Das Hotel war toll! Wir waren sehr zurfrieden, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Zimmer super sauber. Zu Beginn hatte ich Bedenken, dass wir Flugzeuge etc. hören würden, aber gar nichts! Und grad paar 100m weiter liegt das Salzburger Design Outlet :) Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Wir werden immer wieder in diesem Hotel buchen.
Lage
Belmondo Hotel liegt in Salzburg in der Nähe von Schloss Mirabell, Museum Carolino Augusteum und Mozarts Geburtshaus. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Franziskanerkirche und Salzburger Dom.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel in Salzburg verfügt über Folgendes: Restaurant und Bar/Lounge. Ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. "Belmondo in Salzburg: günstig und rel. zentral"
günstige Lage und guter Preis, aber Spinnweben, schmuddelige Gardinen und Fenster, die sich schlecht verdunkeln lassen ... Dennoch: super bequemes Bett, freundliches Personal und trotz großer Straße recht ruhig innen.
"Keine 4, aber solide 3 Sterne"
Positiv: zentral 15min zu Fuss ins Zentrum, Parkgebuehr 10 € Tag, wir bekamen das groesste Zimmer in diesem Stock nach hinten raus wars ruhig, sauber, renoviert, fuer das teure Salzburg geht der Preis in Ordnung. Negativ: braeuchte nen neuen Teppichboden, Nachbarschaft nicht 4 Sterne wuerdig aber ok, definitiv 3 Sterne nicht 4, keine Minibar, an der […] Badewanne fehlte ein Dichtungsgummi dh beim Duschen wars ziemlich nass auf dem FussBoden des Bads, Parkplatz nicht abschliessbar unter freiem Himmel, Fazit: 3 Sterne Hotel mit Preis Leistungsverhaeltnis das in Ordnung geht. Einzige Kritik: Beim Frühstück weniger Hektik. Man war noch nicht fertig, da wurde schon das Geschirr weggeräümt.
"Zentrale Lage, aber extrem hoher Lärmpegel"
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, in einer Minute ist man zu Fuß an der Salzach und dann in zehn bis fünfzehn Minuten zu Fuß in der Stadtmitte. Die straßenseitigen Zimmer sind nicht zu empfehlen, weil es trotz geschlossener Fenster sehr laut ist.
"Bequeme Lage, aber bei weitem keine 4 Sterne"
+ Nah an Stadtzentrum + Saubere Zimmer + Kostenlos Internet - Ausstattung entspricht 2 und nicht 4 Sternen - Zimmer ist klein und komisch eingerichtet - Stadtteil ist nicht schön - Keine abschließbare Parkplätze

"günstig, gute busverbindung"
für einen kurzen aufenthalt empfehlenswert, sauber, nettes personal. busstation vor dem haus. die gegend rundherum ist nicht schön, aber man ist gleich an der salzach und nach einem spaziergang auch bald in der stadt...
Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotelaufenthalt.
"Prinzipell tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ..."
... wenn nicht das anscheinend öfters auftretende Problem mit den nicht funktionierenden Zimmerkarten wäre. Mein Schlüssel hat um 23 Uhr nicht mehr gesperrt, bei -15°C hat man dann warten müssen, bis ein Taxi mit dem Generalschlüssel einem Einlass ins Hotel und Zimmer gewährt. Achtung auch, wenn man ein ruhiges Zimmer möchte, dann aufpassen, denn einige […] Zimmer schauen auf die stark befahrene Straße und sind sehr laut (die ganze Nacht hindurch). Das Hotel an sich ist aber sauber und sehr günstig gelegen. Daher kann man es empfehlen, wenn man günstig zentrumsnahe wohnen möchte. Mehr

"Max. 2 Sterne!!"
Für ein 2 Sterne Haus wärs ja ok, aber nie und nimmer 4!! Zimmergrösse, Ausstattung, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden, da mangelts überall!! Wir waren da für 3 Nächte ohne Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war winzig!!, Badezimmertür liess sich nicht schliessen, TV-funktionierte nicht (keine Hilfe von der Reception), Duschstange beinahe schon am abfallen, Flecken […] auf dem Fussboden, das Bett extrem durchgelegen und der Lärm trotz geschlossenem Fenster war unerträglich. Nach unserer Reklamation konnten wir in ein Zimmer zur Hofseite wechseln welches für ein 3 Sterne Hotel ok wäre. Bei der Durchsicht der Vorgaben für die Vergabe von Sternen bei Hotels in Österreich konnte ich feststellen, dass einiges nicht erfüllt ist!! Weiss nicht wer da die Sterne vergeben hat... Fazit : NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN wenn man ein 4 Sterne Haus sucht. Mehr

"Sehr zufrieden"
Es ist sicher nicht ein 4* aber ein sehr gutes 3*. Sehr freundliches Personal und gut gelegen in die nähe von Centrum und nicht weit von Bahnhof. Wir haben Salzburg genossen!!
"Preis-Leistung super"
Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof sowie auch zum Schloss Mirabell. Das Personal ist nett und die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und sauber. Nur die Nachbarn vom Restaurant haben schon am Sonntag ab 7 Uhr lautstark irgendwas aufgebaut - aber das kommt sicher nicht jeden Tag vor...

"Close to the center but Noisy"
We stayed 3 nights in that Hotel summer 2010). The staff was just polite but not very helpful. The hotel is close to the city but situated in a main road, impossible for us to sleep late in the morning. We discovered how much the Austrians were using their Horn… even Sunday Morning. "Freundlich und erholsam"
Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet und das Personal sehr aufgestellt und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer, sowie das Badezimmer bieten alles was es braucht und wird gut gepflegt. Der Strassenlärm ist gering, da neue, gut isolierte Fenster vorhanden sind.
The hotel was nice, but I had lots of problems finding it. It wasn't so easy to spot! The staff was helpful. My hotel keys didn't work for the first day and that wasn't so pleasant. Internet worked really well in the room. Rooms were very noisy!! I liked my stay..but wouldn't go again to the same hotel.
"Value for Money"
We were very satisfied with our stay in Belmondo hotel. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. It is just 10 mins walk from the Salzburg Station. The hotel staff were also very helpful. There were no coffee-tea provision in the room, if they could also provide that it would have been great. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
"10 minute walk from hotel to main tourist hotspots"
Hotel was basic, easily knowing you pay for what you get, room clean but TV wasn't working, wifi not connecting, duvet was more like a sheet & pillow so low it didn't feel like a pillow. Most of the sights can be seen on a stroll through Salzburg's historic city center: the Residence, the Carillon, the Cathedral, the Franciscan Church, Mozart Square, […] the Horse Pond, Hofstallgasse, Hohensalzburg Fortress, St. Peter's Monastery from the hotel. Nice stroll down along the river. Handy small shopping centre close to the hotel to pick up essentials. Most shops closed on a Sunday. Europark shopping centre easy accessible by bus from hotel. Definitely look into visiting Red Bull Hangar 7 display, again accessible by bus close to the hotel. Mehr
"Great location but terrible terrible service!"
The location is convenient for arrival by train. The room is spacious although outdated and slightly dirty. However, we were locked out at 22:40 when we returned from dinner. When we first checked in, the receptionist notified us of the reception closing at 23:00 but he was gone when we got back at 22:40! Unfortunately, our keycard simply did not work […] (it did previously) and we were locked out in the rain and had to call the taxi company (they have a deal with the taxi company for after hours service). They did not even supply a phone in case this happens (and it has happened repeatedly if you read TripAdvisor reviews) so my boyfriend had to walk to the train station twice in the rain to call them while I stood at the entrance alone waiting for the taxi. By the time the taxi arrived, it was 15 past midnight. We would have given the hotel a rating of 4 if this unfortunate incident had not happened. Mehr
"Better than expected"
Stayed for four nights. Like others, I chose this hotel because it had an outstanding price and was close to the Hauptbahnhof. It was also close to a major bus line (#27) that would take you to Altstadt, and there is a Billa (the primary grocery store) just two blocks away. It is by no means a fancy hotel, but I wasn't expecting a 5-star for the price! […] I tend to be out of the room most of the day seeing sights anyway. That said, the room was more than adequate in size, and staff were very helpful. If you get a chance, take the 150 bus out to the Salzkammergut region to St. Gilgen and the Wolfgangsee...an inexpensive and convienent journey...and truly beautiful! Mehr
"Good Place to stay, but ..."
The hotel room is spacious and comfortable, especially the bathroom, is huge! The two negative points about the hotel is the reception is only open from 6am to 10.30 pm, so if you need help during night time, there is no help available. Another point is lift is build inside the reception room. So if you are carrying huge luggage, you can't take the […] lift till ground floor after 10.30pm, because the reception room is locked. You got to take the lift to second floor and drag your luggage down the flight of stairs. Mehr
"Clean, comfortable and friendly staff."
Quite a nice hotel for the price. Room was spacious and clean. About a 10-15min walk to the old city centre which is fine if you enjoy a morning walk. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
"Misleading"
This hotel seemed to be a good price, but the advertisements for it were misleading. There is no wireless internet! And they have a few ethernet cords, but they never had any available during our stay. We asked if we could use the internet in the lobby for free then, and they said no. Unfriendly staff. The TV also did not work in our room.
"Clean, but limited parking"
Booked hotel cause they claimed parking was available, when I checked in they had no spots available and staff member didnt know where was a safe/legal place to park nearby. Luckily it was the weekend, still had to park 2 blocks away. About a 15 minute walk from the centrAl area. Room clean but small.No internet available.
"Good service"
Stayed at this hotel for one night during a busy season, so they were not able to accommodate our request for a court side room (highly recommend as otherwise it is loud even with the windows closed). The TV in our room did not work, so we asked the man at the front desk to help. After some trying, he established that because they are booked solid, […] he cannot get us a cord to fix it. He did, however, do everything in his power to make up for it otherwise- Very Successfully! The breakfast was excellent and the location of it is on the rooftop overlooking the mountains. The location of the hotel is close to the main train station and Mirabell Gardens, but it is a 20ish minute walk to the fortress and main streets. Overall, a great experience. Mehr

Very central hotel near to all local amenities. Rooms were very comfortable. Do think 3p.m check in is late when you have been travelling all morning. Was surprised that there was not yet wi fi facilities in the rooms, and the one and only internet connection in the reception was not working. Did not like that at night time there is no night porter […] on duty for safety and security reasons. Mehr

smallest room I have ever stayed in. Neighborhood seems dodgy. They gouge with their prices for parking, breakfast etc. The bed sagged so bad in the middle we both had sore backs.
"Hotel"
We have stayed here twice and the hotel is great. The only downfall is the proximity to old town. It could be closer, but then the prices would be a lot higher. You can walk to old town by the river in about 10 minutes. If you plan on using your computer a lot bring a cable to hook up to the outlet since they don't have WIFI. They do rent out cables […] for 5 euros (deposit you get back when you return cable) Great Budget Hotel! Mehr
"Hotel Belmondo, NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL"
This is a two star hotel at absolute best. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly but our room was filthy. The curtains were so dirty I felt I had to wash my hands after closing them. The carpet was old and dirty, as were the duvets and pillows. I did not feel comfortable sleeping as I was so aware of how old the pillows were. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Belmondo. I would not consider it a four star, but a very comfortable three star. The woman at the front desk was very kind, efficient and helpful.

Great location and very nice staff, however quite pricey for what it was, The room condition were immaculate, would definately stay again but will remember to bring my own toothbrush next as this was not included.

We selected this hotel because of its price and despite negative reviews on Tripadvisor, but we were concerned.We were pleasantly surprised. The location was very convient ,right across a subway U station. The room was small but was adequate for a couple. The reception staff was nice and helpful. It included free Internet access. "Belmondo Hotel-- Friendly and Affordable"
If you want the best customer service, affordable, good food, and really clean hotel, this is th place to stay. The front desk, especially the director, was very helpful, friendly and just exceptional cutomer relations. The building itself was under renovation so we couldn't see the sign right away. Excellent and quaint location hotel that is for the trendy and economy minded people. Loved the location and near everything, tains staion, river and old town. Excellent restaurant next block over at corner.
