls are super thin). The pool is TINY-much smaller than the photos on line make it look. Put more than 4 kids in there and it is way over-crowded. It is beachfront, which is lovely. They don't clean rooms daily and never replace your towels ! Everything else was good.
"Good location and value"
Stayed 2 nights with the kids. It is clean and the location is excellent. The pool was nicely heated and usuable in the off season. Nice local feel vs. a chain. It is actually a timeshare they rent out. Beach location is ideal with good outdoor patio/pool design. The worst thing I can say about the place is the check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am. […] Room has a lot of amenities and an activities center for the kids. I think there is a lot to offer families in the summer. I found the rates to be very reasonable for what we received. "The Hotel Smuggler's Beach at South Yarmouth"
We spent 3 nights at this lovely placed hotel at Cape Cod in April 2012 and enjoyed all the activities around. Even that it was early in the season many restaurants were opened and easily accessible. All in all a great place to spend a long weekend, reasonable pricing, good discounts.

"Family friendly"
We were pleasantly suprised with this hotel. We got a cheap last minute spring break price. Upon arriving we found a very clean room. Pool was heated, spa was relaxing, Exercise room was spacious and all clean. Activities room was a great idea. Stayed a week with just my teenage daughter and I - we felt very safe as well. That is not the case with some […] places. Only disappointing thing was we could not use the fireplace. But I had read reviews and others had pointed that our as well so I wasnt unaware before booking. Hope someday they will have them working again! Overall we will stay again and enjoy the ocean! Mehr
"Great location bad timing"
This suite time share hotel was wonderful. The location is right on the beach. It had everything you could possibly want or need. The fireplaces are a waste as the town won't let the hotel use them. Someone didn't do their homework before they remodeled. We stayed at the end of March and most shops ( little quaint ones) were closed. The only down side […] of the suite was the noise. There is no sound proofing what so ever. Ask for an upstairs unit. It sounded like a herd of elephants over us.. Mehr
"Affordable luxury"
Outstanding suite stay! All the amenities of fancy hotel/resort. Clean, new, quiet, friendly, family oriented as well as mature adult place to stay!! We can only hope to find availability here in the future.
"Wonderful ocean view"
We stayed a weekend in the deluxe room which was quaint with a separate living area from the bedroom. The fireplace was not working which was the only negative part of the stay. It's so amazingly close to a pristine beach. We went off season, but I would definitely go back during the summer months.
Loved our hotel stay, only thing we would have changed is the location of our room. The walls are paper thin so we could hear our next door neighbors and we are sure they could hear us.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room was great. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff also was very helpful and friendly.I will come back again.

The beach side location and off season pricing make this hotel a great deal, and a perfect way to check out the facility and area for future reference. Though out of our price range for a summer stay, we enjoyed our few days in the area, and on the beach, and the hotel itself, and hope they continue their policies. What a beautiful place!! My fiance and I stayed there for a Valentine's getaway and were very impressed. Newly renovated, the rooms are gorgeous! New flat screen tv's, nice colors, comfy bed and sofa. Everything you could need in the small kitchenette. We had an amazing oceanview with a small balcony. This timeshare unit was great for 2 people but small for 4- even if they are kids. The beach, indoor pool, guest relations, etc were all very good, but the room is just an expanded hotel room. "Clean, Comfortable, Convenient"
Excellent location - right on the beach. Lovely efficiency w/pocket doors separating lounge from bedroom. Could have better mattress and larger bathroom (no tub) but certainly would stay here again.
"Loved the Fireplace; view was outstanding"
Fireplace was perfect in the winter, but the TV could only be viewed from the bedroom, not in the living space. However, who wants to watch TV with the fantastic view.

I just recently stayed two nights at the Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach and have to say I was extremely disappointed in all aspects of this hotel. The minute we walked in the office to register the employee was sitting on the couch watching television ignoring our presence. I asked if anyone was working the desk and she responded oh, yes, I am.
