Sehr zentral gelegen auf der Kleinseite. Ein wunderbar altes Haus in dem man sich nicht als Gast, sondern fast wie ein lieber Besuch fühlt. Sehr rührige und herzliche Besitzerin. Jederzeit wieder.

Die historischen Gebäude im Herzen des Altstadtviertels Stare Mesto sind sehr gut erhalten. Der Hauptanziehungspunkt ist der gepflasterte Hauptplatz, auf dem sich das Jan Hus Monument, das Altstädter Rathaus mit seiner Astronomischen Uhr und die gotischen Kirchtürme der Teynkirche befinden. Die Karlsbrücke mit ihrer Galerie voller Heiligenstatuen verbindet die Altstadt mit dem Viertel Mala Strana.
Alle Hotels in Prag ansehen"Zu viel Design - zu wenig praktisch"
Zu viele Elemente in diesem Hotel waren zu unpraktisch: keine Abstellmöglichkeiten für die Kulturtasche, Wasser spritze von der Dusche unter die Tür, Gardinen waren sehr schwer zu "bewegen", Kopfkissen waren extrem unbequem - unter anderem. Konklusion: zu viel Design - zu wenig praktische Komfort.

"Zentrale Lage und Hotelservice passabel."
Hotel ist aus meiner Erfahrung durchaus zu empfehlen. Die Servicequalität der Hotelmitarbeiter ist allerdings sehr unterschiedlich. Eine Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption ist super hilfreich, der Rest allerdings sehr durchschnittlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die zentrale Lage ist überzeugend.

Insgesammt ein ausreichendes Hotel . Der Restaurationdbetrieb ist dürftig in seinen Möglch- keiten und im Preisniveau an der oberen Grenze für das was es bietet .Man kann nicht verstehen , warum im Bad keine vernünftige Beleuchtung vor- handen ist . Ein sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus, was dem Preisleistungverhältnis völlig entspricht. Aber als Hotelfachfrau findet man immer etwas was einen Stören könnte- Berufskrankheit ;-)
"Touristenhotel in guter Lage"
Ordentliches Hotel in guter Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreichbar. Unser auf der Rückseite gelegenes Zimmer war dabei ruhig, keinerlei Straßenlärm. Designelemente manchmal störend, aber hinnehmbar. Gelegentlich nachlässige Bedienung beim Frühstück. An der Rezeption sprach niemand deutsch - für uns nicht wichtig, aber es deutete zusammen […] mit anderen Punkten die nur geringe Bereitschaft an, für den Gast da zu sein. "Jederzeit wieder"
Wer ein durchgestyltes Design-Hotel ohne überflüssigen Schnickschnack mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben! Das Personal glänzt nicht unbedingt durch freundliche Ausstrahlung, verhält sich aber äußerst korrekt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sensationell und die Wege in die Altstadt sind kurz (ca 5 Min. zum Pulverturm). Einziger Wermutstropfen: wir hatten nach […] der Hotelvorstellung im Internet geglaubt, dass neben einer Parkgarage auch ein normaler Parkplatz zur Verfügung stehen würde. Dies ist nicht der Fall. Da um das Hotel herum keine 24-Stunden-Parkplätze zu finden sind, muss man die Parkgarage wohl oder übel in Anspruch nehmen. Die Kosten dafür entsprechen allerdings dem einer Person im Doppelzimmer des Hotels mit Frühstück. Trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt, auch bezüglich des Hotels, sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen - vielleicht das nächste mal ohne Auto. Mehr
"Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt"
Wer ein Hotel in einigermassen guten Lage sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Inneneinrichtung besticht mit modernen Design auch wenn hin und wieder die Funktionalität dabei zu kurz gekommen ist. Nichts desto trotz denke ich, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Hotel stimmt.
"Nicht das bekommen wie gebucht..."
Sehr unfreundliches Personal beim Checkin. Dreier Zimmer Reserviert und nur zweier bekommen. Executive Suite und Standard Zimmer waren gleich Ausgestattet.... Waren eine Gruppe und mussten dann selbst eine Lösung finden und Zimmer mischen. Hotel war sonst empfehlenswert, aber wenn man nicht das Gebuchte erhält ist das sehr ärgerlich...
"Design und Sauberkeit"
Die Dame an der Reception war eher unterkühlt als freundlich, der ältere Porter dafür sehr sehr nett und aufgestellt, gab uns sogar ein paar Tips für echt böhmische Restaurants, die mehr auf Einheimische und Touristen ausgerichtet sind (preislich interessant). Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, freundlich und hell. Das Design in den Gängen, Hotelhalle, Restaurant, […] Zimmer und Bad ist toll. Allerdings sind mehrere Tische im Essbereich bereits ramponiert und zerbrochen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Penne zum Abendessen nichts Besonderes, mehr Design als Geschmack. Überdies ist die Karte im Restaurant nicht überwältigend. Der Wein ist in Ordnung. Der Service cool und eher nachlässig. Die Ordnung liess eher zu wünschen übrig: ein Salzstreuer vom Frühstück her stand noch auf dem Tisch. Das schmutzige Geschirr wurde um die Ecke in Reich-, Hör- und Sehweite gestapelt... Das Personal beim Frühstück war hingegen sehr aufmerksam, das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig, sogar ein paar tschechische Spezialitäten. Die Lage des Hotels ist tatsächlich gut: 3 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof und zur Metrostation, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten (Wenzelsplatz (10 Minuten, Altstädter Ring 15 Minuten, Pulverturm 10 Minuten usw.) sowie Shoppingmeilen (z. B. Palladium oder Pariser Strasse) zu Fuss erreichbar. Überwiegend spanische Gäste... Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist bis aufs hauseigene Restaurant in Ordnung. Mehr
The shower did leak all over our suitcases which were next to the shower wall and the bathroom door did not shut all the way or have any latch on it. The breakfast buffet workers were not expecially helpful the first morning we were there. But the location was convenient (close to the train station) and not a far walk to Old Town Square.
"Perfect location friendly staff"
Staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly, room clean and warm.. Food was great too. Hotel is situated in the centre 5 min walk from the main tourist area... 5min walk to the main train/coach station (hlavne nadrazi)..
The hotel was overbooked the first night, but we was transfered just acrossed the street to an upperclass hotel and got free acces to the spa. We had a nice stay in a nice city.
"The breakfast is above expectation"
All was excellent. Free breakfast was probably the best I ever had. The only downside was - thin doors in the shower and toilet with gaps, which allowed water leak from shower to toilet, and obviously everybody in the room could hear and feel all fun sounds and smells.
"Wonderful Hotel"
I loved staying at the hotel. The only issue was the size of the room. I think the pictures are a bit misleading when it comes to size, but i really did enjoy staying in this hotel. it was modern, beautiful, and I loved the location and service. The breakfast was fantastic. Will stay again for sure!

"987 Design Prague Hotel - highly recommended"
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Our room was so nice and clean. Hotel staff are friendly. It is close to all tourist places in Prague. It is located just in front of the train station. If we go back to Prague, we will definitely stay again in this hotel.

The hotel was in a decent location, just a short walk from Wenceslas square. Far enough away that the late night druken crowds don't wake you up. The rooms were fine, my only complaint is the bed. Very firm and didn't feel much better than laying on top of plywood.
"Close to underground"
This was a great value for the cost. It was next to an Underground station, but if you don't mind a slight walk you could and we did walk to most places of interest including Prague Castle and Petrin Hill. Great service and great price.

This is a relatively nice hotel, but their internet service goes down frequently which is annoying for very connected people. The maids kept moving my stuff making it difficult to find. "Convenient to the Train Station"
We stayed one night at the 987 Design Hotel in June, 2011. We were returning to Prague in order to catch our flight home and wanted somewhere convenient to the train station. On this front, the 987 Design didn't disappoint. It was less than a 5 minute walk from the station, which was appreciated after an 8 hour train ride. The hotel provided what we […] were looking for -- a room, breakfast, and a convenient location. Our room on the 4th floor was big enough, but smaller than the other two hotels we had on this trip. The bathroom was a bit inconvenient. There is a sink out in the room with the toilet in a separate compartment on one side and the shower in a separate compartment on the other. The shower had a rain head and hand-held extension. Ours wasn't sealed great and leaked into the room a bit when it was in use. The bed was a little on the hard side, but it got the job done. Breakfast was ok. The selections were limited, but everything was of decent quality. The staff were professional but not particularly friendly. If you have a train to catch and are looking for a clean place to stay, this is a good choice. Mehr

Staff friendly and very helpful especially the Doorman/porter-good English speaking Hotel Well located close to train Station, trams and city centre. hoel 987 in prague I'd rate it as a 3 star hotel, few minutes walk from the main train station (can not be seen nor can be heard from the hotel), and is few minutes walk from attractions,THE problem are 2- the matrases are very hard, and the dinning room sometimes is full and you have to wait till a table is available for breakfast.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right across the street from the main train station and the Metro. It's also next to the tram line. It's an easy walk to many of the main sites in Prague as well. The room was very clean and modern looking. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. 987 Design Hotel in Praga is close to all the must see sights Have a excelente breakfast , walk distance to transportation, Opera House and you can really see the center of the city just walking from the Hotel. Near have 2 mini Market, and if I ever come back to Prague , this is the place I want to be

nice hotel in conventient walking distance to Prague attractions, great breakfast buffett bed was a little hard but room was nicely decorated we had to leave our luggage at the hotel and they left it in the lobby for hours, where anyone could've taken it

GREAT! Room's decor is modern, toilet's fixtures are from Grohe with Rain Shower, buffet breakfast is good value and location is 5 to 8 mins walk to station & main shopping street. Worth staying again!
"987 Design Hotel in Prague - affordable comfort"
I was really pleased by this hotel. I stayed here with my sister, her boyfriend, my mom and my aunt - a diverse group of people - and we all liked it quite well. Nicely designed rooms, great breakfast included in the price. Close to the train station, short walk to the tourist sites.
"Just what we were looking for"
The 987 Design Prague Hotel was just what we needed. After a long train ride and touring other cities, we were in need of a comforting place to stay. The decor and modern appliances really sets the mood. The staff was gracious and welcoming. The location and price could not be beat! A 2 min walk from the train station was perfectly convenient.
"Loved the shower"
Got it at around 9pm. Everything was ready. The house keeping staff is very good. The breakfast was also good. At check out, they desk clerk offered to call a cab service they use, and in waiting made us mis our flight. Just ask to call a normal cab or flag one down to save yourself the head ache. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are a nice […] size. The beds suck. The best part of the hotel is the shower. Loved the shower.... We loved the hotel design and the location was good. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a good variety. The room we got was nicely decorated and spacious (although our friends got a smaller room so there is a difference between the different rooms, both executive). The room was on the last floor and had a sort of sunroof so there was light […] in the morning which woke us up early. Also, the window could not open so we couldn't get some air inside.I would ask for a specific room with a window & good curtains next time I make a reservation. "987 Design Prague Hotel - Excellent Location"
On arrival at the hotel we were greeted in a very friendly way, the check in process took no longer than 5 minutes and the reception staff spoke very good english. The room was excellent, extremely clean and spacious with a great shower. Breakfast was a continental selection which you could get from 7-10.30 so you could still have a lie in and then […] get breakfast if you so wished. The bar prices were a little expensive but then in comparison to the town centre bar prices they were reasonable! All in all it was a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Prague. It has an ideal location, only a 5 minute walk to the New Town area where the National Museum and several other sight seeker attractions are. And a tube station is only a few minutes walk which is enables you to get to any of the sights in Prague that you may wish to see. Mehr

This was a wonderful hotel. My only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard but other than that it was great. Very good location, right across the street from the main train station and about a 10 minute walk to Wencelas Square. Free breakfast each morning and computers available for use in the lobby. The rooms have a nice contemporary design in the […] style of a W but not quite as nice. This hotel is also the best I have seen at energy conservation. The halls by the rooms all have motion detectors so the lights are off unless someone is walking in the hallway. The rooms also must have a key in slot for the lights to be on so you can't leave and forget to turn out the lights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague. Mehr
