Hotel at WaterWalk Wichita - Wichita

Very intimate with great location and staffing.

If I ever decided to stay in Wichita again this will be the place. They were super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, really nicely decorated, and big. The pillows were so amazing that I slept the entire night soundly. The breakfast was amazing. Overall I can't say enough good things about this place!

The staff and amenities that this hotel had to offer was amazing. The overall value is better than anything you will find out there. My family of five fit into the one bedroom suite perfectly and the small kitchen was very helpful and useful. The amount we paid for a small apartment like room was the best rate for that type of room I have ever found […] and it is very affordable for a family on a budget. The staff was so friendly and always willing to help and offer any of the hotels many, many amenities. The breakfast was amazing! Not just a small continental breakfast, but made to order omelets, waffles, etc. There was always staff around keeping the dining area clean and keeping all of the food fresh. We travel to Wichita to visit family often, and although this hotel is not too close to our family, it is definitely worth the small drive to stay here again. Mehr

Staff was very accomodating and the breakfast was excellent.The room was nicely decorated and very spacious. Light switches might be more conveniently arranged so overhead lights can be turned off at the bed but that's my only minor criticism.

I was very inpressed with the hotel and the service. It made me feel like I was a V.I.P. I wouldn't stay any other place when I come and stay in the City of Wichita.

Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Good breakfast every morning. Overall a great stay!

Good place. Noisy by Kellogg if you are in a room right beside the highway.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the rooms are very spacious and are laid out very well. We were there during the Wichita tornado and even though we are from Oklahoma and know what to do during tornados, the staff was very diligent about making sure we knew what to do if needed. The staff was, by far, the […] friendliest, most helpful, and knowledgeable staff we have ever encountered at any hotel we have stayed in. We normally stay at medium to high end hotel chains. All those hotel chains in the Wichita area were much higher priced than The Hotel at Waterwalk. We will definately stay there again when in the Wichita area. Mehr

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable and our room was very clean and the breakfast was beyond what you would expect. Service was great too. Everyone is interested in your comfort and enjoyment with your stay. Nice to have bottled water and snacks waiting in the room too (all complimentary of course). Nice stay but the rooms immediately beside Kellogg are noisy due to the highway traffic.

The hotel was welcoming and well kept. It is located close to the downtown area but in a quiet neighborhood. The room was neat and clean. The bed was amazing and linens were of a nicer quality. Plus, pet friendly.

Booked to be close to convention location, but at much better rate. Easy to find and minutes from convention. Room was modern and filled with great extras. Will definately stay here again.

The staff and hotel were excellent. I will stay at the Drury whenever I am in Wichita.

Initially I thought this hotel was a little close to Kellog Ave but the location is perfect for anyone staying in Wichita. The staff was the most professional and genuinely courteous group of hotel employees that I have experienced. The breakfast was terrific - this is not your normal breakfast buffet. The staff makes omelets, waffles, fresh fruit, […] gourmet coffee, and will do their best to accommodate any specials requests. There are free meals in the lounge some evenings and even some entertainment. If you haven't tried this place, check it out. You won't be disappointed. Mehr

Great place to stay if an apartment suits your travel situation. This appears to be an apartment complex converted for hotel-style stays, so just be aware you'll sacrifice a little convenience that staying in an enclosed hotel facility provides. The clubhouse/office is converted to typical hotel lobby configuration, with separate breakfast area and […] very good continental-style fare. HOWEVER, in exchange for the very small inconveniences, you can get a spacious suite with queen bed, full bathroom, full-size 'fridge and microwave, and a sitting area with flat screen TV AND FIREPLACE! Now the BONUS: an upstairs loft with it's own bed, flat-screen TV and full bathroom. Tough to beat these accommodations for price and location in Wichita. Perfect place for a short get-away, and the separate loft is particularly great for parents traveling with a teenager. We'll be staying there again! Mehr

The staff at this property go above and beyond. This is a great hotel.

The staff was absolutly awsome. Great breakfast, clean, modern, spacious room. Bob the shuttle driver was great. We will definately stay here every time we visit Wichita.

I was very impressed with this hotel! It was my first time to stay there. They had wood floors in the room with a full kitchen, a recliner, a desk and more than 1 chair! It was close to the arena and they had a free shuttle to and from the arena. All of the staff were extremely friendly. They have a complimentary breakfast with made to order waffles […] and omlets. They even allow pets! It is right off the highway and you could hear traffic when outside, but I did not notice it when in my room. I did occassionally hear a train, but it did not wake me up during the night. I would reccomend this hotel and will stay there again! Mehr

The staff was extremly friendly! We stayed on the weekend of the time change, we didn't change the time on the clock in the hotel so when we woke up on Sunday morning we thought it was 9:30. Breakfast was served until 10 so we went to get breakfast. The kitchen staff was already cleaning up from breakfast and thats when we realized it was actually 10:30 […] instead of 9:30 but they went back into the kitchen and made us something to eat. No problem, they were so nice about it that we ended up laughing about our mistake. Also the rooms were very comfortable. I usually get really stressed out when we stay in hotels but I was able to organize everything in the huge closet and I felt like I was on vacation instead of being stressed, We had a room with a fire place and my husband and I watched a movie with the fire going...it was very relaxing! Stray cats running around with piles of cat food left out for them....maid knocked at 745 am after I had put the dnd sign out....it's close to the highway but I was just below the busy road and didn't hear anything. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was a little rough looking but I didn't have any issues.

Hotel was easy to find. Staff was awesome. Within walking distance of Intrust Arena which is where we were going the night of our stay but the hotel did offer a free shuttle as well. They even offered to take us to where we wanted to eat dinner but the weather was so good that we decided to walk. Had an awesome breakfast in the morning. Read in one […] review that the hotel would only accept cash but that is not true. They will accept cash but actually prefer credit cards. Very quiet even though the hotel is located right off the highway. The only issue I had was that my reservations said our room had a firepalce in the room and there was not one. Mehr

I was not aware that I needed $100.00 cash deposit to get a room and pay cash for the room. I was lucky I had what I needed to give you what you requested, only after I had arrived.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. They were willing to personalize our stay as much as we wanted. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The rooms are huge, set up like a residence-type inn with a living room, large desk/table and a full kitchen, The location right on I54 is close to downtown and an easy drive from the airport. Also includes a decent breakfast buffet and free wireless. Very nice people, too.

This hotel had just reopened ( after a name change and refurbishing ) when we stayed there. It has a wonderful location - close to old town Wichita and the river - for a very nice price. We will definitely stay there again.

I was in town for a convention and shared a room with a friend. We stayed in one of the loft bedrooms. It was fabulous! We each had our own bedrooms, separate bathrooms, full kitchen, living room with a fire place, etc. The little court yard by our room was so quaint and inviting to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning or evening. The only down […] side is there were a lot of steps to carry luggage up. However, my friend and I felt it was worth it for all the extras we had with the room. I loved my stay here and hope to stay there again next year. Mehr

I loved this hotel. I stayed in one of the Suites with the loft bedroom and it was great. The room was recently renovated and was beautiful. The staff and customer service was exceptional. Our first evening, there was a grand opening event to which we were invited and it was wonderful. The hotel has a boutique feel to it. Close to the airport and convention […] center. We did not have a car so the front desk called for a cab which arrived very quickly. Lovely place. I recommend it highly. Mehr

I generally don't like staying in hotels but this one made me feel very comfortable b/c it was so homey. I loved the fact it was so roomy, plenty of room for everything. The staff was very friendly. I stayed in a newly renovated room, which at first glance was nice. I returned the first evening to notice my windows had no drapes. I went to the front desk and told them. Their response was that they were ordered but didn't arrive on time. They said they could change rooms for me, but it would be a major downgrade. Then, the next morning when I went […] to take a shower, there was no hot water. I could touch the water heater in my closet and all of the pipes were cold. I again went to the front desk. They said the manager would be in later to see it got fixed and to compensate me for my troubles. When I returned that evening, the manager had left a mattress cover and a note stating that I was the first to stay in the room. She was sorry that the drapes didn't arrive and I could hang the mattress cover up over the window if I wished. I had to hang it myself. She did say that if I wanted help, to contact the front desk. So, I stayed the first night with no curtains on the windows, not only for privacy but all of the outside light came in as well. There were some clear drapes but didn't do much. Then, the first morning I was without hot water because nobody checked to be sure it was ready before it was stayed in. And, to top it off, no kind of compensation whatsoever was even attempted to make anything right with me. Mehr

The Cambridge Suites Wichita is a very nice hotel. although I think you should get coffee for everyday that you are there other then that I like the hotel very much and would stay there again.
