Barefoot Beach Resort - Indian Shores

I enjoyed my stay at the Barefoot Beach Resort. It was very spacious and accomidating. Even though this room was not directly on the beach it was close enough to walk to the beach. This was one of the best rooms I have visited and I would love to visit again soon. I give it five stars!

The complex was nice, clean, quiet and convenient. About the only 2 things I could complain about were.1) the kitchen dishes weren't as clean as I would like them and 2) the bed wasn't that great.

This hotel/condo is an awesome choice for the Indian Shores area. It was clean, quiet and the staff was very helpful. The one bedroom condo we stayed in was HUGE and very reasonably priced. If you don't mind staying across the street from the beach, this is your ideal place to stay! The resort is within walking distance of many delicious restaurants/cafes.One […] of our favorite restaurants in the area is Salt Rock Grill, (a fantastic restaurant for seafood) which is located literally next door! This was a great getaway for me & my son for a couple of days. The views were lovely, the condo was clean and plenty spacious. The office staff were very friendly & thoughtful. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bed was really uncomfortable. I tossed & turned all night, but the spectacular sunrise made up for it.

We only had a difficult time checking in. The directions are not clearly stated online. The stay was excellent. The units are 1 or 2 bedroom condo's that are rented out for vacation stays. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

Great location right next to an awesome restaurant. When we were there the hotel was making upgrades, painting etc. The staff was well informed and very polite. The room was very clean n great location of the water. The kitchen had all basics needed, cups, plates, pots, etc. Marbled tops, two shower heads, and plenty towels. Overall we loved it

When turning shower on made a horrible noise. It sounded like the plumbing was going to vibrate thru the bathroom walls

This hotel was awesome! It was in a great location, and was very clean and pretty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay close to Clearwater beach and looking for a private home like setting for not high dollar prices.

The location of BareFoot was right in the middle of the action. You have Clearwater to the north and Treasure Island to the south. Its a quiet area with beach access. The resort was more than expected. Very clean, quiet, even though was across the street it was just right. My kids were crying when leaving the place. The layout was just awsome in everyway. I will definitely stay there again and will recommended to my family.

this was a condo and not a hotel room so we had more room, which was nice because being at the beach you want to be able to relax in your room. It was close to great food and easily accessable. overall a nice place to stay.

We had a lovely time at the Barefoot Beach Resort. The condo was fantastic and we were lucky to have a view of the bay. We awoke the first morning to see dolphins swimming outside, great start to the day. The beach is across the road and is quiet and clean with spectacular sunsets. We visited adventure island water park and Busch gardens whilst there […] and we all (kids aged 10 and 7) had a great time. Salt Rock Grill restaurant very close and very good. I was impressed with the review on line before I booked the room, and was also impressed. I would recommend this resort... We enjoyed ourselves, and had a little care trouble, a dead battery, and the maintence/room service guy came to our rescue. Above the call of duty! We are looking forward to another stay at Barefoot Beach...

It was a very nice, pleasant stay! It was perfect for us And our three kids, location was good a walk across the street to the beach, had everything we needed we were very happy n can't wait to come back next year !

We had an amazing time! Resort was so convenient! Many things within walking distance. Road bikes and enjoyed the sun and the beach! We are planning a return visit next year!

Stayed in Block D condo 207. On arrival this block looked just like a motel. Across the road from a very shelly beach. Condo was clean enough. Problems were dirty cutlery in dishwasher, cutlery rusty, shower no control of temperature went from warm to boiling without adjusting controls - dangerous for kids. Sheets on bed only went to within a foot of […] the bottom of bed. So part of your body was on the very thin mattress. Furniture was in keeping with beach theme but very well worn. No beach/pool towels. No washing machine/dryer in condo cost $1.25 wash/$1.75 dryer. when using water in condo a noise could be heard throughout the condo. Also air co was very noisy and in a cupboard. It didn't even look safe. Pool was very deep for kids 4ft low end to 8ft high end. to be fair condos at the front of the fishing docks looked better from the outside. Perhaps this is just cosmetic. Would not stay again there are better places near clearwater. Mehr

The hotel was very nice. The room was delightful and spacious! We wish the check out time was pushed back to 11am. We would like to return sometime with our family :-) All in all, it was a nice stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Barefoot beach resort. Easily accessible to the beach, clean rooms. The beds could have used new mattresses, and could have been bigger. Everything else was great!

This was a great place to stay in a great area! We took the family (dad, mom, two girls 7 & 10). We swam in the pool and the beach. We had the best of both worlds. The office staff were helpful and friendly. Salt Rock Grill is within walking distance. A must to dine at while there. I would highly recommend this place. We will be going back.

Condo was very comfortable but the a/c unit was so loud it was hard to hear the TV in the main living area. Other than that, it was satisfactory and we'd recommend it and also stay there again.

We had a great time. I loved the surroundings of the resort. i could not have asked for a better place to stay. i can not wait to do it again.

Great place! Very comfortable and excellent price for the amenities. Short walk to the beach, but have to drive to restaurants. We will stay here again!

Front desk people were so warm and nice when I arrived, but when our place turned out to be too small, they quickly became lukewarm. They were doing me a huge favor to take my extra money to upgrade to a two bedroom. (Would not put any more that two people and an infant/toddler in a one bedroom..very small). Pool area has dirty furniture and has drainage […] issues and is always wet. Most resorts include small packets of morning coffee in the room charge, but here if you want another packet of coffee you have to go to the front desk and give them a dollar. What a joke! Being local, I am glad to support the local economy, but didn't feel like my business was appreciated at all. Mehr

We stayed in a one bedroom for 3 nights. We needed extra sheets and had an issue with our air conditioning, which the front office staff handled quickly. The hotel itself is across the street from the beach (no beach view) and is on the bay. There is a nice restaurant next door to the condo. The walk to the beach is not bad. The kitchen was fully stocked […] with silverware, plates, glasses. The condo also provided dishwasher soap, towels and TP. I would have preferred a king bed in the master but the queen was fine. The local area itself is laid back and low key. A nice change from the more commercial areas. Mehr

The rooms was very clean with lots of space and updated furnishings. The resort is right across the road from the beach and backs up to the inter-coastal so you have the best of both worlds. There were alot of other guests staying at the resort but once we were in our room we never heard any other guests or noises. All in all it was a wonderful stay […] and I would highly recommend this resort to all of my friends and family. Mehr

Barefoot was everything advertised without any embellishment. The staff was fantastic! Very friendly, courteous and tended to my every need and concern. The property was well cared for and the condo was exactly as advertised. I was able to relax and enjoy myself without hassles. Beautiful pool next to the intercoastal waterway or beach just across the […] street. I will return here again and again. I recommend Barefoot to anyone without reservation! Mehr

This is a very quaint and quiet resort ( more like individual condos). It was very welcoming and extremely clean plus beach is right across the street. ONLY complaint is the RIDICULOUS check out time of 10 am!!!! It was off-season and the request for noon check out was granted.

This is our second time staying here. It is an excellent location and nice accomodations. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing.Its definitely worth staying a few days to enjoy everything.

This is my 5th time at this condo and it just keeps getting better! Great rooms, great location, great weather, and fantastic, friendly, helpful staff! Couldn't be happier, can't wait to go back!

This was a great hotel...nice staff..wondering accomodations. It was nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach or walk out back and fish on the intercoastal

I travel for a living so i spend alot of time in hotels for the price you will never find a place with as much space or in such beutiful surroundngs as this resort I will be spending alot of time here in the future

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The staff was very pleasant and efficient. The property is well maintained and in an excellent neighborhood. The property is not on the beach, but the beach access is VERY close and takes less than 3 minutes to walk into the ocean. On site parking is plentiful and very near the rooms. I walked 10' […] with luggage. I really enjoyed the clean pool area with a view of the intercoastal and passing ships. You can even fish off the piers on the property, but get a license first! (Wal-mart) The room was delightful! Super clean. VERY spacious and well-laid out. The units were designed for vacationers and the layout is perfect. Comfortable sleeping for 6. We loved the private back patio and I loved the office area/sun room for working on the laptop. NO wireless. LAN connection. Overall we had a GREAT stay! I would recommend this property to anyone especially families who will enjoy the pool and beach access. Would also be great for extended stay. I wish that a grocery store was closer, but that's my only complaint. Lovely! Mehr

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very comfortable and clean. The Indian Shores/Clearwater area is beautiful! There are lot's of great restaurants, the beach is beautiful and easy to access from Barefoot Beach Resort. We would definitely saty there again.

We stayed her two night before our week timshare started in another condo. Wish we could have stayed all week here. This place was great, clean, great location across from the beach and on the bay with docks off the backside of the property.
