"nice place"
Convenient location and good rates.
VERY firm matress. Quiet neighborhood and close to interstate was a plus.
"Do not take smoking room"
I took a smoking room because it was the only one available. It smelled worse than any other smoking room I'd ever been in. The vent didn't work in the bathroom. I would never stay in a smoking room there again. It also had a poorly marked parking lot entrance.
"Adequate stay - dissapointing breakfast"
Clean comfortable room, everything as expected in a 1-2 star hotel. I was surprised that in a non smoking room both bedspreads had multiple cigarette burns. Breakfast was a dissapointment, coffee, dry cereal and whitebread. There was no milk, toaster did not work properly, and the "juice" was an attrocious watery mess. At checkout I had to wait 45 minutes […] for the clerk to come to the desk. Overall it was a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep. Mehr
"Not alot of options in this small town..."
Looking for something inexpensive, this is your place. Go to this twon couple times a year and the number of hotels/motels is limited in this small town. Has a decent free breakfast, and short walk to Walmart and couple other eatterys.

"Stains, bugs, dark, no elevator, no iron"
I found a a small wingless bug in my bed, I don't believe it was a bed bug, though. Upon investigating the bedding and mattress further, for more bugs, I found nasty stains on the blankets (blue, green, and RED). The room was not well lit. The hotel does not have an elevator or irons in every room. They do have an iron and a full size ironing board […] at the front desk, though. It was NOT a NASTY NASTY hotel, but it was definitely an UNPLEASANT hotel, so I'd stay away in the future. Mehr

"Not Happy!"
Breakfast was bad! The coffee especially; very weak! Room had a very musty smell.

"needs carpet cleaned"
the overall experience was good. the staff was friendly and co-operative. However, the floors were STICKY!! the carpet in hall and room were just sticky and dirty. When we told the day manager about it, he was clearly upset and said it would be taken care of. Hopefully he did. The location was great, and the beds were soft.

Other hotel reviews say that it was not a good hotel because it was located near other restaurants.

Clean room, bath. etc. A little further out from downdown Ashland. than I thought. No surrounging eating places. Quite.

"Safe but......."
When we stopped at Days Inn, Ashland, we were in the middle of our vacation trip and had been staying in other hotels and would continue for a few more days. Although we felt 'safe' in the hotel and the room, there were things that disappointed us, the greatest of which were the lack of 'friendliness' as we checked in and the limited choices for the […] continental breakfast.
