Gute Lage - Zimmer zum Innenhof ruhig wenige Minuten bis zur Innenstadt - Bushaltestellen in direkter Nähe - U-Bahn am Universitätsplatz in 2 - 3 Minuten erreichbar - sauber - freundlich - Frühstück nicht genutzt, war mir zu teuer

Das Hotel ist absolut erstklassig in punkto Sauberkeit, Service und Lage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof und haben mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen können, und das direkt im Zentrum, einmalig.

The only thing was I'm surprised that they have half the rooms with heating, half the rooms with air conditioning. It was too hot for the first night so we moved to another room with air-conditioning, but then it got a bit cold as we both fallen ill (very unfortuante). Do ask when you check in what side you're on if you're particular about hot/cold […] room temperature. Mehr

Very nice boutigue hotel. Centrally located. Only ten minute walk to la Rambla and Placa Catalunya. Close to metro and Aerobus stop. Very convenient. Hotel is small but very clean and modern. Reception area is lovely. The two girls on reception were very nice. The guy was not as friendly but ok. The rooms are clean and well kept. The decor is basic […] but nice. Rooms are very small but its not really a problem. Aircon was ok but Id say it could be improved as the summer heat might be alot warmer. The small hall way from the elevator was always very hot. Very close to the metro, and plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. My only negative feedback was the comfort of the beds. There pretty stiff and we never got any great sleep as a result. But the hotel was price friendly and very clean.

The hotel staff was great and spoke fluent english. The hotel is located close to the subway, but you could easily walk to many of the attractions (about a mile). Great hotel and helpful staff. Gave us discounts on some site-seeing activities and held our luggage when we arrived early and left late. Very convenient walk to catalanya square, metro stations and La Rambla! Over all very worth it!!!

It was just as the previous reviews stated-within walking distance to Las Ramblas and to Placa de Catalunya. Our rooms were ready @9AM after flying from the U.S., so able to catch a little nap before exploring the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The Hotel is very well situated for the attractions of Barcelona and the Metro for those places further afield.. The Hotel has friendly helpful staff and the rooms were kept clean. The furniture and fittings were of a good standard. The aircon was quiet and worked well. All in all we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfectly located away from the noise and crowds around La Rambla but still within walking distance of everything. My daughter and I enjoyed getting lost in the streets of Barcelona and finding our way back to this beautiful hotel. We were very happy with our choice of hotel for our four day stay in Barcelona. It is very well located only a few minutes walk from La Rambla, and the rooms were very comfortable. We had a room facing the back, which meant it was quiet, although like all Spanish hotels, the rooms are not very well insulated and you have to be prepared to hear your […] neighbours come and go. The staff was very helpful and serviceminded, and also recommended an excellent restaurant. The rooms are fairly small but are well appointed - our only complaint was the reading lamps which really were not sufficient to read by. Also there is only one English TV-channel, Sky News, which was a little repetitive after a while. We found the breakfast area nice and cosy, and the breakfast buffet offered everything we needed, including scambled eggs and bacon at a reasonable price. We will definitely return to this hotel and would warmly recommend it to couples looking for a central, but quiet hotel with good service. Mehr

Nice modern small hotel with a warm homey feel. The staff was fun and helpful. The location was safe and close to everything.

We chose a hotel within a reasonable budget and were very happy with the actual hotel. It is situated slightly remote from the main tourist districts but a 10 minute walk through the commercial district takes you to the top of Las Ramblas. We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet, which is quite rare for Barcelona. Staff & condition […] of the hotel were extremely good. Would consider staying again. Mehr

This hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was very close to center city which made it nice. The room was a bit on the small side for us but we had a great deal of luggage as this was a stop over on a trip that was going to last over 3 weeks. We were able to store everything. Some of the area was a bit dirty but […] we always felt safe and welcome. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants and is a short walking distance to the tour busses. This Hotel has a great look and has free wi-fi. Located near the University area it is also a short walk the the shops around the Ramlas.

The title more or less describes it all. The hotel is quite modern, with nice decor. The neighborhood is quite nice as well, with easy access to the metro and the Aerobus, which is an easy 30-minute ride to the airport. There are a couple of nice bars and cafeterias in the neighborhood as well. We would recommend Escriba, which is by the Urgell metro, […] for a nice quick breakfast. The staff was also very helpful with dinner recommendations and other things we needed while staying. We'd definitely stay there again if visiting Barcelona. Mehr

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was great and let us store our large luggage for the weekend when we checked out and went to Paris.

The rooms are done really well, in wood panels and my room was on the top floor with a huge verandah. the bathrooms too are spacious. very clean rooms, no carpets, so no residual dust. location is extremely convenient, 10 minutes walk to la rambla. but the best part is the staff. very very courteous and helpful. i had left my laptop in the room, they […] put it in the safe for me. very impressed. overall amazing place, would definitely go back and recommend to anyone travelling there. Only stayed one night but very impressed with this hotel. Modern & clean hotel & rooms. A big thank you to the female receptionist who was particularly helpful and knowledgable about the sights and restaurants in Barcelona. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Well presented hotel, good size rooms with large wardrobe and superb shower room. Very clean and quiet except for street noise so would recommend asking for room at back of hotel. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast looked expensive so used one of the many street cafes for half the price. We will use this hotel again.

Ideal spot, central to most everything, quiet modern hotel,only downside there was no tea and coffee makeing facilities,also breakfast was rather over priced at 20 euros a go ,otherwise no complaints....

We spent three nights at this hotel end August with our two children. - Great location and the service from reception was excellent. They gave us both lunch and dinner restaurant recommendations each day and all were excellent - and we are particular about our food. Room was clean with lovely decor. Nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Great location, great decor, clean room and friendly staff! Only 5 mins walk from Las Ramblas. We didn't try the breakfast, it would have been nice to have the breakfast included in the rate, but not a biggy as there is plenty of choice within a few minutes walk

Chosen off this website because of previous reviews, i had booked this hotel for a five day trip to Barcelona to celebrate my husband's birthday. Superb location with extremely helpful, fluent English speaking, reception staff who advised us on Sightseeing bus trips and Restaurants. Very clean, quiet & comfortable. Highly recommendable.

Blev positivt överaskad. Ett mycket fräscht och stilrent hotell. Bäst var badrummet och balkongen. Ett mycket prisvärt hotell jag starkt kan rekommendera.

Jeg og alle mine kolleger var svært fornøyde med hotelloppholdet på Hotel Advance under en forretningreise i fjor. Det var naturlig at jeg valgte hotellet igjen på privat reise til Barcelona, og vi fikk et flott rom på baksiden av hotellet. Delikate rom, sentral beliggenhet og strålende service er nøkkelord for hotellet. Pga andre anmeldelser har […] vi ikke spist frokost på hotellet (Helt sikkert grei men altfor dyr, når det er koselige spisesteder like i nærheten). Men alt-ialt: Et hotell som vi varmt anbefaler! Positive: 1. A location at the edge of the center and Naval district, with teen minutes walk to the end of Las Rambas (Pl. catalunya), from where also the expensice shopping and resturant area can be reached by foot in 10-20 minutes. 2. The hotel has a newly renovated standard. 3. There are a balcony or terrace (probably agiants addtional charge) to […] most or all? rooms. Negative: 1. There are onlsy one chair in a double room and no table, and the desk is the dept of a shelf. 2. There are no tissues and no washcloth at the bathroom. 3. The cleaning at the rooms stops at 2pm and there are no info about this !! This is the first time we have excperienced such a miserable service and we were very dissapointed with the hotel after going out 2 pm and coming back at 5 pm, seeing that our room was not cleaned and told by the reception that it will not be after 2 pm. 4. There are a possibility of breakfast in the reception area for about 15 euro + tax (8%), but besides that no bar or restaurant. 5. There are free WIFI but then only a payment PC in the lobby, where you even have to pay for checkin. Conclusion: The hotel is not living up to expectations and is not recommendable. Mehr

Good location, clean, nice modern design and decoration but so lousy soundproofing. You can hear the metro in the 2nd floor, talking from the neighbour room etc. Remember to ask the room from courtyard side and preferably from the upper floors.

Hotellets receptionspersonal var oerhört trevliga och hjälpsamma. Vi skrattade även med städerskan trots att vi inte pratade samma språk. Vi hade även en egen terass där vi kunde sola när vi ville utan att behöva boka solstolar. Det som vi saknade var ett starkt och fungerande wifi, men våra vänner hade samma problem på ett annat hotell så det kan vara […] samma över hela staden. Och ett parasoll hade verkligen varit skönt, även om man inte var så mycket på rummet. Mehr

Bra Hotell , lite hårda sängar för min rygg, Frukost äter du på ett fik 30m ifrån hotellet för 15 Eu är för mycket på hotellet Andra gången på detta hotell Mycket nöjd

Hotellet motsvarade väl våra förväntningar. Centralt läge, nära till tunnelbanan och la Rambla. Lite små men fräscha rum. Vi hade t o m terrass! I ett av rummen var AC:n trasig så det droppade vatten. Vi köpte frukost på caféet på hörnet, det finns gott om serveringar i närheten.

Bra hotell, rene og moderne rom og hyggelig personale. Litt dårlig med lys og speil. Vanskelig å si om dette er et 3 eller 4-stjerners hotell, men absolutt verdt prisen. Sentral beliggenhet, gåavstander til det meste og supert for de som ikke ønsker å bo midt på la rambla! Dropp frokost, mange bra bakerier og kafeer rett i nærheten.
